Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium tcan worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days.

The thought of starting a new relationship after a breakup can be scary. Even an amicable split can leave you feeling insecure, depressed or wary of getting close to someone else. By focusing on your needs and approaching a potential relationship with the right frame of mind, you will be more likely to start a new relationship that will last.

It's important to strike a balance between diving right back into the dating scene and giving yourself sufficient time to recover from your breakup. To get the best out of a new relationship, you need to learn to value your relationship with yourself first. Go with what feels right for you, advises psychotherapist barton goldsmith in his article" 10 things to remember after a breakup" for" psychology today" but aim for somewhere in the middle of two extremes. Make sure you're not still too hung up on your ex before you get into another relationship, but don't wait so long that you become scared of putting yourself out there.

Even if your previous relationship ended badly, it can still be a really valuable lesson. Thinking about why things didn't work out with your ex can help you determine what you want from your next relationship and what aspects of yourself you may need to work on. If your last relationship ended because of a lack of trust, consider how you could have dealt with the problem in a more productive way. It's not about beating yourself up over what went wrong. Mr. Lybrate-user, both sugar levels look good. Testing by glucometer regularly for self monitoring is good enough. Usually it is said glucometer (calpillary blod) reading is slightly higher than venous blood reading by 11%. But now a days all glucometers are calibrated to give readings like the lab ones. Difference may be visible in pp readings if at all. Frequency of testing depends upon severity and drugs used. That is if insulin is used then almost every day testing is required. Sometimes even two or three times a day, to adjust insulin dosage and avoid hyper or hypoglycemia. Those on oral drugs if blood sugar levels are well controlled then testing once in two weeks or so may be required.

Hi Lybrate user Being overweight or obese is a gateway to developing dreadful diseases including type-2 diabetes, heart disease, and some types of cancer. We all know a simple answer to this: weight loss. Weight loss is a healthy living choice in which you consistently maintain eating a balanced, nutritious, detox diet, and be physically active. Healthy Diet plan A weight loss diet is not a fad diet or a crash diet. A weight loss diet is also not a diet that leads you to stress, and increases your chances of binge eating. It is a diet that amply minimizes your bad fat intake, supplies you with good energy to get you through the day, and which adds immensely positively to your body health. What makes for a weight loss, detox diet? For starters, you will need to say goodbye to all debilitating sugar food. It means omitting out from your diet: soft drinks, chocolates, ice-creams, jams, sauces and sugar-laden pastries. As you begin to get past the sugar diet, your body will begin understanding how to reduce weight fast. Next, you will need to incorporate the following for a healthy detox diet: 1. Eating 3-4 cups of assorted vegetables daily. 2. Replacing white bread with whole wheat bread. White flour food items like pizza, pasta, pastries or naan shouldn’t be a part of your diet. Instead you need to be opting whole wheat bread, chapatis, and brown rice in your diet. Even for biscuits, get rid of munching on biscuits made from refined flour, and instead snack on whole wheat crackers or bran biscuits. 3. Not skipping a meal. Make eating at least three meals a day your habit. 4. A good detox diet includes having plenty of water. Drinking more and more water helps eliminate toxins from body and keeps the system clean. 5. If you are a non-vegetarian, eat lots of fish. 6. For an effective weight loss diet, limit your fat intake to 2-3 teaspoons a day. 7. Increasing fiber intake in your diet. This is an important element for weight loss and makes for a healthy diet plan. Eating fiber rich food provides bulk, a sense of fullness, and prevents hunger pangs. It helps balance out the blood sugar and eases the elimination cycle. Foods include wheat bran, whole fruits and vegetables. Supplements of Psyllium seed husks and Guar gum are also rich sources of fiber. A good detox diet is finally complete with supplies that have plenty of antioxidants like Vitamins C and E, Selenium. Antioxidants are important because when we begin to lose weight we start losing fat from fat cells. Along with the fat, the stored toxins also get liberated. A healthy diet plan and exercising is a fool-proof way of how to reduce weight fast yet safely. Make this a lifetime habit, and a healthy, disease free, happy life would follow.

For weight gain have frequent meals (every 2-3 hrs) including foods that re low in volume but high in energy & nutrient density- cheese, paneer, nut & fruit milkshake, oilseeds, whole egg, chicken, fish, soybean/tofu, premix, malt., fresh fruit juice (mango/bel), sugarcane juice. Have cow/buffalo milk & its products, white bread with peanut butter, potato, white rice with ghee, atta-maida roti with ghee. Include plenty of vegetables in form of puree, chutney, incorporated within dishes. Drink 3 litres water daily. Practice strength exercises to increase lean body mass & appetite.

You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. For a start please follow: •Cut down the excess carbs. If you want to lose weight you should start by avoiding sugar and starch (like bread). A low carb diet reduces your hunger and makes it easier to eat less. And it might even increase your fat burning at rest. •Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals will not make you lose weight faster. That strategy backfires because your body thinks food is in short supply, so it slows your metabolism in order to conserve energy. Over time, the result is that when you do eat — even if you consume the same foods as always — your body will be slower to use the calories as fuel, thus creating a backlog of unwanted pounds. •Stay hydrated. You've heard it before, and you'll hear it again. That's because drinking 64 ounces of water daily is one of the easiest ways to speed up weight loss. Your body needs water in order to efficiently metabolize stored fat. When you shortchange your supply, you're likely to slow down that process, meaning it's more difficult for you to burn calories. An easy eight glasses a day (at least!) will keep your system running smoothly. •Start exercising. Strength training builds lean muscle tissue, which burns more calories — at work or at rest — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The more lean muscle you have, the faster you'll slim down. How do you start strength training? Try some push-ups or a few squats or lunges. Use your free weights to perform simple biceps curls or triceps pulls right in your home or office. Do these exercises three to four times per week, and you'll soon see a rapid improvement in your physique. •Go for an evening walk. An evening activity may be particularly beneficial because many people's metabolism slows down toward the end of the day. Thirty minutes of aerobic activity before dinner increases your metabolic rate and may keep it elevated for another two or three hours, even after you've stopped moving. What that means for you: Those dinner calories have less of a chance to take up permanent residence on your hips. •Take adequate rest. You should also make an effort to get enough good sleep, preferably every night. Strive to wake up refreshed of your own accord, independently of the alarm clock. If you’re the kind of person who always gets brutally woken up by the alarm ringing, you might never be giving your body adequate rest. •Supplement vitamins and minerals. Nutrient-dense, good food is certainly the foundation of weight loss. But an adequate amount of vitamin D can be difficult to ingest via food. In the case of a lack of sun (such as during the darker months of autumn and winter), it’s wise to supplement for multiple health reasons – and perhaps even for your weight. WEIGHT GAIN To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. •Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. •Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your daily food intake should ideally consist of nuts, dry fruits, seeds, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. •Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. •Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. •Supplementation. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. •Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

1) there can be many reasons for your back pain most common can be work over load or strain. Exact reason can be known only after knowing the nature and extent of your pain. The best treatment till that is rest, avoid straineous activities and do light exercises under supervision. 2) thyroid can be hyper or hypo and symptoms differ accordingly.

You have not written what medicines you have taken. The cause for irregular cycles can be many, varying from hormonal imbalance, hypothyroidism etc. Since irregular periods are not good for your health, you must consult a gynaecologist for further treatment.
