First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

1. Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 2. Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 3. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

Do calf stretching exercise and hot fermentation with warm water and do gentle massage of heel apply pain relief ointment avoid long standing and rest must if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment you can use heel sole n do strength exercise.

My wife suffers from pain originating from her shoulders to the whole of right hand. She had it checked and also went for physiotherapy and heat massages. She also takes Vitamin D as directed. But the pain is ever increasing and also the area effected is increasing. What could be the cause??

Cause could be the compression of the nerve traversing the arm from the neck. I would suggest you get an MRI done to know the exact cause and also to direct the therapy accordingly..

It might of muscle fatigue and do consult neuro physio and learn stretching exercise and do consult dietician for diet chart on your routine based.

Hello do cold fomentation for 15-20 min thrice in a day. Avoid using computer, take rest for 5 min after working for 1 hour. You can use thin pillow while sleeping. In pain free range do neck exercises. Maintain proper body posture while watching tv/studying. Revert me after 7 days. Thanks.

Start with Physiotherapy treatment and learn spinal exercise. Don't sit on floor. Send MRI report. Use lumber spine belt. Take calcium and multivitamin with vitamin D 3 for 2 month.

Hi take rest. Apply cold water foementation. Avoid painful movements. You can take physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain and swelling. Exercise will strengthen your foot. Best wishes.

Body pain may be because of over physical/ mental exertion or viral fever do you have other symptoms like abdomen pain/ loose motion/ dizziness/ fever/ cough/ cold/ burning or pain while urination? kindly follow advises given below 1. Tablet crocin (paracetamol 650 mg) one tablet after food stat 2. Take lot of fluids 3. Proper rest 4. Proper diet consult again if symptoms persist or worsen.

I also have a muscle pain in right arm shoulder even after I exercise 30 minutes daily. Its in upper part of shoulder at pin point area. Even painkiller works not well. Please suggest a remedy to get rid of pain.

From symptoms it seems like you are having rotator cuff impingement. Mri of shoulder can be done to know precise cause of pain.

I am a 46 year female. Sufferring from left leg heal pain since one year.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Consult after 5 days.

Best Remedies for a Frozen Shoulder

Frozen shoulder is a condition where the patient encounters continuous shoulder stiffness and pain. It could last for several weeks. Inflammation around the shoulder increases the inability to move or stretch properly. This happens when somebody is recovering from an injury. Frozen shoulder can also occur when somebody is wearing a sling or a cast. It also occurs if someone is recovering from surgery or experiencing joint pain. It may also be experienced as a symptom of thyroid, joint disorders or diabetes.

Some of the causes and risk factors for creating a frozen shoulder are as follows:

  1. If you are 40 years or older, your chances of a frozen shoulder are higher than others
  2. Recovering from a damage or surgery
  3. Hormonal imbalance
  4. Ladies are more prone to a frozen shoulder
  5. Cervical disc infection that influences the nerves around the shoulder
  6. Not moving your arm because of other pain or wounds
  7. Having a previous medical condition like diabetes or other heart diseases
  8. Open-heart surgery or spinal surgeries
  9. Poor diet and unhealthy lifestyle

The most widely recognized symptoms of a frozen shoulder include:

  1. Stiffness around the shoulder usually happens in one shoulder at a time (not both) and will probably return in the same shoulder. Muscle, joint and bone agony in and around the shoulders or arms may be experienced.
  2. Restricted scope of movement
  3. Having difficulty moving and using the shoulders or arms ordinarily, (for example, experiencing difficulty in getting dressed, driving, holding objects before you, and gestures.)

Treatment:

  1. Stretch the Shoulder: Before beginning shoulder exercises for a frozen shoulder, try to warm up your shoulder by doing a few warm up exercises. This will improve the blood supply in the affected area and avoid future injuries by making your body more comfortable with the motion. The best approach is to extend and warm up the shoulder by applying heat for 10 to 15 minutes, scrubbing down or showering with Epsom salt.
  2. Non-intrusive treatment: While these activities mentioned above can be easily performed at home, if pain continues and makes it difficult to move around or work ordinarily, see a physiotherapist who can appoint particular activities and can enhance your scope of movement, flexibility and strength.
  3. Acupuncture: Acupuncture is considered one of the best treatment choices for any joint and nerve related problem. The treatment is based on focusing on the trigger points of the pain and putting pressure on them via needles. The treatment is not painful and is known to produce good results in the long run.
  4. Dietary Supplements: Various supplements can be taken with the recommendation of a doctor, in order to improve recovery. Alfalfa (horse feed) and turmeric are two of the most regularly recommended elements that relieve swelling and repair the tissue in the shoulder.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
