My calf muscles are paining on regular basis. So I want to knw weather its because of weakness or anything else. Can anyone suggest massage oil for the legs also.

Pain in calf muscles is much common and has so many causes, d most common being exertion, loss of fluids, calcium minerals deficiency, anaemia etc. Hydrate enough. Have fresh seasonal fruits. Take balanced diet. Do some stretching exercises. U can massage gently, also hot fomentation. For homoeopathic ointments and internal medicines consult online.

I have a problem in my right shoulder from past 11 years I consult the doctor for this actually my shoulder dislocated from several times what should be the result.

Hi. Multiple dislocations of shoulder is perfectly curable. I don't know whether you have shoulder specialist in allahabad. It needs to be treated by shoulder specialist orthopedic surgeon. There is no other option except surgery. You can keep trying other methods till you are tired but more than 3 dislocations means that joint will get damaged more and more with every dislocation.

I am 45, for the last 15 days my right portion of my body in paining i. E from heaps to upper side upto soldier, I don't know why, I had never fallen in hard surface.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 70 years old suffering from diabetes for last 20 years and hypothyroid. My h1bac is 6.1. I have undergone angioplasty in jan, 2010. My lipids and kft & lft are normal. I am suffering from unbearable pain, numbness and tingling in my feet. My nerves of feet get stretched and it appears that there is some padding at the bottom of feet. I am generally constipated and taking triphla at night. I find difficulty in walking fast and long distances as I feel weakness in thighs. I am on allopathic medicines for diabetes and heart problem. Please advise. .

For me to answer we will have to first find out whether these symptoms are due to lower back region where some compression of nerves can be a cause or it is due to your long standing diabetes. Actually I will need a: - detailed neurological charting of lower limbs including motor and sensory examination of you lower limbs which can be done by a physical therapist - mri ls spine if you have chronic back pain issues. I am 28 years old male and have back pain and also knee pain both legs. Last two year before I will suffer from chicken kuniya. What should I do.

Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore, lest it becomes starting point of a major problem.

Reduce your weight. Improve posture. Avoid forward bending. Use hard bed. Start hot saline fomentation followed by volini gel and back exercises.

I have joint effusion, 2 years ago I had injury and I am still suffering from pain. The effusion is less by now but occasional pain is there, I have changed 5 orthopaedic doctor n 2 physiotherapists. They could not lower the level of pain.

You haven't mentioned which joint effusion you have? there are many different treatment options for joint effusion, including both home care and physician-led care. The exact treatment will depend on the severity of the condition as well as the cause of it. Some treatments specifically look to address the symptoms whereas others look to combat the underlying cause. If your condition is being caused by an infection, then the doctor may prescribe antibiotics to fight the infection. Physiotherapy exercises are also effective in reducing effusion and stiffness of the joint. Some home remedies for joint effusion are: take any medications the doctor prescribes you. Be gentle with your joint. Rest, avoid activities that put pressure on your joint, while it is painful and swollen. Ice can help control pain and swelling. Apply an ice pack, wrapped in a cloth for 15 minutes every two to four hours. Elevation-raise your knee (or elbow, or foot) using pillows above the level of your heart. Manage your weight. If you are overweight, losing weight will help.

I am a student and study late night on bed and due to that from last few weeks I am suffering from back pain a lot. Please help.

You know the cause of your backpain- studying on bed so Correct it. 1. Use table chair for studies. Chair with back rest and feet should rest on floor. 2. Take analgesics like paracetamol for relief and start back stretcheingle and strengthening exercises once pain is relieved. 3. Apply warm water bag on back for 10 mins 4 times a day. 4. Take breaks in between study and take a walk. 5. Do not bend and lift weights. 6. Go for activities like swimming. If your problem is persistent consult again.

Consult an orthopaedic doctor. X rays ,MRI may be needed. Its unusual to get such pains at this young age. Some blood tests, like CBC, CRP,ESR, Hla b27 may be needed for diagnosing Treatment after physical checkup, xrays, blood test findings.

Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. Go for a regular walk. Also control your weight properly to bring down the pain.

Hi, daily do back and legs muscles stretching and strengthing exercise with the help of physiotherapist and learn all exercise and continue for 3to4 month, with that try to go for walking at least 4km per day this will help you to maintain your posture and keep muscles relax and strong so please try your best to keep fit, hopefully you will be fine take care.
