For couple of days I am feeling confusion my mind is not able to focus. Maybe its because of the medicine I take .i take migraine medicine but for couple of weeks I am not taking any medicine. 1 month ago I went to neurologist and he detected that I am having migraine I take medicine for couple of weeks not I just stopped after that I feel little confused. I am giving some health tips for Migraine headache •1.You can turn off light for some time •2.Apply hot or cold compresses to your head or neck. •Ice packs have a numbing effect, which may dull the sensation of pain. •Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. • •3.Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect. •4.You can take Tea or coffee( but not excess) 5.Sleep well Here are some tips to encourage sound sleep. Establish regular sleep hours. •Minimize distractions. •Your eating habits can influence your migraines. •Be consistent. Eat at about the same time every day. Don't skip meals. I have a severe migraine from many days, no tablets are able to control the pain, is there any good way to control it?

Hello, migraine is a form of headache. The pain is usually throbbing, pulsating and bursting in character. At times, the pain is one sided or may involve the whole head. Such pain may last for hours or even days. It is often accompanied by other symptoms like nausea or vomiting. At the same time, there is increased sensitivity to light and sound. The causes of the problem may vary from one patient to another and so will the final choice of the homoeopathic remedy. Prevention tips:- 1. Keep a headache diary: this may help you in identifying the trigger factors such as foods, activities and weather 2. Exercise regularly: regular exercise, yoga and relaxation techniques such as meditation can also be of great help. 3. Keep regular sleep patterns: sleep adequately. How can I get rid off from migraine. I have been facing this problem for long years.

Although migraine is a genetic disease and patient experiences symptoms for many years, it can be very well controlled with medications and some non pharmacological methods.

Their is no timings in my sleeping. Most of the time I tried to sleep but not able to sleep. Then I thought I had insomnia. But I think in insomnia you won't be able to sleep for a minute. I want to know what happen to me. Sometimes I slept a lot and not able to get up from bed. #helpmeout.

What are the effects of parkinson my hands shake while holding anything someone said it can be parkinson so I wanna know more about it.

Tremor is often the first symptom that people with parkinson's disease or their family members notice. Besides tremor, the most common symptoms include: stiff muscles (rigidity) and aching muscles. One of the most common early signs of parkinson's is a reduced arm swing on one side when you walk.

Hai Ms. Lybrate-user, migraine can be controlled by avoiding the factors giving rise to it. You need to observe the factors that increase your migraine and strat avoiding it. In severe cases, prophylactic medication have to be started. And yoga will help you to decrease the episodes of it.

you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache follow advises given below: You can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. My brother is addicted to spasm proxyvon and alprax from 7-8 years. and he takes both of dem 7-8 pills of each. Every day. He had seizures attack on 31 july. And now on some medications. I am having sleep maintenance insomnia since the last 2.5 months and I am sleeping no mare than 4 hours and even if I am sleeping it's unrefreshed sleep I have tried all sleep hygiene with no help I want to switch to meds are there any.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

How Serious Are Seizures in Children

During a febrile seizure, the body of a child may convulse, shake and contract, the eyes may roll, and he or she may moan or become unconscious. This type of seizure is usually for a few minutes, but in rare cases can last up to 15 minutes.

Febrile seizures stop on their own while the fever persists until treated. While some children may feel sleepy afterwards, others do not have lasting effects.

Seizures in toddlers may be caused due to the following factors

  • Epilepsy - Epilepsy is defined categorically as two or more seizures without any acute cause. Epilepsy can occur at any age, but it is usually diagnosed in infants and young children.
  • Body temperature - Body temperature may indicate a crisis in small children. High body temperatures or low body temperature can cause seizures in a toddler. These types of seizures occur only once or twice in children two years or younger, often after an illness. This type of seizure due to the fortification of the body temperature is considered a febrile convulsion.
  • Dehydration - Febrile seizures can also occur due to dehydration. Dehydration is a direct result of previous illness that included sweating and fever.
  • Physical condition - A child who is in poor physical condition can also be prone to seizures. Malnutrition or a body weakened by disease or illness makes small children more susceptible to crises.
  • Family History - Family history can play a role in toddlers or children with seizures. If a family member suffered  from the tendency or had convulsions, particularly febrile seizures as a child, this trait can be inherited.

Treating febrile seizures

If your child has a febrile seizure, stay calm and:

  • Make sure your child is in a safe place and does not fall or hit something hard
  • Place your child on his side to prevent choking
  • Watch for signs of breathing difficulties, including any colour change in the face of your child
  • If the seizure lasts more than a few minutes or your child turns blue, it may be a more serious type of seizure; connect with doctors immediately

Febrile seizures can be frightening to witness, but remember they are fairly common and are not usually a symptom of a serious disease, and in most cases does not lead to other health problems.
