Dear lybrateuser, avoid drinking cold water & any other cold drink. Take more of warm fluids like tea, milk, soup etc. Also avoid spicy & fried food. Have a glass of lukewarm water mixed with a teaspoon of honey first thing in the morning. At breakfast take a glass of milk mixed with a teaspoon of haldi. Do warm water mixed with salt gargles atleast twice a day. When you move out of the house use a mask to avoid dust & other pollutants. Get your self checkedup by a doctor who will get you investigated & prescribe suitable medication.

At home when relaxed your BP was 110/70 , when you exert yourself a little or walk - it increases your BP marginally- So the BP reading varied at different places. You should Trust your doctor completely as the Doctor is working towards your wellness. Kindly follow your doctor's advice and even if you want to stop the medicine- please take your doctor's permission regarding same. Practice breathing exercises and some meditation.

Hi, Welcome. I have gone through report which shows that you have deranged lipid profile. Please tell me whether you have associated hypertension, diabetes or any heart disease. If yes than you will need medicine, otherwise it could be managed by dietary restrictions & exercise. Dietary restrictions include: Stop fat rich diet, Stop junk food, If fat is to be used, use olive oil. Exercise regularly for at least 30 minutes for 5 days in a week. If you want to decrease it by medication, we generally prescribe a medication Prelipid twice daily. This will reduce your cholesterol in 3 months. Thanks.

What you are fond of is a sexual perversion called masochism. As long as it is just a sort of pleasurable activity for both the sexual partners and not physically or psychologically harmful to you and you are not addicted to it, it may be considered normal variant of sex. I have a chest pain suddenly doctors said that symptoms related to heart attack but not sure of that is heart attack....
Heart attack is not diagnosed on basis of symptoms only. Get ecg and halter tests done and echo test to know %age of heart functions. Regarding high cholesterol levels, I will suggest simple and easy way to bring down. Take fresh lemon. Take a spoon of honey added to water and take it on empty stomach every morning. Besides reducing fats, it reduces blood sugar levels also. Reduce bad fats like street food, pizzas and burger, namkeem and other road side fried foods. Use less fats but a spoon of desi ghee or butter and a katori of assorted nuts everyday. Good fats in blood tend to reduce bad fats responsible for heart attack. Get back with reports and tell us about your symptoms, when you were diagnosed with heart attack.

Thyroid gland affects nearly every organ in the body. Many nutritional factors play a role in optimizing thyroid function. However, both nutrient deficiencies and excesses can trigger or exacerbate symptoms. Working in collaboration with a both a physician and a registered dietitian is essential to determine nutritional status for optimal thyroid health. Improper thyroid function causes undesired weight changes, significant cardiovascular risks, and symptoms such as fatigue, mood changes, and gastrointestinal upset, which can hinder the development of healthful behaviors. I focus on setting realistic goals for healthy changes and regular exercise when counseling clients. There many potential nutrient deficiencies and interactions with medications and supplements. Hence diligent care is to be taken while designing a holistic treatment plan. I being a both a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Asthma,Hay fever, an allergy to grass and tree pollen, causes irritation to the eyes and nose and when the throat is affected, a cough results. Sensitivity to other particles such as animal fur, known as allergic rhinitis. Air pollutants can irritate the back of the throat causing a cough. This is the situation seen when non-smokers enter a smoky room. Treatment depends upon the underlying cause of dry cough.
