Hi I have bad breath and bleeding problem from 1 and half year i also meet dentist but the problem should be there

Dentist, Asansol
Bad break and gum bleeding. All are symptoms of gum inflammation which usually starts because of plaque and calculus .Visit dentist and go for scaling ( teeth cleaning ) of your teeth. Once scaling is complicated .Maintain your oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice daily. Flossing of teeth. And visit your dentist after every six month.

I am 20 years old. My front teeth get black colour in between. Is there any solution?

Dentist, Vadodara
The black color discoloration may be calculus or decay. Calculus can be removed by professional scaling and polishing. Decay can be filled with tooth coloured material.

I had a swollen uvula, from that moment after 2 to 3 months I can still feel that something is still not fully normal what should I do?

Dentist, Durgapur
If there is not any difficulty while swallowing or talking then you don't need to worry abt it. It will get normal with time. In the meantime make a habit of gargling with warm saline once a day.

Smoking or consuming smokeless tobacco is very harmful for your teeth. It can lead to various oral diseases like oral cancer, gingivitis, periodontitis and tooth decay.

My teeth are turning yellow. How can they be white again by natural approaches as I dont wanna take allergic medicines?

No one is asking you to take medicines. Medicines are not allergic. Human being is allergic to medicine. Keep your teeth clean, visit a dentist and get them cleaned.

How do you go about getting teeth whitening? What is teeth whitening? Who can perform teeth whitening? What happens during teeth whitening at the dentist? What about home kits and beauty salons for teeth whitening? What are the risks of home kits and salon teeth whitening? What questions should I ask the dentist before going ahead?

Dentist, Faridabad
Teeth whitening or in technical terms bleaching is a dental procedure in which teeth are exposed to certain bleaching chemicals and then treated with high intensity light for those chemicals to work properly. Usually it takes 2-3 sittings to get desired results. But teeth can get stained again 6 months to 1 year after treatment. So to avoid that you should avoid pigmented food substances like tea, coffee, turmeric etc. So ask your dentist before procedure to match your current tooth shade on shade guide and then your desired shade and how many sittings you need for that shade. Kits for home use purpose take longer time and not as good as professional bleaching at a dental clinic.

Check how are you breathing from nose or from mouth. Because mouth breathing is one of the common reason for malocclusion, foul smell, breeding from gums. If it exists, break the habit.
