Suffering from lower feet and ankle pain. Dnt have any orthopaedic issues, x ray says nothing. What might be the reasons? Pain is high after sitting for a longer time with folded legs. Facing difficulties in walking. Regards.

Hello Lybrate user according to Ayurveda Vata vikriti is the main factor for pain. Treatment- 1-apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation. 2-take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. 3-Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. I am 37 years old. I had joint problem in my right leg knee, there is little bit swelling and I can't fold that leg more than 5 -10 minutes. Can I know whats the problem occuring there?

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Hello dear this pain due to muscle weakness and lack of exercise. So start walking regularly and after walk and end of the day sit in neeling position mince vajrasan for 1-5 minits also do contras bath mince hot and cold therapy. You can also use tens for leg. There is a new machine launch for specially this problem. Take care.

I have a nagging pain at the bottom of my small toe on the right foot. Exactly, in the protruding bone below the small toe. The pain erupts suddenly and there is a burning sensation along with the pain. Please advice.

Sir I have a pain with my right side leg before 2 month but pain is increasing few date then now what can I doo please reply.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Sir / madam. I am a marketing person, lots of running on bike in Mumbai city approx 75 km daily, always feeling tired, my joints legs, arms, backbone, head always tired & feeling Uneasy also painful, I regularly take Revital capsule daily, but still not very active. Pls suggest something better then this, lots of responsibility, can't stop, have to run & want to be active like horse. Reply Note: No BP, no Diabetes, no cholesterol.

As you said you can not change the work and your life style, I would suggest you to add swimming to your daily routine. * swimming will help you relax and at the same time strengthen your weak muscles. * taking hot water shower before going to bed will also help to relax your over used muscles. * eat healthy * have a sound sleep. * continue taking your regular supplements.

Hi, suggest you to get your hand check with orthopedician or physiotherapist as to rule our any fracture /dislocation/ soft tissue injury. *to relive pain swelling to ice pack for 5 minutes, apply crepe bandage if pain is severe and avoid lifting weight or writing or typing from injured hand till, you get it checked. Hi, Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory.
