I keep taking ayurvedic weight loss medicines which they say does not have side effects.Could they be harming? should i believe them? i take from ADINATH pharmacy. They have given some result but not a phenominal one.(i have hypothyroid.For which i take thyroxin 50 mg daily)

Just by taking some medicine, whatever it may be, it may / may not lose weight. If it looses then the moment medicines are stopped, the weight would come back and probably this time double the weight lost. The weight should be lost in healthy way by following the balanced diet - by eating every 3 hours in moderate amounts, a combination of more fibre, whole grains, Sprouts, legumes, salads, 3-4 cups green tea, have something every 3 hours in small portions, 1 fist dry fruits to have virgin fats, limit aerated & sugary beverages, junk foods, fast foods etc. Including more protein will build muscles - giving energy by burning extra fat and carbohydrates. Also you have to limit certain foods like all millets, all veg from cabbage family especially first 8 hours of the day since you take thyroxine, most of the fats except coconut & olive oil, eat more beans like lima beans, omega essential fatty acid rich foods etc. Along with that you take medicines and supplements to aid in losing stored fat by increasing BMR plus improving your lifestyle by incorporating some form of exercise like kapal bharti yoga, walking, jogging, cycling, dancing, aerobics etc

Hi fat is distributed all over the body and most of it comes to the belly. There is no food to reduce belly. You have to start doing exercises. Intensive exercises on a daily basis like aerobics or treadmill or cycling for 30-60 mins. Also cut down oily food and sugars from your diet. No parathas and puri and pakoras. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Drink more water. Aim for fitness and the belly fat will go.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control. Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. Avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Sugar. Milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Dont sleep immediately after taking meal.

The more you will try to crash your intake the metabolism will go low and you will not lose weight but in fact gain more fats too. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert. Here is a sample menu to help you understand the diet: Early Morning: Green tea (sugar less) Breakfast: non fried preparations/ whole wheat bread/ vegetable poha, upma, etc. / idli sambhar etc. Mid-Morning: Fruits (avoid the carbohydrate rich fruits like grapes, banana, custard apple and watermelon) Lunch: 2 dry chapatti or Boiled rice - 1 Cup + sabji 1 katori + dal or skimmed curd – 1 katori + salad 1 katori Evening Snacks: Tea / Coffee (1 tsp. Sugar) + high fiber bis. OR Sprouts 1 katori Dinner: 2 chapatti + vegetable 1 katori + skimmed buttermilk 1 glass + salad 1 katori. Start your meals with salads and buttermilk, and stop eating when you are just full.

To lose tummy fat you should avoid starchy and sugary food and black heads and neck black marks are due to insulin resistance. U caqn use high protein diet exm. Pannier, egg, chicken. Here are some diet tips 1. Eat high fibre food avoids eating food in simple sugar form 2. Eat fresh fruits instead of fruit juices. Fruits are good source of fibre except banana mango, chiku. 3. Try to avoid deep fried food and oil containing food. Control your fat consumption in your routine diet 4. Avoid bakery products, sweets. 5. Have plenty of water at least 3 lt/day 6. At least half hour walk/day. All are common things but for definite result you need individual diet and exercise schedule.

Don't worry. Approx a child is thrice his birth wt at the age of one year. Hence his wt should be around 9 kg. He is now around 8 kg. A little difference is acceptable. He is not grossly underweight. Don't worry.

For ideal body weight. World health organization who has defined bmi, body mass index. Its a special ratio of weight & height. Bmi should be within 18 to 25. Above 25, it will be over weighted. Your bmi is 22 you have ideal body, do not need to lose weight.
