Actually, eggs have lutein, which is immensely useful to make your skin elastic and hydrated. Egg protein has an important role to play for repairing of tissues and tightening the skin. Hi lybrate-user, thats very unfortunate. I see that you have already taken some medications for the same. Let me suggest some home remedies. 1. Tea tree oil - Recommended for tinea faciei because of its anti-fungal and anti-septic properties. Topical applications are recommended with the help of a cotton ball. Daily repetitions are indicated until the first results become noticeable. It is recommended to warm the tea tree oil a little before actually applying it on the skin. 2. Garlic or garlic extract - Recommended because of its anti-fungal properties. Regular use is indicated for effective results. If you decide to use regular garlic, then cut it into slices, apply it directly on the skin and bandage the area. The best results are when the garlic is made into a paste, applied on the skin and left there over the night 3. Apple cider vinegar - Natural anti-fungal properties. Topical applications are recommended with the help of a cotton ball. Daily repetitions are indicated until the first results become noticeable. Complete removal of the fungal infectious agent. 4. Coconut oil - Natural healing properties. Recommended for cases with intense itchiness. Overnight applications are most recommended 5. Turmeric - Apply fresh turmeric on the skin with the help of a cotton ball. Daily repetition of application Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Dear, *To control the oily secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive oily secretion on face. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, joggong 10 to 15 minutes. Do long breathing pranayams daily from 5 to 10 minutes. • Drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. * Apply rose water on your face daily for 5 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. *Apply cucumber juice mixed with curd for 5 minutes and rinse with water.

Homoeopathic treatment UNDER EYE CREAM ( BAKSON) Apply at night under the eye in circular fashion GLOWCARE DROPS ( LORDS) 20 drops in 20 ml freh water 3 times daily Take a good Iron rich diet likeApple,Pomegranate,Spinach nd all other green vegetables 2 glass milk daily 6-8 glass extra water daily Try to have a sound sleep HOME REMEDIES Slice up a papaya. Papaya fruit contains the enzyme papain. Papain helps exfoliate the skin, making way for new skin cells to emerge. Papaya also contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E, so it's a dark spot fading superstar. Papain is most concentrated while the papaya is still green, but you can use riper fruit as well. Peel and remove the seeds from a papaya, and try one of the following treatments: 1. Slice a piece off of the papaya, and lay or hold it on the dark spots that you want to get rid of. Hold it there for 20-30 minutes. Repeat twice a day for best results. 2.Make a papaya facial mask. Cut the papaya into chunks, then use a blender or food processor to blend the fruit into a smooth paste. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, then rinse well.

What Are The Risk Factors of Craniofacial Surgery?

M.Ch (Plastic)
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Chennai
What Are The Risk Factors of Craniofacial Surgery?

A craniofacial surgery is required when there are deformities or abnormalities present in the head or face area of the patient. Depending on the type of deformity, a craniofacial surgery is done to repair or reconstruct it.

The areas that come under a craniofacial surgeon's domain are the cranium (skull), the brain, the face, skin on the face, facial bones, and the nerves. For this reason, in order to conduct craniofacial surgery, a neurosurgeon and a cosmetic surgeon may often work together.

The time taken for completing a craniofacial surgery may vary between four hours and twelve hours.

Why do you need a craniofacial surgery?

There may be multiple reasons why a patient would require craniofacial surgery. These are:

  1. Tumors in the head or face region are one of the most common causes behind this type of surgery. The surgeries conducted to remove these tumors may sometimes lead to the formation of deformities in the region. A craniofacial surgery is conducted in order to correct them.
  2. This kind of surgery can also be used to correct abnormalities formed as a result of injuries or wounds on the face, the jaw or the head.
  3. Some patients may also undergo a craniofacial surgery in order to correct defects that they were born with. Such defects include Apert Syndrome (a syndrome characterized by the premature fusion of certain bones in the skull), cleft palate or cleft lip and craniosynotosis (premature fusion of certain bones in the skull).

Risks related to Craniofacial Surgery:

Certain risks are associated with this type of surgery. These are:

  1. A craniofacial surgery is conducted after putting the patient under general anesthesia. As a result of this, the patient may suffer from breathing problems, blood clots, infections and blood loss. He or she may also react to the medicine in an unwanted way.
  2. As a result of the surgery, the patient may also lose their bone grafts partly or wholly. He or she may go through cranial nerve dysfunction or damage in the brain. The formation of permanent scars is another possible risk of a craniofacial surgery. Some patients, especially children who are of growing age, may need a follow up surgery later on.
  3. Certain patients can face more risks as compared to other patients. These include patients who are malnourished, or suffer from other illnesses like lupus. Those that have suffered nerve damage in the past are likelier to develop complications. Smoking is also another risk factor.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water.
