Hello, I think you need to see a physician! looks like you have two issues here one of urinary infection and second of allergic rhinitis. Make sure your surroundings are not dusty. Use a fresh bedsheet and a new pillow with fresh cover and observe if therz a difference. Have you had your vit d levels checked recently.

Kindlt take, wheat grass juice, 80 ml , empty stomach, twice a day. Take Indukantha ghrita, 20 ml, twice a day in half a glass of hot water. Drink the melted ghrita in water slowly, 1 hour after meals, after breakfast and dinner. Make sure you finish your dinner by 7:30, and take ghrita at 8:30 pm. And dont sleep till 10 pm. Never eat anything untill 2 hrs after intake of ghrita other than warm water, as warm water will digest the ghrita and will make it more effective. Stop tea, coffee, curds and curd products like kadhi etc, spicy food, brinjal. Take bitter gourd, bottle gourd, rama tori, moong daal, khichdi, daliya in your diet regularly. Take Gandhaka rasyana , 2 tabs, twice a day after meals. Continue the regime for 2 months. And keep using no marks cream. Good luck.

Have consulted a doctor for my hair loss problem and according to him having serious hair thinning n low hair density problem and prescribed me minoxidil topical 5%' to use on my scalp and would like to have second opinion if there is any sideeffect of this medicine , if not please advice there is no harm using this for my hair growth.

Hello Mr vinay, I think u must be having androgenetic alopecia. Thats y fall and the thinning is happening. U can very well take minoxidil lotion.its safe to use.

I personally love winters. The chilly season makes me feel fresh and alive. Cozy jumpers, boots, scarves, and what not!

But, unfortunately, winter is the time when our skin does not like to cooperate with us.

If you feel cosmetics and creams are very expensive in the market, home remedies can help provide you moisturized skin during winter. In winter, many of us face the dry skin problem. In the winter the moisture in the skin goes down and skin becomes dry.

As soon as possible dry skin can be treated. During winter, our skin tends to get dry due to the wind blowing outside.

During these months, our skin tends to get dry, itchy, and dull due to lack of moisture. We usually look around for good cold creams and body butters to moisturize dry skin.

Maintaining good health through proper nutrition

Hot showers and baths always feel good in the winter, but when you can, particularly when just washing your face or hands, choose lukewarm water to avoid stripping as many oils away from the skin.

We human are needed to take different types of precautionary measure of our skin and health when weather and climate changes to protect us.

Winter skin care tips for men women


    Try to take the necessary diet in the winter. Try to add the fruit and fruit juice to your diet.
    Apply the petroleum jelly on the face, lips, hands, legs.
    Do not take the hot water baths. The hot water takes out the moisture in the skin then skin becomes dry. So try to avoid the hot and long baths in winter.
    The chapped lips are one of the problems in this winter. Apply the petroleum to the chapped lips.
    Use the lip scrubs for the lip care in the winter.
    Dry skin is the major problem in the winter. Use the natural moisturizer in the winter.
    Try to cover the most of the body with the clothes. Do not expose the skin to the cold air.
    Do not apply the makeup products with high alcoholic content. Do not use the beauty and hair styling products too much in winter.
    Use the natural moisturizers like butter, oils, glycerin, etc, in the winter. Not to choose the chemical moisturizers.
    Try to add the vitamin a, vitamin e rich foods in your diet.
    Stay hydrated in the winter. Try to take the juices and drinks.

This how we actually do we feel look like doing in winter's but this is not how we should protect our skin.

You can read my article on obesity in health tips column in the site, weight gain is the result of sedentary life and overeating do aerobic exercises, jog, skip and run. Eat only half of what you eat now. Avoid or reduce sweets and butter, ghee and food containing these. You need to check for hypothyroid state. Go to lab and test tsh and send me the report in ask privately option.

My son is 32 years old and doing job in corporate sector.Their nature of job is fraught with lot of anxiety. On 18 .03 2015 he measured his BP which showed 130/80 in morning 9 o,clock.There after at 12 noon the physician measured it and told that it is 150/90. I understand high BP at this age is very very damaging.Please advise how to control the BP without resorting to medication.Please note that his cholesterol level is 218.

Cholesterol is borderline high. Otherwise his BP appears to be on upper limit and anxious. Cut down cholesterol and Saturated fat. Let him try meditation and relaxation and investigate thoroughlly if he has essential Hypertension and hen need to control diet and exercise and organize a stress managed lifestyle. Yoga and meditation are advisable along with pranayama, If there is dyslipaedemia needs to take medication/ alternative medication available. Check out all investigations /or check HBA!C too and get back to me. There is no medication at this stage. He can follow natural methods and lets see and also reduce weight and take fruit diet/ alongwith.

It's healthy. The intention behind having the dinner early is to give sufficient time for the food to digest. One should not sleep immediately after consuming food as it can cause regurgitation and indigestion. You can also walk a little after dinner so that digestion gets better. Eat healthy food all the times. Do not overeat or have heavy meals at dinner.

What are the symptoms of typhoid? What are precautions regarding it and how to get cured of it?

Hi. The symptoms of typhoid are as follows: - prolonged pyrexia, usually remittent - headache - abdominal distension - constipation followed by loose motions - malaise - vomitting - dry coated tongue -bradycardia - enlargement of liver and spleen. The duration of the illness is usually about four weeks but may remain for eight weeks or more if untreated. Regarding precautions, be careful while eating outside food. Do not consume uncooked or raw food like vegetable salads, chatnis, buttermilk, lassi, raita, cut fruits, etc. Drink only boiled and cooled water or mineral water. One can even secure himself by taking typhoid vaccine which protects your body for 2 years. Take complete bed rest. Consume high protein diet like sprouts, egg, soya, milk and milk products to regain the energy and strength which is lost due to the infection. Avoid spicy and oil fried food. Consume plenty of fluids. Take the antibiotics prescribed by the doctor for 10-14 days. Avoid outside food and fresh and hot home made food is preferred.

I am diabetic with moderate neuropathy. Bs levels are around 100-110 and 140-150. I am on mixtard insulin 15 15 and gluformin-500 1 1 1/2 1 1/2 per day. Also pregabelin75, 1 1 daily. I am feeling muscle stiffness to walk initially for about 5 minutes then moderately normal. Feet are normal with slight tingling. Suggest homeo medicine.

Earliest thing is you should reduce the weight and start exercising, this will give you good results otherwise you need to go for sleep study on urgent basis, as per your symptoms you are suffering from sleep apnoea and this needs to be addressed as early as possible, its not curable by homeopathy et al.

Dear lybrate user, * do not take a lot of stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation to destress yourself. You can do pranayams or take long deep breaths whlie closing your eyes I a peaceful environment for at least 8-10 minutes. * add protein containing items in your foods for healthy hair growth such as take a bowl of cereal daily and a glass of milk or 100 gm cheese or 1-2 eggs. * to reduce hairfall and whitening of hairs, practice yogasana like shirshasana and sarwangasana only under the guidance of expert. * you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. It increases blood circulation in your scalp and enhances hair growth. * avoid intake of any medicines because they cause toxicity & hairfall. * avoid the excess use of products such as hair colours or shampoo. * take vitamin-e rich foods like dry fruits (almonds, pista etc) daily. * take 1/2 teaspoon of amla powder with water once a day. * apply the egg yolk to the scalp atleast once a week. It gives nourishment to hair root and enhances hair growth.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.
