Hi lybrate-user, The medication given by doc is appropriate, probably the infection has widespread so it may take some time. What you can additionally do is warm water saline rinse 3-4 times a day. Do not use any hot packs. As soon as the swelling reduces get the treatment done for the designated tooth which is causing trouble. That is the permanent treatment. I hope I could help you a bit.

Dear, it is usual to get some pain after gym exercise so apply ice for 20 mins after work out and it should go or reduce but if it persists for a long time then consult your doctor but do not take medication on your own otherwise you may get injury.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

First of all, you need to get an x ray done of the knee joints and other joints which are painful. Secondly, get your ra factor checked along with uric acid levels and esr. Consult a good ayurveda doctor as ayurveda provides very good treatment for such problems. Avoid eating curd, peas, excess tea/coffee, brinjal, rajmah and heavy fried food and maida items. Include methi, ginger, turmeric in your food. Garlic and onion should be used liberally in food daily.

What is cervical spondylitis? How this affect the blood circulation in our body? How can we take care of it?

This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help to reduce the pain and feel relaxed and comfortable. You shall also do hot water fermentation that would improve the blood circulation to the painful area and thereby the pain would be reduced. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain and also that would improve the cervical angle and improve the anatomical posture. The pain actually triggers due to nerve compression and that would definitely improve by wearing a cervical collar. CervicalSpondylosis / Spondylitis – Chronic condition with radiating pain Physiotherapy Treatment: You have to go for Intermittent Cervical Traction and also you can do Interferential Therapy. Please consult the near by therapist for quick relief. Since you have pain for more than 10 years it is suggestible to go for cervical muscle strengthening exercises and also to use cervical collar to improve the contour of your muscle texture and to improve the cervical angle so that the posture is improved and it also gives you comfort and relieves the pain.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

.Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – Lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 1-1 tab yograj guggul after lunch and dinner. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Take green vegetables. Drink juice. Eat fruits. Drink 7-8 glass of water in a day. Take 7 hours sleep minimum. Do pranayama early morning. I have a painful left elbow and it has started in the last 2-3 months once I started playing cricket again? How do I determine if it's a tennis elbow?

Put you arm completely over a plinth, with palm facing downwards. Then lift you middle finger against some sort of resistance, if you get pain over outer aspect of elbow (lateral aspect) you have may be having tennis elbow. If you still cant make it see a physiotherapist or a orthopedician.
