Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

You should keep your blood sugar controlled by means of dietary restrictions, exercise and medications. You may take vitamin b 12, b6, folic acid, pregabalin and nortriptyline with consultation of your doctor. This may prevent the recurrence but medicines and other things have to be continued. Unfortunately no permanent cure is available.

Question lacks details. Kindly inform when you had injury. Pain is in leg or knee. Leg pain after injury while playing football can be a ligament injury to knee/ ankle or leg stress. Apply ice. Local gel rest for 5 days. Inform ankle or knee injury.

- how it started and what aggrevates your pain, these points lack in your question - avoid any weight lighting - do contrast bath for 10 min, apply hand towel dipped in hot water, when it gets cooled immediately apply cold water having ice in it, do this for 10 min for 2- 3 times. Apply voilini after above procedure specially when going to sleep. If pain still persist after 3 days, consult physician and physiotherapist.

Masturbate causes muscle cramping in your thigh and back muscle that increases your back pain. Do a proper exercise and avoid long standing maintainance of similar posture. No such guideline regarding the frequency of masturbating.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are ways to keep your uric acid value in body to low levels. General recommendations are: - decreasing intake of red meat, alcohol, rice in your diet and other purine rich sources - also increase your water intake so that uric acid is excreted from body well. - keeping your weight to normal levels will also help you. - intake of fresh fruits, citrus fruits and cherries has been implicated in reducing uric acid values in the body as well. Nowadays there is a medication by the name of febuxostat which helps in lowering uric acid levels in body but kindly check out that it suits your body. Hi I have de quervian's tenosynovitis on my right hand. It's fine the whole day but it hurts in the night if I don't put on the wrist splint. Is this how it will have to be for the whole life? I have gone to a foctor who gave me some pain killers for a week and suggested complete rest of the hand for a week or so. That is not an option for me. Is there a way out of this other than a surgery?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. De quervain's tenosynovitis is inflammation of sheath of 1st extensor tendons due to which there is pain at the level of styloid process. The treatment depends upon the symptoms you are having, normally ice packs for local application, thumb spica splint for 3-4 weeks not only at night but all throughout, anti-inflammatory medication as per your suitability, local analgesic spray for application but no massage, ultrasonics and laser as physical therapy modalities are useful in many cases. But if it does not get better, then release is better, it is actually a daycare procedure which take about 8-10 minutes to do in ot under local anesthesia, so it is very safe procedure. Depending on whether your scoliotic curve is structural/postural exact treatment can be decided.You can do one arn hanging exercise but first consult a physio,get examined and then start.If the curve is postural,proper exercises can help.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital X RAYS of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.
