I am 5'2" in height girl. I have been losing weight without any reason hence, I am just looking much shorter than my real height. Is there any way to put gain and increase height? I am 19 years old and I doing lots of exercises to gain my height. I don't want any surgery or anything but is there any supplements which will really work on me? I have been doing yoga from six months and I don't notice a single inch of my body growing though I am enjoying the other results of yoga. Still. Is there any medicine which will at least boost my height? Height gives confidence. I am pursuing Civil Engineering and I can't just wear Heels to everyplace I go. So please any suggestion? 1. Start cardiovascular exercises like running, jogging, cycling etc. 2. Avoid carbohydrates and fats. 3. Avoid processed and junk foods. 4. Start exercising. Both body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, squats and weight training in the gym is helpful. 5. Stay hydrated. 6. Have a light dinner. 7. Evening walk is always recommended. 8. Green veggies complete your nutrient requirements. 9. Consume all types of protein both from veg and non veg sources. 10. Sleep well.

You take high calorie n high protein diet. Don't skip breakfast. With breakfast you drink 1 glass of milk n 2 anjeer n 2 almonds. Take 4-5 meals in a day in frequent intervals.

I am 27 year old male and I am a pharmacist. I am suffering from ringworm infection from last 2 years on my right hip (since december 2012), I got this infection from my younger brother (his got relief from it with in 2-5monts, now he is ok). I have taken lots of medicine since 2 years, my doctor prescribed me ketoconazole cream + beclomethasone, neomycin, clotrimazole cream + 1tab fluconazole + some antihistamine drug. Some doctor prescribed me terbinafin also. When I take fluconazole tablet with appling cream also I got relief from it for 10 to 15 days, but with continue application of creams, it again occurs, some one suggest me to use clotimazole dusting powder, it give me relief but not give cure and thi again occurs. When I use combination of 3 creams (ketoconazole cream + beclomethasone, neomycin, clotrimazole cream + clobetasol, nomycin, miconazole cream) I got relief when I apply this combination. But during application of this combination it not appear & when I stop it again occurs. Please suggest me for resistant ringworm infection, which is initially half ring and now it is dotted in a small area which also looks like ring type with itching. Thanks

Do not use combination creams as they have steroid in them which does not cure the fungus but gives temporary relief. Use nizral cream twice a day on the itchy areas for 4 weeks regularly. Wear light loose breathable fabric like cotton to avoid sweating and aggravation of fungus.

i suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating ......

This is usually because they have a high body metabolism rate which doesn’t allow fat to accumulate, resulting in faster burning of calories. Fortunately, there are several tips to gain weight, which are not only effective, but healthy as well. How to increase weight and stay healthy If you are attempting to increase your weight, it is important to remember that simply eating anything at all will not help. Incorrect eating habits might not only affect your body functioning, but could also have other undesired effects on you. This is why it is important to eat correctly, while keeping track of your daily activities. Listed below are some simple and effective tips to gain weight. Put together a schedule Like most other things, it is essential to put together a detailed and achievable schedule that will help you gain the numbers you want. For this you will need to measure the different parts of your body like thighs, waist, hips, stomach etc. So that you can keep track of your progress. 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Hi the best diet for anyone who is pursuing cardiovascular activities is one which comprises more amount of protein and less carbohydrates and fats. Consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg sources throughout the day. Try to consume least amount of simple carbohydrates which mainly comes from sweet and processed foods. Complex carbohydrates like brown rice, brown bread and oats are good. And avoid any types of fats during the day. Extra virgin olive oil is an exception but that should be consumed during the day time only. And there is no such health benefits difference between morning and evening jog. Both provide you the same benefits. Do what you feel comfortable.

Hi to increase weight you should improve your digestive system. By digesting your indigested food with the help of remedy and medicines will ultimately increase your appetite and digestive system. Take chitrakadi vati after meal. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day. Take banana milk shake. Drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products. Like butter. Ghee.

I will suggest you to eat food with high fiber content like green leafy vegetables and can also eat bananas at bedtime and if necessary take 10 ml of syp cremaffin at night.

If you are taking a thyroid hormone replacement drug like levothyroxine (Synthroid, Levoxyl, Levothroid, Unithroid, Tirosint), liothyronine/T3 (Cytomel, compounded), or natural desiccated thyroid drugs (Armour, Nature-throid), you may be making one of these common mistakes.

Not Taking Your Medication at All

Some patients decide, without their doctor's approval, to go off thyroid medications entirely.This can be dangerous if you have a surgically removed or radioactive ablated thyroid, or if your thyroid is atrophied or underactive due to Hashimoto's disease. Read more about patients who refuse to take their thyroid medication.

Inconsistency in How You Take Your Medication

One of the keys to success with thyroid medication is consistency. That means, taking your prescribed dosage, daily, at the same time each day. You also want to be consistent about other issues, such as whether you take your medication with or without food, and before or after starting/stopping a high-fiber diet.

Missing Doses of Thyroid Medication

If you have trouble remembering to take your thyroid medication, you are not alone. Some people find it difficult to get into a routine of taking thyroid medication daily, and at the same time each day. Here are ten creative ways to remember to take your thyroid pill.

Taking Generic Levothyroxine

For some patients, the variation in consistency from one maker of generic levothyroxine to another can have a negative impact on proper thyroid replacement.
If you have this experience, you may want to ask your doctor about writing a "dispense as written/no substitutions" prescription for a brand name levothyroxine.

Drinking Coffee With Your Thyroid Medication

Coffee can interfere with the absorption of your thyroid medication. So if you want to drink your morning coffee, take your medication, and wait at least an hour before drinking coffee. (Note: the levothyroxine drug Tirosint, a liquid-cap form, appears to be unaffected by coffee, and may be able to be taken together.)

Not Considering Taking Your Thyroid Medication at Night

If you must have your coffee first thing, or you need to eat in the morning, or take calcium and iron supplements in the morning, you may want to discuss with your doctor whether to take your thyroid medication at bedtime. This can help aid in effective absorption of your medications.

Taking Calcium or Calcium-Rich Foods Too Close to Your Thyroid Medication

Be careful about taking calcium supplements, calcium-fortified orange juice, and high-calcium foods (i.E, Greek yogurt) at the same time as thyroid hormone. Allow at least 2 to 3 hours apart from your thyroid medication, so that absorption is not impaired.

Eating High-Fiber Foods or Taking Fiber Supplements Too Close to Your Thyroid Medication

Be careful about eating high-fiber foods, or taking fiber supplements, with your thyroid medication. The fiber can impair the absorption of your thyroid medication.

Taking Thyroid Medication Too Close to Certain Medications

You need to be careful about taking thyroid medications along with other medications. For example, you should not take antacids within two hours of thyroid hormone. Allow at least two to three hours between your thyroid medication and antacids, so absorption is not affected. Watch for interactions with antidepressants and thyroid hormone. Zoloft, Paxil and Prozac, for example, can make thyroid medications more or less effective, and may mean you need a dosage change in your thyroid medication. Proton pump inhibitor drugs like esomeprazole and omeprazole -- which are taken to combat stomach acid -- can also impair absorption of thyroid medication.

Not Taking Thyroid Medication While Pregnant or Breastfeeding

Some women mistakenly think that thyroid hormone drugs are dangerous to a baby during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The opposite is actually true. Taking the appropriate dose of thyroid medication is essential for a health pregnancy and baby. Don't stop taking thyroid hormone when you're pregnant or breastfeeding
Eating Too Close to the Time You Take Your Thyroid Medication

Ideally, you should take your thyroid medication in the morning, and wait an hour before eating. (Conversely, if you absolutely must eat, make sure you do this consistently, and you should still should put three to four hours between your thyroid medication and iron, calcium and fiber-rich foods.)

Taking Estrogen Without Checking For and Adjusting Your Thyroid Hormone Dose

Women taking estrogen -- hormone replacement therapy, or in the birth contol pill -- may need to more thyroid replacement hormone. The reason? Estrogen increases the body's production of a protein that binds thyroid hormone to it, making it inactive.This can cause a need to increase the dosage level slightly, as there is no thyroid to compensate. After beginning any estrogen therapy, have thyroid levels tested to see if the estrogen is having an impact on thyroid function.

Not Knowing About Synthroid Allergenic Fillers

Synthroid tablets are made with two ingredients -- acacia and lactose that can trigger allergies in some people. Some people who have pollen allergies and hay fever -- especially to tree an d grass pollens -- may also have an allergy to acacia, which is found in Synthroid's formulations. Another ingredient in Synthroid is lactose, which can trigger symptoms in people with lactose intolerance -- the inability to digest lactose, a major sugar found in milk. For those patients with these allergies, the hypoallergenic, liquid-cap, drug Tirosint -- which has no fillers or dyes -- may be a better option.

Weight gain is muscle gain and not fat gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fruits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated.

take high protein and high calories diet.take egg ,omelette,whole pulses,paneer,boiled potatoes,milk jaggery,milk dates .do strach nd cardio exercise alternates days.take any sweet item after dinner.
