hope it's been diagnosed after MRI of lower spine. if not please get an MRI of LS spine done to rule out other causes of pain in that area. Also stretch exercise and physiotherapy would help you.

Coronary Artery Disease -  Know the Primary Signs!

Your heart is the most important and vital organ of all and regulates the flow of heart to all parts of the body. Thus, the valves and the arteries which take the blood to your heart are also an important component in ensuring that the circulation is constant. Thus, any hindrance to this process will put a lot of pressure on your heart and lead to more serious problems in the long run. Coronary artery disease is one such problem and can seriously put the health of your heart at risk.

What is coronary heart disease?
Coronary arteries are very important blood vessels, which carry nutrients, blood and oxygen to your heart. If the level of bad cholesterol is high in your blood, it will start leaving deposits on the walls of the arteries which are commonly known as plaque. This plaque will start building up over time causing blockage of the arteries and disrupting proper blood flow. Excessive build up of the plaque may then rupture the lining of the plaque. This will then induce blood clotting and further prevent the normal flow of blood.

Symptoms
Primary symptoms may include

  1. Shortness of breath: This may occur while you are exercising or performing activities which are mildly exerting.
  2. Heart beats very hard and fast: Your heart may beat very hard and fast, especially when doing everyday activities such as climbing stairs or walking for a prolonged distance.
  3. Angina or chest pain: You may experience pain in your chest as if someone was pressing against it with a lot of force. Angina is also triggered due to stressful activities or even emotional stress. It usually occurs on the left or the middle of the chest and may even be felt in the back, arms, and neck.
  4. Heart attack: Heart attacks are the most common and the most serious complications of coronary heart disease. You would feel extreme pain, akin to crushing on your chest, shoulder, or arm. It may even be accompanied by jaw pain, and sweatiness.

Treatment
Non invasive forms of treatment are always preferable rather than invasive surgeries or procedures to treat coronary heart disease, especially where the risk of serious complications such as heart attack are still on the lower side. Some of the treatments used for coronary heart disease are as follows:

  1. Making lifestyle changes: Quit smoking, reduce alcohol consumption along with consumption of regulated diet will automatically start cleaning plaque that has built up within the arteries. Losing weight also tends to help.
  2. Medications: Special medications can take care of cases wherein the deposits are still lesser and the plaque buildup can be removed without the requirement of extensive surgery. Anti-cholesterol medications are one example of this.
  3. Surgical procedures: These are usually employed when the blockage is severe and cannot be corrected by the conventional methods mentioned above. Some of the procedures are angioplasty, stent replacement, as well as coronary artery bypass surgery. 1. Take bland diet, avoid oily, spicy, fried and junk food, 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Take one tablet of meftal spas ds as and when required after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily 4. Take one tablet of rantac150 mg twice daily before food 5. Consult, if no relief.

Have you got stone chemical analysis done? than accordingly suggestion b given. In general you need to drink 3 to 4 litres of water daily to prevent stone formation. Get immidiate treatment of any infection.

The principal symptoms of dengue are: High fever and at least two of the following: Severe headache/Severe eye pain (behind eyes) Joint pain/Muscle and/or bone pain Rash or Mild bleeding manifestation (e. G, nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: Severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting Red spots or patches on the skin Bleeding from nose or gums Vomiting blood Black, tarry stools (feces, excrement) Drowsiness or irritability Pale, cold, or clammy skin Difficulty breathing There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. Persons who think they have dengue should use analgesics (pain relievers) with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc. To prevent dehydration. Preventing dengue fever: the best way to prevent the disease is to prevent bites by infected mosquitoes.Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. Use mosquito repellents, even indoors.

Dear, anger and aggression are emotions. Anger comes when you become irritated. Irritation happens when you don't like something, or when something is repeated. As anger is an emotion, it should be vent out. You should be able to throw anger out instead of controlling it. But more perfect will be, know the frustrating situations and stop being emotional. If practiced properly, you will not get irritated at those circumstances at all. Those techniques are much easier to understand.

Respected Sirs, I am 73 years old and have been suffering from Laryngeal Problems for which I had to undergo the surgeries in 2012 and my Larynx has been removed from my body. Now the Tracheostomy Tube is being used for easy breathing system. I can not speak to others since audibility has been lost, the Sticky (white) Cough is being formed inside the tube as a consequence of that the breathing problem starts. Kindly favour me with your esteemed advice/suggestions to get rid of the breathing problem and how to revive my speaking ability at the fag end of my life. There are a number of options for speaking with a tracheostomy. The tube inserted into the tracheostomy can be plain or have an inflatable cuff. When the cuff is pumped up there is a greater seal inside the throat than with plain tubes. A tight seal can allow more air to enter the lungs, but also may prevent enough air from moving through the vocal folds. This makes speech quite difficult. People with a plain tube or who may only need the cuff inflated at certain times may get enough air for speech. They may also be able to produce speech by blocking the tube with their fingers or hand. Then the person can breathe through their mouth and nose and vibrate the vocal folds as they did before surgery. These methods do not work for all people. Covering the tube may cause more resistance to breathing that some people can't handle. Bacteria from the hand or fingers may cause infection, a particularly serious situation for people with swallowing problems. Some people may not get enough air for speech without blocking the tube but may not have the awareness, muscle movement, or muscle tone to block the tube well.

Hello, males tend to be less careful about their skin than females. If you take care of your skin, you can ofcourse get soft and healthy skin. -cleanse your skin with rose water -after some time, wash with a nice face wash, whichever you like. -moisturise your skin if it is normal to dry. -scrub you face once in a while. Do this once you are back from work, everyday. In the morning, -wash your face with face wash. -put sun screen with spf 15 to 30. -cover your face with handkerchief or scarf, wear a cap, wear sun glasses/or simplywear a helmet.

Dear Bhawan, It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Most diet fails because they are low calorie and low fat. Instead of correcting metabolism, they make you feel low energy or makes you feel excessively hungry. If you are doing regular exercise, it will increase your fitness but it does not reduce weight much. I am sure you did not gain this much weight suddenly but over a period of time. To achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If you have tried this in past or if it does not work, then approach us for weightloss package of 6 months by lifestyle modification - combination of nutritional plan, stress management, exercise prescription for your current fitness level and sleep improvement, (if required). 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Hi thanks for asking your query headaches are due to mainly irregularity in meals, improper metabolism, mental and physical stress, viewing of tv for long periods, reading with insufficient light, sleeplessness, etc. So try to avoid triggering factors 1) include cooked vegetables without oil in your diet 2) vegetable juices and soup, fruits and fruit juices including apple, mango. 3) highly-fruit based diet for a day or two can relieve pain. 4) grapes, lemons, cabbage juice are especially important. 5) have rice, salad and buttermilk in your diet thanku.

If you don?t have too much time on your hands, you can just practice Surya Namaskar for 10-20 times each day. Trikonasana or triangle pose is great way to achieve good height and body balance. The parivrittatrikosana or reverse triangle pose also helps in gaining height. Vrikshasana or tree pose help in getting balance and harmony. Tree pose also helps to stretch the muscles of the body. You can also practice breathing and meditation to calm your mind and de-stress. Since a mind free of depression and stress helps in proper growth.
