Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # change sleeping position. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same, you need specific treatment plan according to your symptoms. Hi along with medicines, wear a splint 24 hours a day for 4 to 6 weeks to hold the affected area firm and still. Apply ice for pain. Stop doing anything that worsens the condition. Best wishes. You can ice the area to reduce inflammation.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain.Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person.So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treament. In the mean time take Arnica 200, 3 drops in the morning and Rhus tox. 200, 3 drops at night for 7 days.Take care.

I underwent an ACL operation on 8th December 2015. Then Physiotherapy for 2 months. I am still unable to run and sometimes I feel pain in the knee when I bend it completely or use stairs or do fast walking. I want to ask that after how much time, I could run or walk fastly or swim without pain. I am doing regular exercise of my knee for 15 mins like cardio, half Squats etc.

Lybrate-user ji you should not run after the surgery for acl. Do not bend your knee more than 90 degree. Do not use stairs as far as possible. You can walk fast. You should be able to swim without pain. And most imp thing you should reduce your weight by minimum 10 kg.

I am having pain in small joints. In day time I am normal with no problems and my problem starts by evening. Almost every evening my someone or the other joints starts paining. I have been tested for Arthritis. And my ANA, CRP and HLA B27 test are found positive. While RF and Anti CCP results -ve. Can you please help me with the problem.

It is called as Rheumatic arthritis. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Wear elbow brace and wrist brace which will make her to feel warm and that will make the joints become firm. Hot water fermentation will help Knee cap will also help to prevent the damaged cartilages. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Which joints you have pain? If your proximal joints (ie. Shoulder, hip & knee has pain) then you can pour hot (warm) water in that area to reduce the inflammation. If you have pain in the distal joints ie. Wrist, fingers, ankle, toes then you can wear either elbow brace or wrist brace which will help you to feel warm and very protective. And also immerse the distal joints in the hot water tub which will help you to reduce the pain. Consult the near by physiotherapy clinic and also consult a general physician to check with your ESR levels to check whether you have inflammation The sound what you hear is called as Crepitus /ˈkrɛpɪtəs/ (also termed crepitation) is a medical term to describe the grating, crackling or popping sounds and sensations experienced under the skin and joints or a crackling sensation due to the presence of air in the subcutaneous tissue. Avoid toward y lifting weight, long sitting, do neck stretching exercise and isometric exercise, do hot fermentation in travel you can you use cervical collar.

If you are pregnant obviously you will have generalized pain due to the fact that the foetus grows and it throws more pressure in the lower back and this is the major cause for back pain in the first trimester of pregnancy. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. Pain in the foot, ankle and stiffness of the lower leg is due to constant pain and that makes the leg to have less blood circulation due to less movements and that becomes rigid for which doing hot water fermentation will help and also MCR chappals can be used to feel relaxed and comfortable along with Lumbosacral belt to improve the abdominal muscle tone
