To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

I am CA Final Student, cannot concentrate on my studies specially theory subjects, what to do to improve concentration & interests in subjects? Even sometimes I doubt myself whether I can clear the exam or not? please advice.

This is a very tough exam and I m not surprised that all kinds of doubts can enter your mind. It would help to do group studies with with one more person or a small group of interested individuals. You may also try to make short notes of the theory subjects to study easily. You can follow these simple rules to improve your concentration: Have a good night?s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises (in fact Yoga has some good exercises for focus and concentration like looking at your thumb and at candle light), etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. Afternoons are a bad time to do study by reading. If you repeat learning at least five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. In a calm disposition concentration is much better and you will be able to study better. You may need to make notes and reduce the quantity of material to be studied and that will make it easier. Today the syllabi is very heavy and so it is difficult but you must find ways of giving more important topics more of your time and attention and that way you will prioritize y

Hi, take tab. Septillin 2-0-2after food and rhinorin lehya 1 tsf twice daily followed by milk for 3 months continuously. Avoid cold and refrigerated food. Do steam inhalation twice daily. Avoid sweets and oil fried food. Perform pranayama daily in the morning for 10-15 mins.

Here are 3 effective tips that you can help you fight bad breath and keep your mouth healthy on a daily basis.

Practice Good Oral Hygiene

If you’re suffering from bad breath problems, it is important that you brush and floss twice a day. Use fluoride-based toothpaste that will help you to keep your mouth clean and remove food debris and plaque. It is also important to brush your teeth before you go to bed because bacteria can grow in your mouth while you’re asleep. It is also important that you scrape your tongue to remove any residue that may be building up after you eat your meals.

Keep Your Mouth Moist

Keeping your mouth moist is another way to eliminate bad breath issues which is why you need to ensure that you drink good amount of water throughout the day. Drinking adequate amount of water will help you stay hydrated as well. You can also chew sugarless chewing gums or candies that can stimulate production of saliva in your mouth to wash away food particles and bacteria. Choose chewing gums that have xylitol are always recommended.

Watch What You Eat

Certain foods can trigger bad breath in your mouth and therefore you need to keep log of what food you eat. This will help you to narrow down certain food items that worsen your bad breath problems. Similarly, there are certain medications that also trigger mouth odour, hence it is recommended that you talk about it with your dentist. Stay away from tobacco products and avoid smoking which also leads to bad breath issues.

We recommend that you visit your dentist regularly, at least twice a year to conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and to ensure that your mouth is clean and healthy. * first correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back. You can use lumber belt for support. * do regular back strength exercises. Depression too can affect the course of a physical disease. Depression is linked with slower recovery from a heart attack and an increased risk for future heart trouble.

Thyroid disorders also affect mood. Overactive thyroid can cause mania and under active thyroid can cause depression. Other medical conditions associated with mood disorders include certain neurological conditions (multiple sclerosis, Parkinson?s disease, Alzheimer?s), other hormonal imbalances and lack of vitamin B12.

You have epilepsy, that is recurrent tendency to seize or have fits. Medications available for the same help in controlling the frequency of fit and maintaining a stable seizure free state. Duration for continuation of treatmnet depends upon how what was the seizure free interval while on medications. If this was more than 3 years, then medications can be considered for tapering and stopping treatmnet. However this has to be done under the close supervision of the treating physician. Eptoin and levipil both are good anti epileptics, but if you still have seizure often, then you should investigate yourself for the drug levels and opt for a change in medications accordingly. Sleep please tell me from how many days you are having this problem. First of all I am giving you general guidance. Daily morning brisk walk 30 minutes, don't take a nap in afternoon, bath with a luke warm water half hour prior to sleep. Go to bed when you feel maximum sleeping. Use these measures first. If your symptoms still persist take tablet clonazep 0.25 mg half hour before sleep but for not more than 5 days.

Avoid heavy food items, day sleep, milk and bakery products, sweets, have regular moderate exercise. Only fish may be taken, no other non - veg is advisable 1- devdarvyarishta 15 ml + rohitakarishta 15 ml after food twice in a day with water 2- oat bran like bagrrys or any brand 20 gm may be mixed in wheat aata while preparing rotis and such rotis are to be consumed daily 3- arogyavardhini vati 500 mg one in morning in empty stomach with water 4- trifala powder 5 gm at bed time with warm water daily continue treatment for 3-4 months, record weight before and after every month and give feed back.
