5 Useful Tips to Prevent Hair Fall

Hair fall is influenced by a number of factors including a poor diet, unhealthy lifestyle, poor circulations, stress etc. Hence the best way to treat this condition is not with topical products but by attacking the root cause  and living a healthier lifestyle. Here are some things you could do to prevent hair fall.

1. Have a well-balanced diet

Your diet plays a crucial role in keeping your hair healthy. When your body faces a deficiency of a certain nutrients they are taken away from hair and diverted to other organs. Hence, hair are the first to see the effects of nutritional deficiencies. Hair are primarily made up of protein and hence a deficiency of protein can cause breakage and hair fall. Along with proteins, one must also include plenty of vitamins B and C, zinc, copper and iron in our daily diet. This nourishes the hair and strengthens it.

2. Drink plenty of water

Biotin is one of the most important vitamins responsible for healthy hair. This vitamin is water soluble and hence in order for it to be well absorbed by the body, you must drink plenty of water.

3. Massage your scalp

An oil massage can do wonders for your scalp. It not only keeps the scalp from drying out, but also improves blood circulation. Improved blood circulation helps increase the oxygen count in blood and ensures that nutrients reach your hair roots.

4. Fight stress

Stress is one of the leading cause of premature greying and hair loss. Stress can affect hair loss both directly and indirectly. By disrupting the hair growth cycle it can cause excessive hair fall. It can also reduce your appetite and hence keep you from getting the nutrition necessary for healthy hair. Thus, it is important for you to find a way to deal with stress effectively. Meditation and regular exercise are great ways to beat stress.

5. Get a good night’s sleep

Hair are very sensitive to physiological and emotional changes such as a weakened immune system, hormonal imbalances, physical and mental stamina etc. Not getting adequate sleep can affect all these factors and hence indirectly harm your hair. Poor quality sleep also increases the effects of stress on the body. Hence pay attention to how much sleep you are getting. Create a routine and go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day. Darkening your room and abstaining from watching television or working on your laptop before you go to bed can also make it easier for you to fall asleep.

Conducted a full body test and found I am deficient of iron, vitamin D and B12. Should I consult a GP or Nutritionist? Also, should I take supplements. I already on biotin, finasteride (hair loss)

Animal proteins provide you with an easily absorbed form of iron called heme iron. According to the Office of Dietary Supplements, liver, beef, turkey, chicken and pork supply you with heme iron. Women under the age of 50 need at least 18 milligrams of iron daily, while all other adults need at least 8 milligrams of iron per day. Eating more of these iron-rich proteins may help boost your iron levels. Vegetables and Beans If you prefer not to eat meat, some vegetarian proteins contain a form of iron, called non-heme iron. Absorption of non-heme iron is enhanced when it's consumed with vitamin C or a source of heme iron, according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention. Including more soybeans, lentils, kidney beans, lima beans, navy beans, black beans and pinto beans in your diet helps you get more non-heme iron. Eating leafy greens, such as spinach and kale, boosts your iron intake as well. Seafood Vitamin D is found naturally in very few foods. The best dietary sources of the vitamin are fatty fish, including cod liver oil, swordfish, salmon, tuna fish and sardines. Oysters, tuna fish, crab, shrimp and halibut supply you with iron as well. Adults under 70 years old need at least 600 international units of vitamin D daily to maintain health. If you're over 70 years old, you'll need an additional 200 international units of vitamin D per day. Including seafood regularly in your diet can help you boost vitamin D levels. Fortified Foods In addition to the naturally occurring sources of iron and vitamin D, certain foods are fortified with the nutrients. According to the U. S. Food and Drug Administration, this means the nutrients are added in standard amounts during food processing to improve the nutritional quality of the food. Including more iron-fortified breakfast cereals, oatmeal and bread helps you meet your need for iron, while orange juice, milk, yogurt, cheese and some breakfast cereals contain added vitamin D. Check the food label to see if vitamin D or iron were added. Vitamin B-12, or Cobalamin, is the largest and most complex vitamin currently known to man. A slight deficiency of vitamin B-12 can lead to anemia, fatigue, mania, and depression, while a long term deficiency can cause permanent damage to the brain and central nervous system. Vitamin B12 can only be manufactured by bacteria and can only be found naturally in animal products, however, synthetic forms are widely available and added to many foods like cereals. Vitamin B12 can be consumed in large doses because excess is excreted by the body or stored in the liver for use when supplies are scarce. Stores of B12 can last for up to a year. Below are the top 10 foods highest in vitamin B12 by common serving sizes, click here for high vitamin B12 foods by nutrient density, here for an extended list of vitamin B12 rich foods, and here for other foods high in vitamin B. No evidence that any medicine, cream, herb, powder, exercise or massage works. You can try adding the following in your diet fenugreek (methi), fennel seed (saunf), wild yam (junglee ratalu) and red clover (laal pipatia ghaas) anyway.

One of the most effective remedy to remove tan from body is to bathe with gramflour + milk + Olive oil + turmeric in the evening and liberally massage with almond oil after bathing. Doing this at night is important because in the morning your body may catch dirt due to oils. In the morning chose a mild soap to bathe and apply thick moisturiser.

Do not wash hair with hot water for the very same reason, always use cold water or water at room temperature. Dry and frizzy hair when you walk out of the shower is the indication that the water was too hot for your hair.

Dark underarms are generally caused by sweating, improper cleaning, dead skin cells, and friction caused as a result of different qualities of clothes. In some people dark underarms could be due to the alcohol content in the deodorants or the shaving products that they use. Another common cause of dark underarms is plucking and shaving. Every time you pluck or shave it causes micro-abrasions. These wounds on healing cause darkening of the skin. Tips to help you whiten your underarms in a natural manner: - scrubbing your armpits with an exfoliating scrub of your choice for about five minutes daily is the first step to whiten your dark underarms. - aloe vera gel when rubbed over the underarms in a similar manner also has the same effect as cleansing them. - raw grated potato juice helps bleach your skin and whiten your underarms naturally. - cucumber juice also has the same effect. - regularly rub a slice of lemon over your underarms and see the difference. - also, once you are done with your shower, you could take some baking powder and rub it onto your underarms. - another tip of for whitening dark underarms naturally is using a paste made using one tablespoon curd, one teaspoon milk (natural), and one teaspoon gram flour. Add a little turmeric powder to this paste and liberally apply on your armpits. Wash it completely once it dries off. - mixture made from sandalwood powder and rose water can work wonders and help whiten your underarms. - another mixture that can help is lime juice and coconut oil in equal proportions sprinkled with a dash of turmeric powder. Apply this to your underarms and rinse in about 20 minutes or so. If you are wondering how to whiten your underarms overnight try waxing. Waxing helps you get rid of your underarm hair and also help in the removal of dead skin cells, leaving your underarms looking clean. Medication: apply homeoopathic ointment - medisynth's witch hazel.

I have more pimples on my face and dark spots. What I have to do to require this?

I have more pimples on my face and dark spots.
What I have to do to require this?
The eruption of pimples, black marks and oily face are due to excessive sebum secreted by sebaceous glands and hair follicles especially on the face.. Precautions- * Don't scratch or pinch your pimples This will cause more damage and scars. . * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. .We have good treatment in Homoeopathy without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face wash which is a surface treatment..

It is normal to lose about 30-80 strands of hair in a day. The common reasons behind hair fall are lack of essential nutrients in the body, improper and unhealthy dietary habits, hormonal imbalance, certain medications, dandruff, alopecia and other scalp disorders, stress and tension etc. Natural oils such as coconut, olive, jojoba, almond etc. Can be used to massage the scalp for countering hair fall. Gently massage the scalp prior to head bath twice a week. Also check hemoglobin for anaemia and thyroid status with serum tsh. Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. *hair fall can also result when one indulges in too much drying, blow drying or use of hot curlers. *dandruff can also be great cause behind hair fall. Follow the tips *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. *it is best not to comb the hair while it is wet as this leads to greater chances of hair breakage. For medicine consult privately.
