I have the problem of acne from 8 years. I tried different medicines, some worked some didn't.problem is not solved yet. Also I have black spots due to acne. Pls suggest any treatment.

BHMS, DEMS
Homeopath, Pune
Acne occurs when the pores on your skin become blocked with oil, dead skin, or bacteria. Each pore on your skin is the opening to a follicle. The follicle is made up of a hair and a sebaceous (oil) gland. The oil gland releases sebum (oil), which travels up the hair, out of the pore, and onto y skin. Drink water 10 glass / day wash your face 3 times / day avoid oily food eat one orange daily do not squeeze pimples, because that often leads to infections, worse acne and scars. Wash your hair often if your hair is oily. Try to keep your hair off of your face. Avoid hair care products such as gels, mousses, cream rinses, and pomades that contain a lot of oil. Use baksons sunny face wash. Avoid touching your face. Protect your skin from too much sun exposure. For complete cure kindly consult us.

You are having mild throat infection it seems. Please visit a ENT to rule out the same. Also do eat a chapatti less according to your schedule and see if this helps you.

I am having a lot of acnes since 3-4 years and I sweat a lot too even in winters.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the over-production of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkercheif with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing facewash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifoium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

The first and foremost thing is to identify the cause by taking a detailed history. It occurs due to hormone changes, infection and unhealthy diet. Take food with high vitamin a, vitamin e and c contents. Drink lots of water. Regulate your daily activities, lower stress, increase sleep and do some yoga and exercise daily. You should consult a dermatologist for proper acne prescription.

Hi I am married 3 months ago and my body is very heat whole day and my health is also normal is this is a disease or what else pls help me in this and I am getting my periods also in time regarding health I don't have any other problem also.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Body heat may be genetic and as you have no problem you can ignore it . You check your thyroid by doing TSH and also you may have Anhidrosis which is the inability to sweat normally. When you don't sweat (perspire), your body can't cool itself, which can lead to overheating and sometimes to heatstroke — a potentially fatal condition. Anhidrosis — sometimes called hypohidrosis — can be difficult to diagnose.

Sexologist,
Most sex headaches are nothing to worry about. But some can be related to problems with the blood vessels of brain. Anti-migraine medications can be taken an hour before masturbation to prevent headaches. If severe you can see a neurologist.

Turmeric is good ingredient for skin. Make a facepack with mixture of turmeric and milk. Apply this and wash off after an hour with cold water for glowing skin. Lemon juice and glycerin work nicely for dry skin whereas fuller’s earth and turmeric are used for oily skin.
