Once i was playing carrom i remember my hands were shaking and my heart was beating and i was calming myself after this incident i startd concentrating on my heart and trying to stop it. Now i know that was heart's fast beating but i want my subconcious to accept it and want to come out of it.

Hi, It seems to be more of anxiety rather than cardiac complaint. Better visit a nearby doctor or share more details of your whole case o know the cause and the diagnosis of your condition. Here are few asanas which will help you in reducing the anxiety problem. -Sit in the meditation position (cross-legged or heel seat) and put the hands in the lap. The back is straight and the belly relaxed. Stop one minute every thought. Then remain in meditation, thoughts can come and go as they please. All feelings of anger, fear and grief appear and dissolve by themselves. -Dhanurasana: Lie on your stomach with your feet hip-width apart and your arms by the side of your body. Fold your knees and hold your ankles. Breathing in, lift your chest off the ground and pull your legs up and back. Look straight ahead Keep the pose stable while paying attention to your breath. Your body is now taut as a bow. Continue to take long deep breaths as you relax in this pose. But don’t get carried away! Do not overdo the stretch. After 15 -20 seconds, as you exhale, gently bring your legs and chest to the ground. Release the ankles and relax. -Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. (The mind and body are deeply connected. If the mind is occupied by thoughts and worries then the shavasana will be unsuccessful. Therefore one has to acquire the stability of the mind along with the stability of the body.) Anuloma involves inhaling through both nostrils together and exhaling each breath alternately between the left and right nostrils. The thumb of the right hand is used to manipulate the right nostril, while the pinky and ring finger are used to control the left nostril. There are many other poses of yoga like Balasan, Setu Bandha Sarvangasan, Uttanasan, Garudasan, Savasana, Triconasana, Viprita Karani, Marjaryasana, Dhyana, Bhujangasana, Anulom-Vilum, Pranayam, etc. Another stress-buster can be getting involved in any of your hobbies (may be a childhood hobby which you used to enjoy a lot!) - dancing, singing, painting, listening to soothing music, playing musical instruments, etc. (Believe me, you would really enjoy doing this alone as well or may be with your friends, kids). Medication: Take Bakson’s Calm Aid tablet/ 1 tablet daily once for 4 weeks. And do practice breathing exercises (Pranayam, Anulom-Vilum) and meditation.

You can take a teaspoon syrup two to three times a day, there are many cough syrups for dry cough over the counter.

30 year old male, suffering from choking during sleep and snoring such a loud sound which can be listen from 500mt or even more.

Hello, follow the below home remedy to reduce snoring :- 1. Olive oil - Being a strong anti-inflammatory agent, olive oil eases the tissues all along the respiratory passages, reducing the swelling to provide a clear passage for air. It can also reduce soreness. Use this remedy regularly to also lessen the vibrations in the throat and stop snoring. Take two or three sips of olive oil before going to bed daily. Combine one-half teaspoon each of olive oil and honey. Consume it daily before going to bed. 2. Cardamom - Cardamom is an expectorant and decongestant, making it effective for opening up blocked nasal passages. Free air passage will result in less snoring. Add one-half teaspoon of cardamom powder to a glass of warm water. Drink it 30 minutes before going to bed. Do this daily to gradually reduce your snoring.

I am 21 years old male. I twisted my ankle today in the morning while playing football. The ankle joint has now got swollen and I am having pain while walking. I live in my hostel room which is at third floor. What should I do for treating this injury?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. We will have to rule out any bony injury in your ankle and for that you need to get your ankle x ray ( ap & lateral views) because management changes if there is a bony injury. Till the time x ray is done: - please elevate your limb over pillow so that swelling decreases - intensive ice packs should be done ( 3-4 times in a day ) to keep swelling down - compression with crepe bandage should be given you can take otc analgesic which suits you like paracetamol, ibuprofen etc. Kindly send me your x rays as soon as possible so that I can advise you regarding further treatment measures. Also avoid putting weight on affected ankle till the time x rays rule out a bony injury, also ligament injuries around the ankle needs to be taken seriously, so proper management is required in either case. After viral fever having pain in knee and lower back and also both feet are burning in the night?

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Do tepid sponging if it's high grade fever above 103. Drink plenty of liquids. Take adequate rest. Take over the counter medicine for fever. Consult with more details.

I am not having a good penis it is really small so how can I increase its size without any side effects my count is normal.

Only qualified doctor can draw the line between the small and normal size of the penis. Length varies from 3.5 to 5inches or width of 1.5 inch depending on resting or erected stage. Variation also possible as per age and constitution. Some time size may hide in the pubic fat also. Clinical incidence of small penis rare. Application of medicated oil showed benefit in few cases. Length and size of the penis having minimum role in satisfying the partner bec only lower part vagina is sensitive for sexual pleasure.

Lybrate-user when you know that it is bad for your health then why do you want to do that. See anything done in moderation is not harmful but excess is definitely harmful. No one can ensure that you will not have diabetes. You have to take care of yourself. Remember an age old saying" it's not like that diabetes runs in family, it is more that no one runs in the family" hope this clears my point. So do exercise daily.

What are the symptoms of dengue and what precautions should be taken to remain away from this disease.

Hi, Dengue fever, also known as breakbone fever, is a mosquito-borne tropical disease caused by the dengue virus. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash that is similar to measles. In a small proportion of cases, the disease develops into the life-threatening dengue hemorrhagic fever, resulting in bleeding, low levels of blood platelets and blood plasma leakage, or into dengue shock syndrome, where dangerously low blood pressure occurs. Dengue is transmitted by several species of mosquito within the genus Aedes, principally A. aegypti. Prevention: There is no vaccine to prevent dengue fever, but in homoeopathy, there is preventive medicine for dengue. The best way to prevent the disease is to prevent bites by infected mosquitoes, particularly if you are living in or traveling to a tropical area. This involves protecting yourself and making efforts to keep the mosquito population down. To protect yourself: Stay away from heavily populated residential areas, if possible. Use mosquito repellents, even indoors. When outdoors, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants tucked into socks. When indoors, use air conditioning if available. Make sure window and door screens are secure and free of holes. If sleeping areas are not screened or air conditioned, use mosquito nets. If you have symptoms of dengue, speak to your doctor. To reduce the mosquito population, get rid of places where mosquitoes can breed. These include old tires, cans, or flower pots that collect rain. Regularly change the water in outdoor bird baths and pets' water dishes. Medication: Take Eupatorium Perf. 200/ twice daily for 1 week as a preventive to all the family members.

Hello. I feel that you should consult a physician first for your headache and dizziness issues. You need to get your blood pressure and systemic status evaluated by the physician. If concluded normal by the physician, it would be a good idea to get your eyes evaluated by an eye specialist. Do not delay it further if your symptoms have been there since a month now. Take care. Home Remedy- Soak 10 almonds over night in water. On the next day, peel off the skin, and blend the almonds in a blender with 1 cup of cow hot milk (or crush them in hot cow milk) and add a little bit of saffron, ginger and cardamon to it. Hye Thanks for the query. You need to continue medication. Also remember medication will be helpful only if diet is also taken care of. Without that you will keep on getting a relapse of deficiency. Vitamin B-12 is mostly available only in animal foods: meat, fish, poultry, eggs, and dairy products. You can also get this important nutrient in some nutritional yeasts, as well as from fortified cereals and soy milk. Vegans need to take a vitamin-B supplement daily. You can add fermented foods like idli or dosa or sprouts to improve Vitamin B12 in your diet too. Dairy like curd or buttermilk are helpful in improving the gut bacteria as they help too.

Its depends on how much diabetes you hve. If your diabetes is in control than you can hve elaichi banana. Not every day but yes once in a week. Hve papaya, apple. Cut fruits are good.
