Hello lybrate-user,
usually aloe gel won't cause allergy unless you are allergic to it. You can use it for undereye bags as it is very effective for dark circles, under eye bags and stress.

Hello, the reasons for amenorrhoea for 4 months can be most likely to be either hypothyroidism, hyperprolactinemia or pcos. These have to be evaluated in detail with a hormonal profile and an ultrasound pelvis. For further discussion you may consult privately, regards.

You must examine yourself with the doctor for the possibility of depression. Stress is definitely a factor but is it to do with depression? You must go and meet with a counselor immediately and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor you must do so and cooperate to your utmost. Please visit these professionals along with your parents. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good nightâs sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least, 30 minutes but not in the scorching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Donât wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive every day and learn to be contented with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

Dear madam, although you do all the right things to take care of your teeth and gums but the real question is and I hope that you are doing it right!
bad odour or halitosis as we dentist know it is a multifactorial phenomenon! it can arise due to problems in teeth, or problems in gums or problem with your digestive system. Improper brushing although you might be doing it twice, thrice or any number of times will not help in effectively removing plaque from the teeth if it is not done the right way and as time goes by plaque turns into a hard mass called calculus! at this stage no amount of brushing can remove the calculus and it can only be removed by a professional oral scaling and prophylaxis procedure. I request you to see your dentist and allow him to evaluate the situation and he could suggest to you about what exactly the problem is and will also give you treatment options and advice on how you could effectively brush and take care of oral hygiene in a better way!

Hi.
As height can be gained till 21 yrs. Of age in males and 18 yrs. And in females, so there is 1 yr. More left to grow further!
medication:
start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - bakson's hite-aid and five phos. - both thrice daily and thuja 1m/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months.
Management:
consume a balanced diet. A person will look a lot shorter when having a plump body. Not only that, being fit by eating right will make you taller and feel better!
eat plenty of lean protein. Lean protein, such as white poultry meat, fish, soy, and dairy, helps promote muscle growth and healthy bones. Simple carbohydrates such as pizza, cakes, sweets, and soda, are the stuff to stay away from.
Eat plenty of calcium. Calcium, found in leafy green vegetables such as spinach and kale, and in dairy (yogurt and milk), helps promote healthy bones.
Get enough zinc. Studies, although they have been inconclusive so far, point to a possible link between zinc deficiencies and stunted growth in boys. Good sources of zinc include oysters, wheat germ, pumpkin and squash seeds, lamb, peanuts, and crab.
Get enough vitamin d. Vitamin d promotes bone and muscle growth in children, and a deficiency has been shown to stunt growth and cause weight gain in teenage girls. Vitamin d can be found in fish, alfalfa, or mushrooms commonly.
60% to 80% of your height is determined by genes!
apart from these:
-exercise throughout the teen years and in puberty. Get out and about and work your muscles for at least 30 minutes each day. Join a gym, join a sports team, if nothing else, walk around. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball.
-sleeping is the time when your body grows, get between 9 and 11 hours of sleep per night if you're a preteen or still younger than 20.
-avoid any bad habit like smoking which affects the height, also avoid anabolic steroids which inhibit bone growth in young children and teens.
-always stand straight instead of hunching your back.
(you can probably increase your height by a few inches with diet and lifestyle changes, especially if you are still in your teens or even your early 20s (for boys).)
get back to me after 4 months for further guidance.
All the best!

Asked for male, 19 years old from Chennai
Almost all height increasing medicines are useless. mostly height depends upon genetic predisposition and lifestyle including physical activity, fulfillment of dietary requirements, environmental conditions and frequency of illness I.e. general health condition.
If you are observing poor attainment of height with respect to your age and other responsible factors, first of all there is need to find out the cause of poor growth, then correction of the underlying cause to attain correct height.
