This is regarding severe back pain from last 5 month Dr. suggested for MRI as xray dnt reveal anything.
Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am doing exercise ealy morning going running about 20min. My legs are still paining in between muscles and ankle. When I sit on ground for about 10 min or more I get hard to stand up there no pain but feels have no energy to stand up. Let me what to do.

Its protein deficiency which causes muscle fatigue. Whenever we start exercising our body's protein need also increases. Intially start with walking for 15 min then 20.25. 30. And so on gradually. Then slowly introduce running. And improve your diet with protein rich food. All the best.

You seem to be suffering from plantar fascitis. This condition is characterised by inflammation of plantar fascia which is a fascia extending from heel bone to toes. Most cases can be managed by appropriate lifestyle modifications and medication with exercises. 1. Reduce body weight as obesity will aggravate the stress on heel. 2. Avoid exercises like running / walking on hard surfaces. Stop such activities when you start developing pain. 3. Roll your feet on bottle of cold water for 20 mins 4 times a day or can apply ice pack. 4. Use shoes with silicone sole inserts. 5. Do calf muscle and heel stretches daily. 6. Avoid prolonged standing or sitting. 7. Use night splint to keep foot flexed at night. Stop using it once pain is relieved. 8. Use analgesics like ibuprofen for decreasing pain and inflammation. With proper lifestyle changes as above 90 % patients have relief and functionality. Only 10% patients would require surgical intervention like plantar fascia release or gastrocnemius recession.

Hello Sir I am 50 years old woman my weight is 50 kg. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis since last one year. As written on prescription OA knee. Doc wrote me rejoint and Vit D3 for three months. Which I had regularly. My knee pain is not very severe though. Kindly advice me If I need to take rejoint and vit D3 regularly or should I stop it after using it for three months? How to prevent further damage to the knee Sir? I do regular walking and quite active. Thank you Sir.

If your vit D level is within n normal limit then no need to take more supplements, so get the blood test repeated for the same and keep vit D level normal by sitting in sunlight for 10-15 min everyday, take milk, egg yolks, mushrooms. Besides that you should be doing knee strengthening exercise everyday after consulting a physiotherapist. Also omega 3 is good for joints. Can take fish, avocado,nuts for that.

Dear sir/madam I am having a very peculiar pain below the neck from past one year. That pain sometimes radiates in the chest region and lower back. Before a year when I realised about the pain I use to do heat therapy at home .it use to pain during bathing and walking. I use to have shortness of breath. My bp suddenly rose one day and I had to consult the doc. The doc did not understand the problem. Later I consulted homeopath and general physician but they told me to consult a neurologist. My ECG report and spine x ray report was normal. But bp was 200 which came down after I took medication. I do not have any bp problem. Few months later the bp problem was gone and suddenly my mouth and left part got numb as if I had a paralytic attack this happened twice but that too stopped. Now at present whenever I eat food I get pain exactly below left shoulder. This pain retains till partially food gets digested and till gas comes out. For this I take dabur pain hara from past several months. It gives me relief from gas and the pain too. I get unbearable pain sometimes. After eating my wife massages that area below left shoulder resulting in burping and finally pain comes down. Besides whenever I get depressed or frightened I get severe pain in that area. Honestly speaking I live in a very small town where neurologists are not available. And most important thing is that I am going through financial crisis and currently cannot afford the consultation and treatment charges. I am not able to understand what problem am I facing exactly. Please help me find a solution in the best possible way. I will be very grateful to you ever after. I am suffering from past one year. I hope you understand my problem.

Sir, you need to consult a cardiologist, you will require Echo and an angiogram, because your symptoms suggest that you probably have a blockage. Also the weakness you have mentioned is called a TIA, it is a stroke which has luckily resolved spontaneously. This can be very dangerous, so kindly consult a cardiologist and a Neurologist ASAP so that you can be put on medical therapy. None of this can be treated without investigations, so even though you have mentioned your financial issues, for your safety you take consultations with a cardiologist and neurologist in person.

Hello sir, Blood test is normal, don't worry. Various causes for knee pain without proper examination and history can't diagnosis properly. Consult your physiotherapist. For pain reduction. Apply hot or ice fermentation 3-4 times daily. Learn and do mild stretch calf muscles. Avoid long time standing, walking, floor sitting.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -Apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --While sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -Some Physiotherapy treatment like IFT can give you some relief . -A physical therapist can do detail assessment what causing you pain and tell you when to begin stretching and strengthening exercises and how to do them.

You should go to some physiotherapist for proper diagnosis. May be your lower back muscles are tight or weak then you should do strengthening exercises but that too should be taught by a physiotherapist. Thanks.

When leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. Wrap a few ice cubes (or a bag of frozen peas) in a thin towel. Apply this pack on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, while keeping the leg(s) elevated. Do this a few times a day. Note: Do not apply ice directly on the skin, as it may cause frostbite. 2. Massage -- Massage promotes faster recovery from muscle damage that causes leg pain. 10 minutes of massage therapy attenuates inflammatory signaling after exercise-induced muscle damage. In addition, massage improves blood circulation and helps relieve stress and anxiety. Rub some warm olive, coconut or mustard oil on the affected area. Using gentle yet firm strokes, massage your legs for about 10 minutes. Do this 2 or 3 times daily as needed. You can also use a self-massage device or apply pressure to sore muscles using a tennis ball.

You need calf stretching and hamstrings stretching exercises. Soft heel footwear. Some more exercises and hot and cold alternate bath
