Dentist,

There is no supplement available to protect teeth from cavities. Keep your teeth clean, brush twice a day, also flossing should be started because it helps cleaning in between two teeth.

I have ulcer in my mouth if I eat ice-cream it cause or good? And which medicine or gel is good.

I have ulcer in my mouth if I eat ice-cream it cause or good? And which medicine or gel is good.
Yes, you can eat ice cream in mouth ulcers but it is not going to treat mouth ulcers completely. Here are certain natural ways in which you can treat mouth ulcers. Do salt water gargles. I know it is going to hurt a little but salt water draw the water from in the cells to help balance out the concentration. When water is drawn out, the painful puffiness that excess fluid can cause is reduced. Another method is honey. Simply dip a cotton swab in honey and dab it on the affected area. You can also use glycerin or vitamin E oil in the same way. For mouth sores caused by radiation therapy, use manuka honey. Baking soda: Simply create a paste by mixing baking soda with water, and apply a thin layer with a cotton swab. Not only will it soothe the pain, but it also seals in the canker sore and gives it a chance to heal.

Hi lybrate-user, your problem can be due to two reasons 1-problems with the teeth and gums for which you need to visit a dentist 2-ent to check for any nasal polyps. Patients with chronic polyps usually have a post nasal drip in which the nasal secretions are discharged at the back of the throat which can also lead to bad breath.

Mr. Lybrate-user you have to go for biopsy together with sugical excision if required. It is good though it is stable since 15 years.

A 7 year old does not have wisdom teeth. Root canal is a treatment and teeth are a part of body. So just like any other part of body, your teeth can also get infected again. Its just a secondary infection. Depending upon the tooth resorption, that tooth has to be retreated or removed. If its a primary tooth. If its a permanent tooth ,it has to be retreated and saved.

Every morning I got saliva in my mouth that make my mouth smell so dear sir/mam suggest me how to stop it.

Every morning I got saliva in my mouth that make my mouth smell so dear sir/mam suggest me how to stop it.
•Eat a healthy, balanced diet and avoid eating strongly flavoured or spicy food. •Cut down on sugary food and drink, as it can increase the amount of bacteria in your mouth. •Reduce your alcohol consumption. •Stop smoking. •Cut down on coffee. •Drink plenty of water to help prevent your mouth becoming dry. •Chew sugar-free gum after eating, to stimulate the flow of saliva. This will help clean away any remaining food particles. •Don't use toothpaste to clean your dentures, as it can scratch the surface and cause stains. •Clean your dentures thoroughly using soap and lukewarm water, denture cream or a denture-cleaning tablet. •Use a separate toothbrush to clean your dentures. •Make sure you visit your dentist for regular check-ups. Having regular dental check-ups will ensure that any plaque is removed from your teeth, particularly in areas that are difficult to reach. •Your dentist can recommend the best way to clean your teeth and gums, and point out areas you might be missing. They can also identify any signs of gum disease and ensure early treatment. •Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. •If your bad breath is caused by a gastrointestinal problem, such as an H. Pylori infection or gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), you may be referred to a gastroenterologist. •Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. •You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too.

There is a cut in my tongue in middle like some one cut it. But it is naturally .what is reason for it. It is a disease or. What Plzz tell I am scaring.

MDS - Orthodontics, BDS
Dentist, Chennai
Tissue condition is called fissured tongue. Fissured tongue generally doesn’t require treatment. However, it’s important to maintain proper oral and dental care, such as brushing the top surface of the tongue to remove food debris and clean the tongue. Bacteria and plaque can collect in the fissures, leading to bad breath and an increased potential for tooth decay. Keep up with your normal dental care routine, including daily brushing and flossing. Visit your dentist twice each year for a professional cleaning.
