Tongue cleaning is as important as brushing and flossing. Use of a proper tongue scraper every morning will remove tongue plaque and freshen your breath.

Dear lybrate user, a gap of 1-2 mm can be easily corrected. You have following treatment options:- 1) orthodontic treatment (braces) 2) direct veneering (composite) 3) indirect veneering/ laminates as of the charges are concerned, it depends upon the doctor you are visiting.

Bad breath due to gum infection or food accumulation. Get professional cleaning done by dentist. Brush twice, floss your teeth, get your cavities filled if you have any one. Clean your tounge also daily. Do not have food which has more odour like garlic and raw onions.

How I stop my teeth pain because I choose every time different toothpaste and my. Teeth gonna pain again so how I prevent my pain.

BDS
Dentist, Lucknow
Teeth pain may be due to various reasons like infection, sensitivity or trauma. If your teeth is decayed it is better to get it filled or treated by a dentist. If you are opting for root canal treatment do not forget to get a crown on the effected tooth. If you want to go for only medicinal treatment so let me tell you only medicine are not going to be very effective untill you get this treated by a dentist.

General Physician,
Halitosis ( bad breath ) is the third most common reason that people seek dental care (after tooth decay and gum disease). The most common cause of bad breath is poor dental hygiene. As bacteria break down particles of food, sulfur compounds are produced that cause odor.Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. Bacteria cause the formation of toxins to form, which irritate the gums. If gum disease continues untreated, it can damage the gums and jawbone

Sometimes I feel extreme pain in my teeth, left downside. I tried some toothpaste, some special tooth powder also. But I didn't get any result. Please help me in this regard.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
The type of treatment you have for toothache will depend on the cause of the pain, so your dentist will examine your mouth and may carry out an X-ray to try to identify the problem. •If your toothache is caused by tooth decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If your toothache is caused by a loose or broken filling, the filling will be taken out, any decay will be removed and a new filling put in place. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection. •If your toothache can't be treated using these methods, or if your tooth is impacted (wedged between another tooth and your jaw), it may need to be removed.

Even after 3 months of tooth filling, I have pain and sensitivity. I repeatedly consulted my doc, who is just shooing me away with pain killers and antibiotics. Please help.

BDS
Dentist, Kolar
Get an x ray done to get a clear picture of wt has happened beneath the filling n hw deep your filling is. Deep filling cause pulp irritation n in the long run damage of pulp which inturn causes pain. Antibiotics do not solve your problem for long.

Vigorous brushing with a hard bristled toothbrush can lead to gums becoming weak and result in sensitivity. I recommend to use ultra-soft toothbrush to avoid trauma from faulty brushing.Visit your dentist and learn the proper brushing techniques.

Loose tooth would fall. If it's moving vigorously get it removed. If it's moving slightly it can be splinted adjacent teeth.

Yellow plaque is due to food getting trapped in the tooth crevices and later getting calcified. It can be removed and prevented by regular rinsing after meals. For faster result you can use a mouthwash and an effective toothpaste.

Avoid Aspirin

Your friends mean well when they tell you to put aspirin on your sore gums. But don’t listen to this old wives’ tale. Never put aspirin directly on your gums. Yes, it might provide some temporary relief. But aspirin is a highly caustic chemical, and it is irritating to the gum tissue. It could cause a fairly serious acid burn.
