Hello, Take Rhus tox. 200, 5 drops in the morning and bryonia 200, 5 drops daily evening. Five phos , 4 tabs twice daily. Revert me after 10 days.

I am suffering from waist pain since six month long what step I can take for relieve?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. If by waist pain you mean pain in lower back region, then I can help you. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Applying cold compresses to the painful knee is one of the best and easiest ways to reduce pain and swelling. The cold will constrict the blood vessels, reducing blood flow to the affected area and thus reducing swelling. It will also give you relief from the pain. 1. Wrap a handful of ice cubes in a thin towel. 2. Apply the compress to the affected knee area for 10 to 20 minutes. 3. Do this two or three time daily until your pain is gone. A bag of frozen peas also works well as a cold compress. You can opt for alternating hot and cold compresses as well for chronic pains.

I am a 24 year old male. I recently pulled a hamstring (or tore it, I am not sure) while playing football. Its been 4 weeks now and I have been doing the usual movement exercise instructed by my physician. I have been taking a calcium tablet also. Sir actually I have a bed in my room and the bed is made up of 2 plywoods. An one damage in my bed that the one plywood among the plywoods are still break and one plywood is upper side and second plywood is lower side. The problems is occurs from last 3 months that in the bed the the small pain in my backbone in lower side of backbone where hips are located. And I think that this problem is arises whenever I am going to sleep in the night either afternoon daily and when I wake up the pain is occurs. But the pain is small but whenever I am going to put my body towards the floor the pain is increases and irritating. So please tell me what is the problem in my backbone please give me suggestions and prescriptions and I am worried about it.

Hello. Firstly you have to do a x-ray lumber spine. You may be suffering from lumber spondylosis or like these conditions. Sleep on steep surface. Give some warmth to lumber region 2 times/day. Also do not try any lumber exercises on your own. Do not eat fast food. Keep eating times regular. Do not eat late night. Do not eat too much spicy. Do not eat rice items in night. Take Sound sleep at night. Do not sleep during day. Early morning 30 mins walk is most important. Revert back if more guidance & medicines needed.

those who are standing for long time and due to age knee problem happen. avoid long standing calcium rich diet are advisable. should not take pain killer.local application will help little much
