Try to wake up at 11. Then 10 and gradually to the time desired by you. 1. Avoid caffeine found in coffee, tea, chocolate, cola, and some pain relievers.[four to six hours before bedtime.] 2. Quiet, dark, and cool environment can help promote sound sleep. [use heavy curtains, or an eye mask to block light, and also keeping computers, tvs, and other work materials out of the room will help promote mental bonding between your bedroom and sleep] 3. Avoid stressful, stimulating activities like doing work, discussing emotional issues. Physically and psychologically stressful activities can cause the body to secrete the stress hormone cortisol, which is associated with increasing alertness.

Dear Doctor, I am suffering from severe shoulder pain for the past 2 years. Night sleep is very much disturbed. Neck pain is also giving much trouble. Cortisone shoulder injection also failed. No massage, physiotherapy exercises, ointment etc. Gives temporary relief to some extent only. Pl. Advise SKsamy.

I am 19 years old I get frequent night fall three times in a week. Is it harmful? Ok now what is actual mean of masturbation? Is this means just thinking? Ok what if I stop masturbation? My night fall can be controlled? Some Dr. says that masturbation is good for health is it true. IMPORTANT I actually get night fall at early morning. Dear lybrate-user, night falls as you have mentioned is not related with masterbation. It maybe due to sleep disorder which can be confirmed only after detailed history. Masterbation is not thinking only, it involves one s own involvement. It is not like good or bad. If done, not harmful to the body but within limits.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. I think you may be having a strain or a tendinitis if there is no associated injury. Can you tell me whether you have any swelling, or any other s/s of inflammation etc? my advise will be initially to restrict your sporting activities, give adequate rest to limb till pain subsides, ice packs for local application, physical therapy and gentle anti inflammatory medications. Most of the patients will recover within 2-3 weeks with these measures but if your symptoms increase or do not subside, kindly contact me as we might have to investigate you and get some investigations done do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Pain in the legs can occur as a result of conditions that affect bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels, nerves, or skin. Leg pain can occur in the foot, ankle, knee, behind the knee, thigh, down the back of the leg, or in any part of the leg. It can occur at night, while lying down, or while running or exercising, depending upon the cause. Typically, the leg pain is a result of tissue inflammation that is caused by injury or disease. Either injury or chronic disease can cause inflammation to any of the tissues of the leg and lead to leg pain. Since the leg contains a number of different structures and tissue types, a wide variety of conditions and injuries can cause leg pain. Depending on the cause of the pain, other symptoms, like weakness, numbness, throbbing, cramps, aching, or a tingling sensation, may accompany leg pain. Diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage fromdiabetes) is a common cause of tingling, burning, and numbness in the legs that can at times be painful. For diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, it is important to differentiate the exact type and location of any pain in the legs. Peripheral artery disease can cause claudication, or pain that occurs in the legs usually whenwalking or exercising. Blood clots (deep vein thrombosis) can be another cause of leg pain. Pain in the knee and ankle joints of the leg is common with the arthritis conditions. The pain of sciatica (from disc disease of the spine) may radiate down the leg and is another common cause of leg pain. Homoeopathic medicines if taken based on symptom similarity will give you a quick and permanent cure.

I have been suffering from sleep apnea since last 7-8 years when I used to wake up early in morning 3-4 am with bad dream and huge headache along with weight loss . One of the top doctor at Sir Gangaram Hospital advised me Rivotril 0.5 mg for faster relief which did give me sleep also allowed me to regain weight over 5-6 years. But I wanted to get rid of my dependence on sleep medicine and went to a sleep specialist who advised me sleep test. Report indicted I am having excessive snoring with oxygen deprivation which is disturbing my sleep. My AHI is 11.6 /hr with minimum oxygen saturation at 91%. He advised use of CPAP m/c on trial for 7 days. I could use CPAP only for 3-4 days as it puts me into inconvenience specially my upper jaw becomes painful and tight in the morning besides other inconvenience of using this mask. While morning walk and meditation has allowed me to get rid of medicine for last 10 days. I still get restless sleep after 3-4 am and headache in morning and not completely cured. I had front upper 3 teeth crowned (middle teeth has to be removed and 2 side teeth crowned in order to have front look intact) around same time (8 years back) and feel the less gap in 3 crowned front upper teeth and raised portion could be troubling me for lack of oxygen or when I wear mask for CPAP. Can you please advise what should I do as this problem is spoiling my health and I am determined to get rid of this.

You get your body tired with running or or jogging or gyming, once a while mastrubation good for body and mind but excesssive mastrubation is not good in long run and sorry to say you may get in to this which may lead to errectile dysfunction when you need the the most. Pl do not do mastrubation with visualizing pornography you have double the losss.

Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.
