Leg exercises are a vital part of senior and elderly fitness. Hi. This is definitely not related to bp or the bp medicines that he is taking presently. Most commonly this is related to dehydration. And this is very common in hot summer seasons like this one. So my advice is to take plenty of fluids orally, have fruits and fruit juices and avoid the hot sun. He should be fine with this. Take care.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. I am actually not aware of what vaadam actually means but you are very young to have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Around 8 months back, I slipped on stairs and from then this back problem started basically. In between once I consulted doctor and had a xray as well. He suggested that my lower tail bone and somewhere in the middle it's hurt. He suggested some medicine. After few months I left the medicine as it seems to be fine. But when I started Zym .it's started again. Like I can't sleep more than 4 hours straight in my back. I have to change sides while sleeping many times. Kindly suggest some helpful medication. You have coccydinia, you should stop lifting weights at the gym in this condition. If you do so your problem will get worsened, best would be to take physiotherapy treatment from a good physiotherapist ,he will help you to ease out the pain and other problems associated with it. Also back/core strengthening exercises need to be done on regular basis so that you are better able to exercise at the gym! Medicines will just block your pain for a certain period but will not have any improvement on your muscle condition and nor it will help you gain strength. If you know swimming its a good exercise to begin with! Can take ice pack 2-3 times a day to relieve the pain.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and Get your blood checked for CBC and follow up with reports and get an xray lumbosacral vertebrae done and follow up with reports.

You should take acupressure therapy and take biochemic calc phos 200x 4 tab thrice a day with warm water and take it 5 days

Gentle massage over knees with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oils daily for about 15-20 minutes and hot fomentation afterwards will greatly help in subsiding the pain. These procedures would give strength to your knee and reduce the pain and stiffness. Regular oiling the joint will improve the lubrication also. Use knee caps over the joints and avoid over exertion of the joint. This will greatly help.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) In this disease pain and stiffness start in small joints such as in hands (fingers) feet, and wrist joint. These methods are helpful you in • Take half teaspoon of haldi in one glass milk daily. This will reduce inflammation of your joints. • Take 100 gm jaggery (gur) and 30 gm of dry ginger powder mix it and make 5 gm tablets and take a tablet daily with water in morning after meal. • If you have pain in joint massage it with lukewarm oil daily. • Move your joint daily and do some muscle streching exercise. This will reduce stiffness in your joints. • Avoid junk food and eat healthy food such as green leafy vegetables and fruits daily.

Hello lybrate user according to Ayurveda Vata vikriti is the main factor for pain.... Treatment- 1-apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation . 2-take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. 3-Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day.. Diet- Avoid fermented food...Junk food....potato rice....sleep well...

Kindly show me photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do back (spine)/shoulder/knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.
