Hair oil and shampoo are helpful to condition the scalp. Hair roots are situated inside the scalp and they get nutrition through blood. Hair is made up of minerals, protein and iron. Diet rich in protein like sprouts, beans, paneer, soya is good for hair. Green leafy vegetables are good source of iron. Drinking 3 lit of water/day is good for hair. Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week. Consult trichologist for further treatment.

Right jaw and right side above eyes paining how to avoid paining any tablet or home remedies.

Right jaw and right side above eyes paining how to avoid paining any tablet or home remedies.
In my humble opinion you should not self medicate without knowing the exact origin of pain. Taking medicines blindly will cause more harm than good. You should first get checked by your dentist to evaluate whether the pain is linked to any dental problem or not. If not then you should consult an Ophthalmologist (eye specialist) or where the dentist refers you. Hope this helps.

Hi. Let me you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent which is called 'Hairloss' rather and leads to bald areas of smooth and shiny surface. In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up which subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or hairloss- hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger any other underlying diseases, etc. Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smooking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day and Badiaga 200/ twice a day - both for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Anti-Dandruff shampoo and Anti-Dandruff oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness).

Ways to Cope With Sexual Weakness

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Ways to Cope With Sexual Weakness

Lack of guidance on such deep subjects can lead to an addiction which can take a physical toll on the patient in the form sexual weakness. The person suffering from this condition will harbour unrealistic expectations of one's body. This is especially true for people who do not indulge in sex with a partner, in a normal manner. It can also occur due to heightened sexual activity and stimulation by watching too much of pornography or adult movies.

So how can a patient cope with sexual weakness? Following are a few tips:

  1. Psychological Conditioning: A person suffering from sexual weakness is in need of proper psychological therapy that will aim at unravelling any kind of deep rooted fear and anxiety that may be caused by trauma or shame inducing incidents. The therapy will aim at changing the mindset of the patient with a series of sessions where cognitive behavioural therapy will be practiced. This therapy will aim at helping the patient overcome addiction so that he or she can explore a normal sexual relationship with one partner. Also, the psychologist or psychiatrist will aim at reducing the anxiety and fatigue that the patient will most likely be feeling due to excessive sexual weakness.
  2. Medication: The doctor may prescribe medicines that will repair the damage caused due to excessive masturbation. This medication will also help in preventing any further complications that may come about due to the damage. Penile dysfunction, adrenal issues, prostate problems and others will be fixed with the help of proper medicines. The doctors may also prescribe medication to increase the sperm count and other supplements that give strength and vitality during normal intercourse.
  3. Breathing Exercises: The patient may also be asked to practice regular breathing exercises so as to avoid the harmful effects of sexual weakness like premature ejaculation. The patient may also need to make lifestyle changes in order to gain some weight to cope with the excessive energy that has been spent which may also have led to weight loss.
  4. Medical Problems: The doctor can also conduct various lab tests and X-rays in order to find out if there are any thyroid disorders or heart disease in the body of the patient. Accordingly, a method of treatment will be put forth. Also, the doctor can prescribe medication for patients who have experienced any hormonal imbalances due to this problem.

Ensuring that a patient manages to overcome sexual weakness is a matter of adhering to a healthy diet and lifestyle where one maintains one sexual partner at a time and enjoys sex in moderation. Other hobbies can distract the mind from constant sexual activity.

What about green tea. Is it effective for weight loss. If I take this with little honey will it be ok?
1. There is no scientific evidence to show that green tea reduces weight. It is just a myth. 2. Honey is just sugar for the body. It will add more weight. 3. Simply have more plain water. 4. Eat simple diet with fruits and salads 5. Reduce all fried stuff like parathas and puris etc 6. Cut out Colas and juices 7. Do intensive exercise regularly. 8. There is no shortcut to weight loss. 9. But Fitness and health is a life long journey... enjoy it. 10. Aim for Fitness. Weight loss will be the side effect.

Managing Stress Can Help Manage Diabetes And Heart Disease

Homeopath, Delhi
Managing Stress Can Help Manage Diabetes And Heart Disease

Stress is the new-age disease, which though not a disease in itself, leaves its effect on the entire health of a person, both physical and psychological. Diseases which are extremely common today were not as common some decades ago. The constantly changing lifestyle where there is no demarcation between work and home, the to-do list is neverending, multiple responsibilities, etc., puts a constant pressure on a person. People switch roles on the go and keep performing, and that takes a toll on even the best task-masters.

Diabetes and heart disease definitely have an underlying physiological connection, but outlined is the overall picture.

  1. Inflammation is the body’s most common way to respond to anything – including infection and trauma. This is, however, acute and passes away with the infection or trauma.

  2. On the other hand, chronic inflammation is the bigger culprit. This induces changes at a genetic level in the immunity system, producing more immune cells than normally required for a body. The body is in a constant state of fight, which is not required.

  3. This not just alters the physiology, but also the way a person behaves, thereby adding to issues like depression, anxiety, etc.

  4. Diabetes is seen as a result of chronic inflammation, where the body’s ability to respond is reduced. This increases insulin resistance, leading to higher sugar levels.

  5. Similarly, heart disease is also caused by chronic inflammation. Both these are compounded by the changing diet patterns, sedentary lifestyle, and smoking and alcohol abuse.

While both diabetes and heart disease cannot be completely prevented, stress management will definitely help in reducing the onset of these as well as in reducing their severity and complications where possible. The following measures would be very helpful.

  1. If you are at risk for either of these, take a step back and evaluate.

  2. If you are obese, make sure the target weight is achieved with proper planning and supervision of exercise and diet control.

  3. From then on, it is a constant maintenance phase, requiring an altered lifestyle.

  4. Quit smoking and alcohol. If you think it is not possible, reduce the addictions significantly. Smoking, in particular, causes damage to multiple organs and is best avoided.

  5. Monitor your blood sugar and cholesterol levels. If they are beyond acceptable limits, they need to be brought under control aggressively.

  6. Incorporate dietary changes by increasing fiber, reduced meat and reducing fatty/processed/sugary foods. Include supplements like omega-3 fatty acids in your diet. Also, spending quality time with family and friends is also helpful.

  7. Exercise in any form should be a part of daily regimen. Take up enjoyable activities like Sports of ur choice/ dance /zumba/ swimming etc.

  8. Other stress management measures like

    • Meditation: Spending even a few minutes in meditation can restore your calm and inner peace. Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health.

    • Cultivating Hobbies: Indulging in a hobby can be a great way to calm an overactive mind. It helps you take a break from your busy, stressful life and clear your mental plate. So, just rekindle an old interesting hobby or cultivate a new one to lift your spirits and tune into the real you.

    • Yoga: Yoga brings together physical and mental disciplines that may help you achieve peacefulness of body and mind. This can help you relax and manage stress and anxiety.

    • Music Therapy: Music Therapy uses music to promote healing and improve one’s overall emotional well-being. This may include listening to music, playing a musical instrument, singing along to music, and using guided imagery with music. Music stimulates the production of opiates and endorphins, the “feel good” hormones in our bodies. This stimulation can result in relaxation of mind and body.

    • Herbal Remedies: Herbs can also play a fundamental role in a stress management program. Herbs can facilitate a dramatic change in the quality of life experienced by anyone under stress.

    • Spending quality time with family: Having a chat with family members could help reduce your stress levels. Young girls benefit from a boost in the feel-good hormone oxytocin after talking on the phone with their mothers – and it seems logical that the effect may last as you get older. Talk about your worries with anyone you have a close relationship with – if not your mother then your partner, for instance – to help you feel more at ease.

Controlling stress can help prolong the onset of these and also delay or reduce complications. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Homeopath.

I have so many black heads and pimples on my shoulder and back side. What should I do?

I have so many black heads and pimples on my shoulder and back side. What should I do?
Hello, Use Witch Hazel cream of Medisynth Brand. Witch hazel is great for cleansing your skin of blackheads. Use a cotton ball and dab some on your face daily to help remedy a breakout of blackheads. Home remedy:- 1. A mashed tomato paste applied to the face for 20 minutes will help reduce the appearance of blackheads while pulling the impurities out of the skin. Rinse off with warm water. 2. Honey is one of the best ways to remove blackheads from your skin, and it can even help prevent future breakouts. The sticky texture will pull the impurities from your skin, while it is tightening your skin and closing the pores off from getting additional dirt in them. 3. Place a bit of raw, grated potato on your face for 20 minutes daily to remove already formed blackheads. Rinse off with warm water. Take care.

I wanna loose weight. I have gained weight since last few months. I feel hungry a lot.

B.Sc. - Dietitics / Nutrition, Nutrition Certification,Registered Dietitian
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Delhi
I wanna loose weight. I have gained weight since last few months. I feel hungry a lot.
Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.
