I am a regular teacher, age 35ye, my problems pain of knee ,and legs. Please give a proper solution for peace.
Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold). Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hello, It is unusual for her to actually get a radiating kind of pain in her upper limbs at this age. In my opinion a detailed evaluation from a Neurophysician or a Spinal surgeon can actually tell us whether there is any compression of a nerve anywhere along the course. Also apart from pain, does she also have Neck pain, any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesias ( Electric shock like sensations, burning sensations etc) also present? There is been content hip joints pain in both leg knee some time it make to stand very uncomfortable for few minutes, I am now 74 years, having diabetes for the last 20 years, and during nights, I am not able to sleep very comfortably I am under insulin, and take medicines, regularly, what type of medicine I should use for this discomforts, kindly suggest I am from secunderabad presently telangana state.

What should I be doing to releave the pain for two herniated disc's one above and one below a fusion surgery of the cervical spine.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Thought it may be of help to get matters in perspective. Do look at the site at **** on bonehealth and osteoporosis. Wish I had read more before I started taking the drug. I have now stopped it, convinced that my joint and tendon problems, racing heart and general and increasing awful feelings of.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

I am 30 years old last couple of months I m facing spondylosis problem, what should I do?

1.Increase intake of oily foods that are easily digested, sweet things, purified butter, vegetable soups, milk and almonds. 2.Avoid rice, refined flour, kidney beans, and other foods that cause flatulence. 3.Avoid physical and mental exertion. 4.Get a good night’s sleep. 5.Have regular, gentle body massage with lukewarm sesame oil. 6.Dhanurasan and Ujjai Pranayam are highly recommended. 7.Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 8.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag).....

Do hot fomentation x twice daily. Postural correction- always sit with a small pillow at your low back. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises like bridging and bhujang asana x twice daily. Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees. And get vit d levels checked.

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from Backache(back pain): * First correct your sitting posture. Hi, Back pain is one of the most common reasons people go to the doctor or miss work. Causes of backache include: 1) muscle or ligament strain. Repeated heavy lifting or a sudden awkward movement may strain back muscles and spinal ligaments. 2) bulging or ruptured disks. Disks act as cushions between the bones (vertebrae) in your spine. The soft material inside a disk can bulge or rupture and press on a nerve. 3) Arthritis. Osteoarthritis can affect the lower back. 4) Skeletal irregularities. Back pain can occur if your spine curves abnormally. 5) Osteoporosis. Preventive measures 1) Maintain a healthy weight. 2) Keep your sitting posture correct/straight. Do not slouch 3) Avoid bending from back while lifting something from ground, instead bend at your knees. 4) Hot fomentation to lower back or the painful part. 5) Keep the coir side of your mattress up to give your back firm support and change the mattress if it is curved. 6) Wear comfortable footwear with shock absorbing soles in shoes. In case above measures do not help, take Rhus. Tox-30, 2 drops in 1 tsp water thrice a day for a week and revert back: Now-a-days most backaches are due to Vitamin D deficiency. Sit in sun and expose the long bones and back to sunrays. Also drink 2 glasses of milk daily.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day..
