Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. You are still 15 is a good sigh. You still can increase your height with spinal stretching asana. There is some yogasana which surely going to help you to increase your height. To weight gain you should eat high energy high protein food like milk and milk products eggs, beans, chicken, khajur, almond cashew nuts. Etc. All you require is proper diet and exercise schedule.

Hi lybrate-user. Add pet weight your weight proportion is lit bit high. You just carry your gym work add diet of possible, mean don't eat extra calories. Avoid -->junk food, sweet food, fatty diet. Eat fresh leafy vegetables daily eat fruits. Skip dinner, better go with fruits and soups. Easily you might loose weight.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

lybrate-user, With a BMI of 25.39 kgs/M2, you are overweight. Ideal weight for you should be 60 kgs. Hypothyroidism if not in control, it does increase weight. It is important to keep TSH levels between 3 to 4 mU/L for keeping all symptoms under check. Even efforts to reduce weight will be fruitful only with lower TSH value. As regards diet, you have to plan a balanced diet with low aft and low carbohydrate, giving exact calories based on ideal body weight and extent of daily exercise. Plus exercise for at least 1 hour a day. It is beeter if you join a gym and do workouts under a professional guidance. Thanks.

There are no food items that can specifically bring about changes in your arms. Do not expect such things as there is nothing scientific about it. Invest time in healthy habits (eating healthy and balanced diet and exercising every day. Join a gym if needed ). Go for regular health checkup with your family physician to keep yourself fit and healthy. Following these simple tips will definitely make you strong and make your arms look better.

Hello less weight is sometimes common according to age. Ayurveda believes in digestion not into giving heavy food for weight gain. According to ayurveda, food which are easy to digest but nutrient can gain weight. But I need detait history for perfact solution. Like your appetite? bowel habits sleeping habits kind of your work or job life style diet etc. But till you can do following: take daal rice more. Use cow ghee n milk. Avoid over eating start massage with til oil in morning, after that, do exercise whatever you want. Then bath focus in yourself avoid stress anger fear take ajvayan 1 tsp after meal. Start chyavanprash in morning.

Hi, according to your height your weight is too low. Do regular exercise. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Begin your day with a bowl of overnight soaked soyabean also. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before meals. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.

You need to eat some carbohydrates before going for a run and protein after finishing your run. Eat frequent meals through out the day. And increase your protein intake. Underweight is a term describing a person whose body weight is considered too low to be healthy. The definition usually refers to people with a body mass index (bmi) of under 18.5 a weight 15% to 20% below that normal for their age and height group. Low weight may be due to improper diet, reduced assimilation from intestine, illness, metabolism, genetics etc. Thus first we have to rule out any such condition, with this have a healthy diet with more proteins (legumes, eggs, fish, lean meat, vegetables and fruits, drink plenty of water and go for regular exercise. A homoeopathic constitutional treatment will definitely help you a lot.

Weakness is a result of lack of physical or muscle strength. If you are feeling that extra effort is required to move your arms, legs, or other muscles, it could also be a result of any disease, illness and too much activity at one time and not taking the food to match the amount of physical effort you are doing. Sometimes low levels of minerals (electrolytes), such as potassium or sodium also result in body weakness. Other important reason could be the problems with your thyroid gland. Because your thyroid gland is responsible for regulating the way the body uses energy. A low thyroid level can cause fatigue, weakness, laziness, weight gain etc. And a high thyroid level can cause fatigue, weight loss, muscle weakness etc. Sometime because of stress you may feel disinterest in your routine works. Since the reasons for your weakness are not known, I shall advise the following - 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Weight gain is muscle gain and not fat gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fruits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated.
