I am 47 years old and I am suffering from acidity problem since last 3-4 yrs. If I fell pain in any part of the body n if I press there air is released through mouth. I also often get gases. I hv to go to toilet twice a day. My MC periods hv been stopped since last 7 yrs. please help me getting rid of this.

Your problems are not related to the menses stopping (menopause) but it is related to" what you eat" perhaps your digestion system has been affected. You must seek an advice from a gastroenterologist or a gen surgeon who can help you. Acidity occurs due to excess gastric acid. Either it can be secreted more due to hurry, stress, worry and spicy food intake or it can be due to erratic food habits which prevent neutralisation of the acid produced. E prolonged starving between meals, starvation, etc it would be best to space out your meal into 5-6 meals per day, rather than just having lunch and dinner. So eat small amounts every 2 hourly. This will help neutralise the acid produced and prevent a build up avoid excess consumption of tea / coffee.(not more than 2 / day) eat high fiber foods like carrot, radish, beet, cucumber, watermelon, oranges, sweet lime etc. This prevents gas formation and helps smooth motion eat fresh curds (dahi) 1 small bowlful, every day. Drink 2-3 liters of water per day. All this will help you. In addition you must take medicines to reduce acidity as prescribed.

Hi, I have been suffering from Abdominal pain from past 1 years & recent got a colonoscopy test done, in Terminal ileum found few ulcers present, biopsy was done to check whether its an crohn's. But the report shows features consists with Crohn's disease after that doctor suggested to do a Stools calprotectin to check any active inflammation, but the report was negative (less than 5), but I still have abdominal pain. Do I have crohn's?

Hello, Anuja, There are lots of other foods you can have instead of egg and milk like whole grains, pusles and legumes, white meat and fishes, nuts and oil seeds, soyabeans and its products etc. Combine them with a balanced diet consisting all nutrients, drink plenty amount of fluid, avoid foods and drinks higher in calorie but empty in nutrients, do regular physical exercise, have your food small amount frequently and get 8 hrs. sound sleep.

Lychee Benefits and Side Effects in Hindi - लीची के फायदे और नुकसान

चीन में चार हजार वर्षों से उगाई जा रही लीची को अब भारत, दक्षिणपूर्व एशिया और दक्षिण अफ्रीका के कुछ हिस्सों में उगाया जाता है. सोपबेरी परिवार के इस सदस्य का वैज्ञानिक नाम लीची चिनेंसिस है. नर्म सफ़ेद और गुलाबी रंग की लीची, उष्ण या उपोष्णकटिबंधीय जलवायु में उगाने के अनुकूल होता है. बिहार के मुजफ्फरपुर के अलावा ये भारत के असम, उत्तरप्रदेश, झारखंड, त्रिपुरा बंगाल, पंजाब, उत्तराखंड और पश्चिम बंगाल में उगाया जाता है. इसमें कई पोषक तत्वों की मौजूदगी होती है. इनमें प्रमुख हैं विटामिन बी-6, सी, राइबोफ्लेविन, नियासिन, फास्फोरस, मैग्नीशियम, पोटेशियम, तांबा और मैंगनीज आदि तत्व पाए जाते हैं. इसके अलावा लीची में आहार फाइबर, पॉलीफेनॉलिक यौगिक पाया जाता है. आइए लीची के फायदे और नुकसान को जानें.

1. ह्रदय को स्वस्थ रखने में
लीची में मौजूद एंटीऑक्सीडेंट कार्डियोवैस्कुलर स्वास्थ्य को बढ़ावा देने में मददगार साबित होता है. इसमें पाया जाने वाला ऑलिगोनल नाम का एक यौगिक नाइट्रिक ऑक्साइड के उत्पादन को बढ़ाता है. नाइट्रिक ऑक्साइड रक्त वाहिकाओं को विस्तारित करके रक्त संचार को नियमित करता है. ये रक्त को पम्प करके दिल पर दबाव डालता है जिससे कि ह्रदय के समग्र स्वास्थ्य में सुधार होता है.
2. आँखों के लिए
लीची में पाया जाने वाला फाइटोकेमिकल्स, एंटीऑक्सीडेंट और एंटीनाइप्लास्टिक गुणों से प्रचुर होता है. यानी ये कोशिकाओं की असामान्य वृद्धि को रोक सकता है. इससे मोतियाबिंद की संभावना भी काफी हद तक कम होती है. 
3. रक्त परिसंचरण के लिए
लीची में आयरन और कॉपर की प्रचुरता होती है. ये दोनों ही खनिज रक्त परिसंचरण से जुड़े हैं. लाल रक्त कोशिकाओं में आयरन जबकि आरबीसी के गठन में कॉपर की भूमिका होती है. इसलिए लीची के सेवन से रक्तपरिसंचरण दुरुस्त होता है और कोशिकाओं में ऑक्सिजन की आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित होती है.
4. वजन बढ़ाने में
लीची में मिठास तो भरपूर होती है लेकिन इसमें कैलोरी काफी कम मात्रा में होती है. 100 ग्राम लीची में मात्र 66 कैलोरी पाई जाती है इसलिए ये वजन कम करने वाले लोगों के लिए आदर्श खाद्य पदार्थ है. रसदार होने के कारण इसमें पानी और फाइबर भी पाया जाता है. इसमें थोड़ी वसा भी पाई जाती है.
5. पाचन तंत्र के लिए
लीची एक रेशेदार फल है, और इसलिए इसमें फाइबर की प्रचुरता होती है. फाइबर छोटी आंत की मांसपेशियों की गति को उत्तेजित करके भोजन की गुंजाइश में वृद्धि करती है. जिससे कि यह गैस्ट्रिक और पाचन के रस को उत्तेजित करता है और कब्ज एवं अन्य जठरांत्र संबंधी विकार को दूर करता है.
6. यौन इच्छाएं बढ़ाने में
लीची में पाया जाने वाला पोटेशियम, तांबा और विटामिन सी कामेच्छा को उत्तेजित करता है. इसलिए लीची के सेवन से मनुष्य में यौन इच्छाएं बढ़ती हैं. यानी आप लीची का प्रयोग एक प्राकृतिक यौन इच्छा बढ़ाने वाले दवा के रूप में भी कर सकते हैं.
7. बालों के लिए
लीची में मौजूद तमाम पोषक तत्व हमारे बालों के लिए भी काफी लाभदायक सिद्ध होते हैं. बालों को कई बाहरी समस्याओं जैसे कि तनाव या प्रदुषण का सामना करना पड़ता है. ऐसे में बाल अपनी प्राकृतिक चमक खोने लगते हैं. इसे बचाने के लिए लीची के लुग्दी से बालों को मैश करें तो फायदा होगा.
8. रक्तचाप को नियंत्रित करने में
इसमें मौजूद पोटेशियम की भरपूर मात्रा हमारे शरीर में द्रव की मात्रा को बनाए रखने में काम आती है. द्रव के संतुलन से उपापचय और रक्तचाप दोनों नियंत्रित होते हैं. पोटेशियम रक्त वाहिकाओं और धमनियों के तनाव को भी कम करता है.
9. एंटीवायरल बिमारियों में
कई शोधों में देखा गया है कि लीची एंटीवायरल बिमारियों से मुकाबला करने में सक्षम है. इसमें पाए जाने वाले प्रोएथोकेनडिंस नाम का एक पॉलिफेनॉल के कारण ऐसा हो पाता है. इसके अलावा इसमें लाइचीटैनिन ए-2 नाम का एक यौगिक भी पाया जाता है. जिससे कि वायरस को रोका जा सकता है.
10. कैंसर से बचाव में
कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारियों के रोकथाम के लिए भी लीची का प्रयोग किया जा सकता है. इसके लिए भी लीची में पाया जाने वाला प्रोएथोकेनडिंस नाम का एक पॉलिफेनॉल यौगिक ही है. दरअसल ये विटामिन सी की तुलना में ज्यादा प्रभावी तरीके से मुक्त कणों को निष्क्रिय करते हैं. इसके अलावा इसमें कैंसर के खतरे को कम करने वाला कार्बनिक यौगिक भी है.
11. प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने में
लीची में मौजूद विटामिन सी की वजह से हमारे शरीर के प्रतिरोधक क्षमता में वृद्धि होती है. ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि ये एक प्रमुख एंटीऑक्सिडेंट है. ये सफ़ेद रक्त कोशिकाओं की गतिविधि को प्रोत्साहित करके प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली को मजबूत करता है.
12. त्वचा के लिए
इसमें मौजूद विटामिन इ त्वचा में निखार लाने के साथ-साथ सन बर्न, फफोले, लालिमा, दर्द और जलन जैसी समस्याओं को भी दूर करने का काम करता है. इसके अलावा ये त्वचा के दाग-धब्बों को भी दूर करता है.

लीची के नुकसान

  • शुगर के मरीज इसका प्रयोग सावधानी से करें.
  • लीची के प्रयोग से कुछ लोगों को एलर्जी भी हो सकती है.
  • ये कई बार शरीर के पोषक तत्वों को संतुलित भी कर सकती है.
  • लीची हमारे शरीर में हार्मोनल असंतुलन भी करती है.
  • गर्भवती एवं स्तनपान कराने वाली महिलाएं इसे सावधानीपूर्वक खाएं.
     

MRI IMPRESSION 29 August 2016 -Posterior diffuse disc herniation at L4 -5 level with bilateral ligamentum flavum hypertrophy causing narrowing of bilateral neural recesses with compression of bilateral traversing nerve roots at same level. -Posterior diffuse disc bulge at L5-S1 level indenting ventral thecal space at same level -Changes of lumbar spondylosis I was having pain at my right hip joint on 15/8/16. It went unbearable extending to RT leg. On 3rd September night as usual on bed all the 24 hours trying to sleep on 4th at 5 am all my pain went. Till then no pain but having burning sensation on right foot, tingling, falling rt foot asleep when I sit on chair. Please advise:- 1. Surgical intervention required? Or 2.Pregabalin,Tolperisone, methylcobalamin,Calcium and D3 with rest will cure me fully? Or 3. Somekind of spinal exercises also required? ERODHA.

I had my periods during the 1st week of august and my periods stayed for about 10 days and then on the 26th of august I had unprotected sex but took an ipill within 1 hour but I still haven't had any withdrawal bleeding. Could I be pregnant? When should I take a test?

Its not always that you get withdrawal bleeding after I pill. If you miss your period then do urine pregnancy test done.
