I have started going for job from past 5 months. Due to that I don't know how my weight got increased little by little. I am very disappointed for it. I do not eat much. I eat only vegetables and chapathi. I drink green tea every day. I also tried honey water lemon water etc, I did everything. I walk by 3 kms per day. Still no changes. I am very much upset. Pls help me and give me a correct way to reduce weight. I am afraid whether I have some other problem. Why am I gaining but not losing.

Hi Lybrate user, do not need to get panic. This is not a disease but its a condition only. With just diet drinks fat will not get reduced daily walking will not help to reduce the fat but it will make you not to gain more so what you have to do is do regular strenuous exercises like jogging, skipping, jumping jacks this will help to reduce your weight eventually. Do not starve and reduce weight. Cut down junk fatty oily food add more fruit juices to your diet avoid canned food and drinks should take only fresh juices and vegetables. Be positive stress is also a main factor for over weight. So be calm and do regular exercises.

Start your day with luke warm lemon water, then have a cup of green tea with 2 high fibre biscuits. Then go for a healthy breakfast like oats idly, oats, moong daal cheela, oats upma, milk + musseli, in mid- morning you can take a small glass of butter milk then in lunch have 2 chapati +veg+curd+salad after half an hour have a cup of green tea then in evening have fruit chaat and have a light dinner like 1-2 bowl of soup + salad. Avoid oily and junk food, refined cereals etc. Do not skip any of your meals. Team Nutrihealth.

Hello you need to understand the concept of weight loss. It's a gradual process that requires cut down in calories under the guidance of a dietitian and regular exercise. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Avoid fried foods, sweets, carbonated drinks and processed foods. Include whole grains, sprouts, seasonal fruits and vegetables, salad vegetables like cucumber, kakri, onion, tomato etc. Include green tea 4-5 times a day. Drink plenty of water. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Take flaxseed powder 1 tsp with lukewarm water on empty stomach. You can have baked samosa and dark chocolate 1 square just for controlling cravings. Thank you.

Hi, you should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes daily. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Include more fruits and vegetables in your diet. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night and don't skip breakfast. Avoid junk food and oily food. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one cup of water..If you use freshly ground black pepper, then just add one-quarter teaspoon...Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach....Do this daily for at least three months.. .take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....
