Hi lybrate-user, don’t worry Ayurveda & yoga helps you. Here I give you some suggestions. Most flat feet do not cause pain or other problems. Flat feet may be associated with pronation, a leaning inward of the ankle bones toward the center line. Shoes of children who pronate, when placed side by side, will lean towards each other (after they have been worn long enough for the foot position to remodel their shape). Daily practice of Virasana, which stretches the top of the foot and strengthens the arches, is necessary. Virasana for 10 minutes each day before bedtime. During the practice of this wonderful pose, massage the arches of your feet, pressing on the arches as if cultivating an arch with your thumbs. While practicing standing poses, carefully press the big toe mounds and inner heels down into the floor, and powerfully recoil the arches up into the inner ankles. This may be difficult initially, but will eventually build the strength that you need in your arches. Standing poses would help, particularly Uttkatasana with toes lifted off the floor. You could suggest a whole series starting with Tadasana with toes off the floor, then Uttkatasana, then one-legged poses like Vrksasana and Ardha Chandrasana initially and then Virabhadrasana 3, Garudasana, Natarajasana. Some others would be squatting poses like Malasana (just squatting without the hands and the head in the equation) and Pasasana. Actually coming to think of it the first stage of Bakasana (Crane pose) is squatting. Another one would be Bhekasana (Frog pose) even though it is done by lying on one's stomach; the bending of the arches. For more details free to private consult.

I am 25 and married but yet to plan for kids 1) Need suggestion to reduce weight in a healthy manner 2) Going through severe pains in the joints especially on to lower back and knees. Upon taking a lab report found out that I have very low vitamin D count. Also, getting angry and shout at people in the recent past. Could this also b because of the deficiency in vitamin D.(Count is 8) 3) how to reduce the tummy.

You can take tab. Uprise D once a week for 4 weeks and take calcium supplement also. Get your haemoglobin checked. As for reducing tummy, you have to take care of diet and lifestyle. You can contact me for diet plans to reduce weight.

Rule out Hypertension, Diabetes or any other metabolic disorder. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold air flowing from air conditioner. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding.  --. Use no pillow under the head. --. I m 23 years old, and I have right knee ligament injury from 3 month, I have met several Dr, after 2 month one Dr. said its not ligament injury and he took out some water and pain decreased by 70% but, some times it still pain what may causes. Did it because of ligament injury or not.

Hello in Winters what patients complains mostly is joint pains. To get some relief keep your painful joint warm. Even if you can't go for a walk, do some simple exercise at home only. Move your joints like we used to do in childhood in PT period in school. As far as belly fat is concerned that is the biggest obstruction in doing any kind of activities. That need to be addressed first with proper diet plan and exercise. Obesity puts extra pressure on the joints. So it can be the reason of your knee ankle pain. Tinnitus or sound in ear is due to some kind of balance coordination issue which is common as the age progresses. That also need to be addressed carefully. Hope it clears your doubts. Regards.

Use hot water bag and keep it there for sometime. Do it regularly. You can also consult a physiotherapist. He can show you various exercises to relieve the pain and then you can do it on your own.
