Hair fall is a very common phenomenon that plagues millions of people around the globe. Most of you take supplements of vitamin on a regular basis as it aids the build-up of new hair and skin cells. Read on to find out how exactly do the various vitamins help your hair: 1.Vitamin A: This vitamin controls the production of retinoic acid in your hair follicle. It is not only helpful for skin care but stimulates hair growth. It is immensely fruitful in moisturizing your hair and keeping it healthy. Vitamin A is usually found in sweet potatoes, carrots, tuna, lettuce, mango, sweet red peppers, green leafy vegetables and spinach. 2.Vitamin B: Variants of this, such as B12, aid in hair growth by managing stress. Vitamin B is found in fruits such as oranges and papayas, and beans. 3.Vitamin C: This vitamin helps you absorb iron from the food you eat which is an absolute essential for hair growth. It also boosts the synthesis of collagen that is required to repair the damage and sustain the structure of your hair. Fruits such as papayas, guavas, lemons, sweet lime, orange, kiwi, vegetables such as broccoli, yellow bell peppers and leafy vegetables are replete with Vitamin C. 4.Vitamin D: This vitamin rejuvenates the hair cells in order to form new shafts of hair. Vitamin D is found in dairy products, mushrooms, soy milk, tofu, and cheese. Vitamin D is also naturally made by your body when you expose your skin to the sun, and is called the sun-shine vitamin. 5.Vitamin E: This aids in stimulating capillaries and enhancing blood circulation on the scalp. This additionally contributes to hair growth due to its high anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidant content. Certain foods loaded with Vitamin E are pumpkin, broccoli, olive oil, sunflower seeds, almonds, avocado, tofu and spinach. 6.Vitamin B5: It is also known as Panthenol, is a vital ingredient that is used in medicines to regulate hair fall. Foods enriched with Vitamin B5 are sweet potatoes, sunflower seeds, avocados, cheese and mushrooms. Other Ways to Help Hair- We have gone over the vitamins that may be important for the health of your hair. But lifestyle changes can help just as much. Try: 1.Cutting back on gels, blow-drying, and brushing hair when wet 2.Lowering your stress by exercising at least 30 minutes a day 3.Drinking enough water, 6-8 glasses a day Being mindful of the foods and drinks you consume, the products you use, and the way you manage stress, can all help improve the well-being of your hair. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult me.

Hello- facial hairs in women occur due to hormonal changes (over secretion of male hormone androgens) in the body. >according to ayurveda these changes occur due to improper diet and schedule and can be reversed by correcting your daily regimen. 1) go for a pelvic ultrasound to rule out pcod. 2) perform kapalbhati pranayam. It is beneficial in hormone related disorders. 3) use shatavari powder daily with milk. This medicine is very beneficial in case hormonal disturbances in females. 4) avoid fast foods, spicy diet, and sleeping in the day timing.

Ingredients: aloe vera plant, shampoo take the piece of aloe vera plant and put it in boiling water. Make sure to moniter it closely. You don't want to leave it there too long. About 2-3 min will do. Cut the aloe vera plant and get the gel part out. Put it in a blender and blend until its liquid. It will get foamy, but don't worry about that. Take a bottle of your favorite shampoo, I try to keep it simple though. Divide the shampoo into two bottles. Divide the aloe vera into the two bottles so each bottle has half shampoo and half aloe vera gel. Shake well and use every day. It is an amazing product. I was going crazy because I lost so much hair, but this helped me. I hope you all have the same results! note: some of you are going to ask if you can use bottled aloe vera gel, and although I have tried it a couple of times it really does not compare to the real thing. I strongly advise that if you are going to use bottled aloe vera gel please please buy the 100% natural one. It needs to be clear. Not green or any other color. Buy the most natural one you can find.

Changing a shampoo might not be the permanent cure. Please find out the root cause. Whether you suffer from any hormonal disease, calcium deficiency etc. Also try to analyze your skin type. A good oil which suits your skin type might be of much help. Also try to consume some good antioxidant herbs like amla and shatavari.

I am losing my hairs quickly and by using different shampoo they are getting rough and I don't know what to do?

Function of shampoo is to clean the scalp. Dryness of hair is the indication that the hair is lacking with certain minerals. Oiling 3 /week helps to condition the scalp. Hair fall will also reduce if you condition them properly. Hair is made up of minerals, protein and iron. Diet rich in proteins like sprouts, beans, nuts, soya helps to support the hair. Drink 3 lit of water/day. Green leafy vegetables support iron. Consult trichologist.

Some causes behind the dark circles are hereditary, aging, dry skin, prolonged crying, working for long hours in front of a computer, mental or physical stress, lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet. Take homoeopathic medicine Ferrum Phos 6X (3 tabs) twice a day for 15 days and revert. Follow the tips: *Get an adequate amount of sleep. *Drink at least 8 -10 glasses of water everyday. *Eat vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin A to prevent dark circles around eyes. *Avoid stress. *Gently massaging almond oil or olive oil around the eyes during nights can give great results in reducing the dark circles.

Hi, the condition you have described is called as'floaters. As such there is nothing wrong unless they create major problem in your vision. You can use homoeopathic eye drops - schwabe's cineraria maritima. Eat more of green vegeatbles, yellow fruits and veggies, nuts, flaxseeds, etc.

Folliculitis is an extremely common skin condition, one of the most common forms of bumps found in the genital area, caused by hair follicles that have become inflamed, often leading to a bacterial or fungal infection. It begins as small red bumps or whiteheads and develops into infected, crusty sores. Cause: Folliculitis is caused by sweat or friction from clothing that blocks a hair follicle on or around the vagina. The resulting bumps may become infected. Cure: Folliculitis usually heals on its own in approximately two weeks. If it is a small, singular bump, it can be treated by placing a warm compress on the area three times a day. A saltwater solution may offer relief. If there are multiple bumps, if they recur, or if a bump doesn't heal, a trip to the doctor for an incision, drainage, and antibiotic or anti-fungal may be required.

I feel dizziness sometime when I expose myself to sunlight. What it can be, please help me out.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
As it warms up outdoors, the body keeps from overheating through two mechanisms: by increasing blood flow to the skin and by sweating. The increased blood flow to the skin brings warmth from our core to the skin surface, which allows heat to dissipate. If this doesn’t do the trick, the sweat glands are activated and we begin to perspire. Sweating increases heat loss from the skin through the process of evaporation. Both of these cooling mechanisms can lead to dehydration, if done to excess. And common symptoms of dehydration include lightheadedness, dizziness and fatigue.

According to Paul Pitchford's "Healing with Whole Foods" and Janet Zand's, Allan N. Spreen's and James B. LaValle's "Smart Medicine for Healthier Living," a high-fat, high-salt diet damages kidneys, creating acidic blood, which leads to hair loss. A diet low in vitamins can also lead to hair loss caused by vitamin deficiency. Hormonal imbalance caused by pregnancy, menopause or birth control pills is also a leading cause of hair loss in women.
