Advice…. Hot Fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction. Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x twice daily. Bhujang Asana x twice daily. Back Stretching.

Back pain is caused due to various reasons. A detailed evaluation is needed to diagnose exact problem. However you can start doing some exercises to relieve from your back pain. Do back strengthening exercises thrice a day. Do back stretching exercises if you feel any tightness. Modify your life style, sitting and standing postures. Sit erect and make sure your feet is touching the floor. Avoid bending forward repeatedly. You can also do hot water fermentation with added salt in it for instant pain relief. It will give soothing effect. Follow this and revert back.

tear can occur again if you will not take care of it. do not be in haste to start exercise and running, follow your doctors advise, once you are healed start with physiotherapy and light exercises then move to play ground. usuall time of recovery is 4-8weeks.

Hi, Good initiative towards fitness! Its normal to have little pain after lunges but be regular. It might be your technique of lunge is wrong or you are not doing proper stretching and warm before doing lunges. There are no side effects of lunges if done correctly so I am suggesting some pointers. 1) while performing a lunge try to keep your knees aligned over your second toe so that the knee is moving in the same direction as the ankle joint. However, in reality we often find the knee translating (moving) forward to the toes or beyond in a squat or lunge movement. The reason for this can be attributed to the length of leg bones (tibia/fibula or femur). 2) During lunge or squat movements, we should always emphasize beginning the movement by pushing the hips backwards before they lower towards the floor. 3) In some instances we’ve seen trainers recommend keeping the back as vertical as possible which is problematic. 4) Do proper stretching exercises before doing lunges and squats. 5) Watch your technique in the mirror, the next time you lunge. Place your hands on your hips or in the small of your back and perform your lunge. If you notice any forward tilting in your hips or an increase in the curvature of your low back, you are compromising lumbar stability. Try this pointer and improve your exercise technique. If still pain persists, check with orthopedician or physiotherapist or follow up with me. Thanks.

I have a fracture with bone bruise in my right knee. It is from last six months. It still feels pain when I put weight on it. Now what should I do. Is it be healed by medicine or I have to undergo knee surgery?

It looks like you are anaemic. And also you have to check with your vitamin and calcium levels in the body. If the bones are weak then automatically the pain gets triggered more as there is less energy during any metabolic activity. No need to go for surgery, doing hot water fermentation will help and also MCR chappals can be used to feel relaxed and comfortable

I am suffering from cervical spondylitis since last one year what is the medicine.
Most people above age 65 suffer from some degree of cervical spondylosis. Fortunately, with the help of certain medications, simple lifestyle changes and some simple home remedies, you can control the symptoms and lead a pain-free life. Follow the remedies daily until you recover completely. One of the major causes of cervical spondylosis is lack of regular exercise. Therefore, you can reduce pain and stiffness around your neck and shoulders by incorporating regular physical exercise into your lifestyle. Rotate your head in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, and nod the neck side to side from one shoulder to the other. Do this for 10 minutes 2 or 3 times daily. This will help the pain in your neck from getting severe. You can even rotate your arms in clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, and fold and unfold your fists at regular intervals to control pain. Note: if the pain becomes severe while doing any kind of exercise, stop doing it and consult your doctor. Another easy way to deal with neck pain due to cervical spondylosis is alternating hot and cold compresses on the affected area. Hot compresses will improve blood circulation and relax sore muscles. Cold compresses will reduce swelling and inflammation. To make the hot compress, wrap a hot water bag in a thin towel. To make the cold compress, wrap a few ice cubes in a thin towel. Place the hot compress on the affected area for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove it and apply the cold compress for 1 minute. Repeat the process for 15 to 20 minutes. Follow this simple remedy a few times daily until you get relief. Note: do not apply hot compresses if the affected area is red and irritated. Avoid cold compresses if you have circulatory problems.

You have to do regular exercises. Back muscles are weak. Calcium and vitamin d deficiency may also be seen. You will be benefited by exercises and some medicines.

No smoking and alcohol. Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Start with physiotherapy sessions and learn exercise for knee joint. Wear knee cap open patella also. Don't sit on floors. Take calcium and methylcobalamine supplement with glucosamine and omega3 for 2 months minimum.

I am 39 y old suffering from spondylosis for the last 4 yrs. Severe at first ie 2011 year. Mild now if with hard controlled of lifting heavy weight. But could not fully recover. What should I do to recover fully back? life is so hard with this.

Spondylosis is best managed by physiotherapy and no role of drugs is there. Exercises, tractions, collar or belt support as the case may be and some relaxing gels and painkillers are the best things a surgeon can give. Main role is of physio n support only. Vaidyas are blessed with the advantage of suggesting some herbal applications and oral med those not only relax muscles but also strengthen them and help maintaining proper gap in ivd spaces. But again support of area and physiotherapy can't be dispensed away. No pain killers in ayurveda. Long duration in both pathies are reqd but ayurveda will not have bad effects. Choice is yours.

Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.
