Hi Sir, I got a wound on my tongue from 2 days back. While drinking or eating I am getting pain. Can you suggest me what should I do?

PCAD, MCID Implant, BDS, Advanced Aesthetics
Dentist, Chandigarh
The problem you are suffering from right now is due to the tongue bite .it is usually self limiting condition and will Heal in a couple of days .in the meantime you can avoid eating hot and spicy food items. If the tongue bite is repeated then you must see a dentist so that the exact cause of frequent tongue bite can be sorted out.

All the toothpastes contains only one foaming agent called SODIUM LAURL SULPHATE, which is responsible to remove dirt.. all the other promises done by them is just MARKETING GIMMICK.

There are some small round wounds in my mouth and that is very painful, please suggest me a remedy.

Right now I’ve done filling in my left upper 2nd & 3rd last teeth and doctor said to me it’s needed to do ‘root canal’ so, my question is how many days/months we can hold and after do it this treatment? Because doctor said to me it’s really needed.

Thanks for the query As you mentioned you got fillings done recently and if you are comfortable and fine and don't have any painkiller than no need for RCT. But if you still have pain or discomfort than better go for RCT. Sometime after filling teeth might not trouble for longer period. So my advice to you is if it pains than go for RCT.

Nothing to worry. Visit the doc, let him get used to the atmosphere of the clinic /hospital n get him treated. He mite be a bit fussy but you can make him understand that he would get whiter brighter teeth.

According to your history and site of pain, there are chances that 1) your wisdom tooth is causing pain 2) some decayed tooth is causing pain 3) gum infection may be there 4) if nothing from above than consult ent specialist as soon as possible.
