Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hello, constipation is a very common gastro intestinal problem. Constipation may causes flatulence, acidity, abdominal discomfort, swollen abdomen or pain abdomen, nausea vomiting etc. Following homoeopathic medicines are useful in treatment of constipation:- 1. Bio combination no. 04, 4 tablets at a time, three times a day, 15 min. After meals. 2. Bryonia 30, 3 drops, morning empty stomach for 7 days. 3. Nux vomica 30, 3 drops, after dinner at bed time for 7 days. 4. Take causticum 200, 5 drops, once in a week. Avoid the following foods that can cause constipation include: chocolate dairy products red meat bananas and caffeine tips to prevent constipation have more fibres in your diet. 25 to 30 grams of daily intake can prevent constipation. Fibres help retain water in the stools thus making them softer and easier to expel. Whole grain cereals and breads dried fruits, such as prunes and raisins popcorn, nuts, and seeds beans and legumes raw fruits and vegetables drink plenty of fluids, preferably water. 8 glasses a day will help. Have more if you are physically active. Prune (manukka) juice, and other fruit drinks are known to normalise bowel motility.

Hi pain or soreness in the foot, that eases with time during the day, is generally indicative of plantar fasciitis. The first step you take generally after sitting or standing for a long time or when you get up from the bed is painful. As you start walking the pain clears up. Plantar fascia is a ligament that connects your heel bone to your toes. Other causes of foot pain can be rheumatoid arthritis, faulty arch, ligament tears, fractures, and gout. +wear soft padded footwear. +do stretching of calf muscles +learn strengthening exercise of ankle +take contrast bath at physio clinic. I have acne problems since last 4-5 years, have tried everything but nothing worked. Acne gets cured in few days btw the same time a new pimple generates on other part of the face. Try this treatment for acne - 1. Use tea tree face wash with tea tree toner daily 2. Aha glow also works wonders for acne prone skin. You can rub your face with 1% concentration of salicylic acid in aha glow face wash daily. 3. Use sunscreen daily twice. 4. Eat a diet rich in vitamin c 5. Include green leafy vegetables in your diet 6. Apply kojic acid cream at night.

I think youshould do back muscle strengthening exercise. Rather than taking oral medicine you should go for diclofenac local gel application initially avoid heavy weight lifting sit with support and avoid driving bike.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of both knee. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 32 years old and feeling knee pain. I don' t think it is due over use because I do not play any hard sports which include running and all. I am not over weight as per my bmi and is within the range. I feel the pain when I use staircase but normal walk I do not have pain and after some one or two hour walk I feel some burning sensation for sometime which slowly reduces. I suspect it could be calcium and vitmain d deficiency please let me know what I can do.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. It is a common symptom amongst young age people and understanding is slightly complex. We commonly label it as chondromalacia - which means softening of the cartilage of knee cap undersurface. I would advise you to - do intensive ice packs for 3-4 times in a day - anti inflammatory medications which suits you - physical therapy - this is the mainstay of treatment. You need someone who understand the condition and can do strengthening of quadriceps and stretching of other muscle groups. - continue with calcium and vitamin d supplementation. Get some blood tests and send reports across to me: esr, crp, serum potassium, serum vitamin d and serum uric acid levels. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.
