Hi Lybrate user Use Ashwagandhadi leham 10gm two times a day with milk empty stomach. Take plenty of dry fruits. Take Nutrional proteinious easily digestable fibre Rich diet. Do light exercise Yoga cycling swimming to boost up your digestive power. Tc Thanks Regards.

For gaining weight, you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Along With Calories Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins. Please take fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts. In lunch have multigrain roti + 1bowl dal /palak paneer/ egg white bhurji + 1bowl salad. Evening have fruits shake/lassi/badam shake Dinner: 1-2 paneer stuffed roti/1-2 multigrain roti+ 1bowl dal+ 1bowl salad, After dinner you can take 2 dates / 2 figs with a cup of milk. If you are trying to lose weight, opt for wheatflakes instead of cornflakes as they have higher fibre content and lesser carbohydrates, also use skimmed or double toned milk. Avoid artificial sweeteners as they are known to increase hunger.

Weight gain needs patience and happens gradually with improved appetite and sensible eating. Weight gain needs a healthy wholesome diet with increase in proteins, healthy fats and required carbohydrate intake. Include more of full fat dairy, fish, eggs, chicken, nuts and oilseeds in your diet with ample quantity of fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not skip meals and eat frequently. Do some exercise along so that digestion is good. Take care that you do not have constipation and are properly hydrated. Hi lybrate-user Your ideal weight should be in range of 54 to 73 kg. So I think your weight is completely normal according to your age and height. I would suggest you not to rely on multivitamins but would advice you to take natural pulses, legumes, whole grain and meat if you are non vegetarian.
