I underwent a massage treatment in ayurveda that gained me 4 kg weight and changed my eating habits after which I started experiencing more irregular periods that came only 3 months once. The last time (3 months ago) when I got my period I had a fleshy chunky discharge that was 2 inches long. Then I experienced so much of pain in my lower abdomen. Now I am experiencing pain during my bowel movements. And I did not get my next periods till now. Should I wait till everything becomes normal? Or should I get immediate medical assistance? Is there any natural home care that I can follow. For your further information I am a virgin.

General precautions for stones: 1. Drink lot of fluids (keep urine colourless & urine volume per 24 hr > 1.5 to 2 liters) 2. Reduce salt intake 3. Reduce intake of animal proteins These three things are universal for any kidney stone. If you are taking calcium supplements for bone health, try taking calcium citrate preparation since citrate prevent stone formation. Take calcium supplements along with meals and not in empty stomach. Milk and milk containing products must also be taken along with meals to prevent excessive calcium absorption which can promote stones. However, regular milk/calcium supplement is required. Other things you should follow are: - Increase fruit intake (except grapes) - Decrease coffee, tea, soft drinks, nuts and chocolate

Recently I had undergone appendectomy due to acute appendicitis with mass, had an open surgery with seven stitches a drain is also been set to eliminate infectious mass out. I had dark mucoid stools but now I observed white patches of mucus with a bit lightening in stool colour. I am presently taking Amikacin 500 IM, Cefotaxim tabs, tramadol and omez in medication. Gallstones can be cured with medicines which are combination of herbal and homeo. There will no such need to undergo surgery or operations. You can connect with me and I can provide you with treatment by which you can get cured with our medicines only. The medicines are combination of herbal and homeopathic only. I will suggest you to avoid surgery there is no need of it. You need to take medicines that can help in removing them naturally such as our medicines combination of herbal and homeo that will help in removing stones. Gall bladder gets diseased due to an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. This leads to an imbalance of the acid-alkali balance in the body which causes the cholesterol to precipitate in the gall bladder leading to stone formation. Over time, these may get infected and lead to an acute inflammation, pain, fever etc. A stone may move ahead into a narrow passage or the duct and get stuck leading to severe agony. The safest and way that should be used to remove gallstones is removing it naturally, not just remove gallstones from gallbladder but also remove the cause of gallstones. No matter how much stones are there in gallbladder they all will be removed using medicines and process we follow at SSOHM.

Health Tip on Acidity:

Did you know that too much acidity in your body can cause pain, weight gain, fatigue, and other health problems? Or, that high protein “weight loss” diets can be harmful to your health due to their high levels of acidity? Even glands and organs can be impaired from excess acidity in your diet and lifestyle , here are 10 ways to conquer excess acidity to start feeling great:

1. Buy a Sack of Lemons
If you run only one errand today, make it a trip to your local health food or grocery store to buy a sack of lemons. Yes, a sack. Once you get home, squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a tall glass of water and drink immediately. This one step will help you to quickly reset your body chemistry.

2. Load Up on H2O
Drink at least 8 more cups of water throughout the day, preferably with lemon juice added to each. Lemon juice breaks down acid waste in your body and restores your blood and tissues to slightly alkaline levels.

3. Breathe Deeply
Take a few deep breaths. Oxygen will not only energize your brain but it will quickly help to balance the chemistry of your cells — and healthier cells mean a healthier body.

4. Take a Walk
Boost your oxygen levels even further by bundling up and heading out for a brisk walk. Exercise helps to quickly oxygenate your body. More oxygen in your blood means its better equipped to nourish every organ and tissue, which increases energy, mental clarity and moods.

5. Turn to Peppermint Tea
Instead of reaching for a caffeine jolt from acidic coffee, or cola, drink some peppermint tea. Research shows that peppermint provides a quick boost of energy that won’t send your energy levels plummeting a few hours later.

6. Eat Your Veggies
Make vegetables the focal point of your lunch and dinner meals. If you absolutely hate broccoli, don’t take it out on the entire veggie kingdom. Who wouldn’t enjoy some delicious mashed sweet potatoes.

7. Take an Almond Break
Snack on raw, unsalted almonds every few hours. Not only are they loaded with calcium, magnesium, protein and other important nutrients, their high fiber and protein content help to stabilize blood sugar levels.

8. Smoothie Nation
Enjoy a delicious smoothie instead of a sugary snack or breakfast. Start with some almond milk and add frozen berries, half a frozen banana and a heaping teaspoon of green powder like barley juice, spirulina, wheatgrass, or other green food supplement.

9. Go Green
Eat at least one large salad a day but be sure to avoid store-bought dressings full of rancid oils, preservatives, additives, and sugar.

10. Take a Cue from Vegetarians
Cut back on your meat consumption. Choose beans, fish, or raw nuts or seeds instead of acid-forming meat. Add beans to soups, stew, chili or wraps, or make them into delicious dips for a high-fiber, high-protein, high-nutrition source of energy.

Hello Lybrate User, Take homeopathic treatment for intestinal gaseous distention. To get away from intestinal gaseous problem follow this tips that will help you to get rid from your problem - * Drink before meals. If you drink liquids with your meals, you lose stomach acids and can’t break down food as well. Try drinking about 30 minutes before a meal to help your stomach digest better. * Eat and drink slowly. When you eat or drink fast, you can swallow a lot of air, which can cause gas. Slow down when you eat. * Don't fill up on air. Habits like smoking, chewing gum, and drinking through a straw may cause your stomach to fill with air, leading to gas. * Avoid artificial sweeteners. Sorbitol and related sugar alcohols used in many sugar-free versions of foods can also aggravate gas. * Beans are a great source of protein and other fiber, so it can be good for some people. Soaking and/or overcooking beans may help reduce gas formation. If her excessive gas is persistent or severe, consult your primary health care provider. Take care.

The most common ways to reduce the discomfort of gas are changing diet, taking medicines, and reducing the amount of air swallowed. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.

Gall bladder surgery is a common surgerydone at most hospitals. Laparoscopic technique is the gold standard now. Choice of hospital would depend upon finances a lot. Corporate hospitals like max hospital, fortis, bl kapur, ganga ram hospital etc are good options. For lesser budget nursing homes and smaller hospitals are there. Govt and charitable hospitals also provide this facility at negligible costs.
