There are many resions of hair fall like hormonal changes, hereditory problems, deficiency of vit. B12 and vit. Cand other. So first of all you clean your head ptoperly and apply coconut oil on it. And lightly massage your head from your fingers for 10 to 15 minutes. Do this process daily.

Diet - Why It Often Fails?

A diet is something which takes a lot of effort and also a person’s will to become a better form of him or herself. After all the thought, persistence and work that goes into the process of planning the diet and the mental fortitude of going for it; can you imagine the disappointment which is inevitable when it fails? If nothing else, there are reasons why this is so!

  1. It takes time: When it comes to dieting, it is quite unfortunate to see people think of the process as a quick fix in order to meet a body target. It is often the case that these people slip back into their old dietary ways as soon as they can. Going back to eating things which are unhealthy is really bad after going on a diet as the weight of the person then starts to change. A change in mentality is required here as the person who goes on a diet should keep in mind the fact that a diet is something which is a change in lifestyle for the better and not a proverbial shot in the arm.
  2. Be realistic: Another reason why diets fail is on account of expectations of results which do not seem to be reasonable, by any measure. This happens to be the case in a surprisingly large number of instances. Results when it comes to health and fitness take a pretty long time to show; time which is spent consistently following the correct schedule.
  3. Don’t lose focus: While most diets are well intentioned, one of the issues when it comes to them is the fact that there is so much preparation behind it that when a person deviates even in a minor manner away from the plan, fatalistic thinking comes in and takes hold. In the end, the net result of all of this is the sad consequence that the diet is let go off. This occurs by the way of the person thinking that since he or she did cheat on the diet once, all is lost. It is to be kept in mind by a person who is in this sort of scenario that the fact that he or she did not follow the diet plan which had been set out but in its stead, completely contradicted it by the way of what was eaten, does not mean that he or she should give up!

Diets require persistence but they provide their benefits which are more than proportional! If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dietitian-nutritionist.

Hlo sir My dad is suffering from diabetes. His sugar level is around 150 (fasting) and around 240 (pp). His foot nails are very black and are brittle. Last year he was suffering from ganguering. And sometimes his fingers became unstable (sleepy fingers) Please suggest something.

He need to become aware of the importance of getting the sugar under control. Just by following simple health tips he can become better. Tell him to plan his day in advance so that he can implement healthy rules in a study manner. Diet, exercise, sleep and mental relaxation are very important for everyone including diabetes patients. He should eat only healthy food and avoid all junk and processed food. Avoid all bad habits. He can have a small meal every 3 hrs. Drink enough water 8-10 glasses of water. Have lots of salads and vegetables as they contain good nutrients but less calories. Yoga can be very beneficial as it is very safe and can be learnt at any age. Facelift is becoming important in middle age to enhance aesthetic looks in middle age
We have many options in facelift and it is often confusing which to opt for.

Here are rough guidelines that can help us to select right treatment protocol

In young patients under 30 years we can use chemical peels, laser resurfacing and thread lift to cause facelift
In middle age persons with mild sagging we can add option of hifu or ultherapy
In there is significant volume loss we can add fillers or fat grafting
In severe sagging it is better to go for surgical facelift as smas lift.
Sometimes combination of surgical facelift for sagging, fat grafting for volume deficiency and deep peel for rejuvenating skin are added to give optimal results.
Some tips for delaying aging of skin
1. Use regular sun screen, broad spectrum, spf above 35 and water resistant
2. Regular use of retinoic acid as retino a at night can stimulate collagen production
3. High protein diet and supplements as amino collagen are helpful in remodelling collagen
4. Regular chemical peels as glycolic and tca can help in skin rejuvenation
5. Use good quality moisturisers to delay volume loss and dehydration. If needed get fillers regularly.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

My 3.5 year old son having trouble with his molars, when we consulted some dentist he suggest to remove all the molar except one since decay is deep. Can we do something to save these teeth. If molar would be removed how will eat and chew for next 10 years and spacing issue for the permanent teeth.

You are right . Please consult other dentist and get a second opinion. Deciduous molar falls at the age of 12 so it's not advisable to extract it at such a small age. Please consult any pedodontist or endodontist.

Natural way of weight loss is by routine exercise like walking, running, yoga and healthy diet which contains boiled vegetables, more fiber, low carbohydrate and fatty food. Medicines work temporarily for weight loss. Skipping meals will not help. If any medical condition is related then that needs to be treated.

Loop a towel or rope around your right foot and pull your leg as far as comfortable toward your chest, while keeping a slight bend at the knee. Keep your back pressed to the floor throughout the stretch. Hold for 10 to 30 seconds and then release. Repeat 3 or 4 times with each leg. Do this stretch 5 or 6 times a week. Short-Arc Knee Extensions In the same starting position as the straight-leg raises, put a ball (about the size of a basketball) under your left knee so that your leg is bent. Slowly straighten your leg. Hold, then slowly lower. Repeat with your right leg. Exercises To Avoid A few of the following exercises can be done safely if you have chronic knee problems; they're on this list because they're more likely to be done improperly. The exercises above are safer, while still giving you similar results. •Full-arc knee extensions •Lunges •Deep squats •Hurdler's stretches.

Okay Rahul, To loose extra weight do not take sugar,sweetened juice,fruit juice as these turns into fat.Avoid fats foods,junk foods,processed foods.Use lukewarm water with lemon juice on empty stomach in the morning.Then do exercise like swimming,skipping,yoga,plank,push ups,sit ups,squat.These will help you to reduce fat as well as to build muscle.Eat small amount of food.Do not skip meals.Eat watery fruits and vegetables.Use unrefined foods.Take egg white,fish,lean meat,cottage cheese,yogurt,tofu,mushroom,lentil,peas,peanut.Add healthy fat in cooking in small amount.Drink lots of water specially before meals.Use lukewarm water after meals.Take stress free rest.
