Hello . As you said you are having pain in rt hand and shoulder, it think you are having cervical spondylitis. What kinda job you do. Do you need to sit for long hours in front of computers? coz it might worsen your pain. Anyway please start with some oral painkillers like diclo for 7 days. Ice packing. Avoid lifting heavy weights with rt hand. Also avoid taking big pillows. Let me know if you tingling or numbness in your rt hand. Thanks and get well soon.

If I think you are suffering from ankylosing spondylitis. you can try indomethacin if you haven't. Nowadays tnf alpha inhibitors are also given for the same. Exercise is a must in these diseases.

Hello. Headache and back pain could be inter-related. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

I have a sharp stabbing pain in the lower back, just above the hip and bit to the left of the base of the spine. It is not the typical back pain we usually have if we workout too much or anything. This just came out of nowhere and it refuses to go away. If I do any excercises then it just aggravates the pain and refuses to respond to any balms/ointments. What is the reason for this back pain ?

Change food habites. Add in your food calcium vitamins minirales proteins milk end milk products etc Take simple veg foods. You take Ķeva orthocare1 capsule 30 minutes before lunch end 1 capsule before dinner. Massage Ķeva anti pain oil on knees. Do some arobeick excersices yoga will help you. Homeopathy is one of the most important and effective therapy for back pain. During an acute attack sleep with a pillow under the knees. Choose shoes that offer good support in the arch and have low, but not flat, heels. Prop up one foot on a box or low stool when you're standing for a long time. Use a chair that provides support for your back, or tuck a little pillow behind your lower back. Tips to improve balance/alignment/motion: lift your leg so your thigh is parallel to the ground while touching a wall. Hold it for five breaths. For alignment, move side to side while sitting on a balance ball. For motion, try moving forward and backward on the ball. Consult for homoeopathic treatment.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

There is definately no cure for ankylosing spondilitis but yes regular mobility exercises, stretching can reduce you pain and joint stifness to a great extent, so either consult a near by physiotherapist regularly or consult me for further guidence.

Extension Exercises  x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.   Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

you may be having obesity(over weight) 1.Do regular aerobic exercise like brisk walking/jogging/running/cycling/swimming for 1 hour daily 2.Reduce weight 3Control diet 4.Avoid sweets,sugar,oily,fatty, excess calorie/cholesterol,saturated fat and carbohydrate rich diet.
