Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. I am having trouble in sleeping. It is happening from last 8 days. I am also having some back pain. What should I do?

I am having trouble in sleeping. It is happening from last 8 days. I am also having some back pain. What should I do?
Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. Add ½ tsp of cinnamon powder and 1 tsp of honey with 1 cup of warm milk. Drink before going to bed. Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. Take 1 teaspoon each of brahmi and ashwagandha powder in 2 cups of water, boil and reduce it to one cup and drink it daily in the morning. Tips for back ache:: 1.Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 2.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag).

Hello this pain may be caused by certain activities. In order to get relief do hot fomentation 3 times a day & don't lift weight. Do some exercises which includes moving wrist & fingers through their normal ranges. Revert me after 7days.

Mr. It may be postural problem but you take some rest and ice pack to your lower back for 15 min than tell me the result.

I a suffering from pain in both my shoulders which starts from d neck ie nerves that come down frm both sides of head and d paun comes to both my hands. My elbow joints also pain. Cant do any work bcoz of d pain. Taking painkiler inj n tab everyday. Pl help.

Looks like there is some problem with the neck and not your shoulder. Better consult a physiotherapist, get properly assessed n den go for the treatment

That is strain so tk tens therapy and hot fermentation for few days if you working and avoid long standing. And do stretching pin daily routine.

There are a lot of cause of backach. Please consult a physiotherapist. After examining physio will teach you some exercises for your back. You can apply hot pack on your back for 10 mins. You can completely heal your musculoskeletal problems by physiotherapy.

Use a firm metress on your hard bed. Support your back d waist area with a folded soft bed sheet under it. While getting up in d morning turn on d side and getup. Sit straight support your back with small soft cushion avoid forward bending. Go to a physiotherapist to learn back strenthenig exs and do those.

A high uric acid level can be caused when your body either produces too much uric acid or your kidneys don't eliminate uric acid rapidly enough. A high uric acid level may cause increasingly frequent attacks of gout, or it may never cause problems. A high uric acid level may also cause some people to develop kidney stones or kidney failure. And some people with a high uric acid level also develop high blood pressure, heart disease or chronic kidney disease, but it's often unclear whether this is a direct cause or merely an early warning sign of these conditions. Factors that may cause a high uric acid level in your blood include: Diuretic medications (water pills),Drinking too much alcohol,Genetics (inherited tendencies),hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid),Immune-suppressing drugs,Niacin, or vitamin B-3, obesity,psoriasis, Purine-rich diet — organ meat, game meat, anchovies, herring, gravy, dried beans, driedpeas, mushrooms and other foods Renal insufficiency — inability of the kidneys to filter waste Tumor lysis syndrome — a rapid release of cells into the blood caused by certain cancers or by chemotherapy for those cancers,Also, you may be monitored for high uric acid levels when undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer. Avoid protein diets, avoid more milk products. bad habits , fast food/fat/oily,salty foods. Coffee, smoking, alcohol intake. Non-veg., take whole grain,oats,green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed. Take tab. Zyloric 100 mg once a day. Tab. Ulracet sos for pain in joints.

From last month my right shoulder is paining a lot when I lift any load why it is paining any issue is there?
Gentle massage over the affected part with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oil for 20 minutes followed by hot fomentation. It will relax the muscles and the veins of your affected part improving the blood supply to the organ and giving strength to it. Please avoid over-use of the part affected i. E. Lifting weight - pushing or pulling heavy objects. Give proper rest to the part - let it heal with the time. This will greatly help.

Eat fatty fish, like tuna, mackerel, and salmon foods fortified with vitamin d, like some dairy products, orange juice, soy foods that provide vitamin d= milk, and cereals cheese egg yolks to get vitamin d from food, fish is a good option. Six ounces of cooked salmon has more than 600 international units (iu). Eggs are a great source of vitamin d, with two large eggs providing about one-tenth of a daily dose of vitamin d. Soymilk is also an excellent option, with up to 300 ius per cup. Mushroom is the only vegetable which is a natural source of vitamin d. Follow this diet take care.

Back exercises. Many people go to physiotherapists with back pain. Here are two exercises that help to relieve pain and reduce stiffness in the back: •Dear, 1. Lie on your back with both of your legs straight. In this position, bring your left knee up close to your chest. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Return your leg to the straight position. Repeat with the right leg. •2. Stand up with your arms on your side. Bend to the left side while slowly sliding your left hand down your left leg. Come back up slowly and relax. Repeat with the right side of your body.

Muscle pain with running can be managed by simple measures at home. 1. Avoid running for few days till pain is relieved. 2. Apply cold pack on painful muscles four times a day for 10 mins each. 3. Take healthy diet with calcium supplements. Consume at least 2.5 litres of fluids in a day in form of water, juices, lemonade etc. 4. Avoid alcohol or smoking. 5. If you are on any medication like statins or diuretics consult with your physician as these drugs can cause muscle pain. 6. You can take simple analgesics like paracetamol if pain is severe and apply analgesic cream. 7. Do muscle stretching exercises daily and before running. 8. Once pain is decreased you can start running by gradually increasing the distance and speed. Wear good quality running shoes and avoid running on hard ground or treadmill. If problem persists consult again.

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.
