Yes you can take. But consult a nearby doc first or send a images here so that I can advice you better. If its a heredity, minoxidil will not help. You can go for a homeopathic treatment.

Hi lybrate-user, 1.Properly wash your face 2.Stay hydrated 3.Limit makeup 4.Wash Pillow Cover and Towels Regularly 5.Do Not Skip Moisturizing 6.Don’t touch your face Your hands encounter grime and bacteria constantly throughout the day. And each time you touch your face, some of those pore-clogging impurities may get transferred to your skin. By all means, if your nose itches, scratch it. But wash your hands regularly, and try to touch your face as little as possible. 7.Limit sun exposure 8.Reduce stress 9.Exercise 10. Eat Healthy: Pimples can be prevented by following a healthy and balanced diet. Reduce carbohydrates, sugar and dairy products and include more vegetables and fruits in the diet. Drink lots of water to remain hydrated and flush out toxins from the body regularly. You can privately chat with us for medicine and proper diet.

Common factor that causes dull skin include dehydration and poor diet. Basically any triggers that deprive your skin of much needed oxygen and nutrients will result in dull skin tone. Lack of exfoliation- the sloughing off the dead skin cells can also causes dull skin. So drink lots of water and eat healthy nutritive diet. Wash it face at least 3 times in a day, you can use mild scrub or any home products (gram flour or wheat flour and 1 pinch of turmeric) for exfoliation. And use berberis aquafolium mother homepathic mother tinture and rose water in same quantity and apply on your face twice in a day. It will help to lighten your pigmentation.

Garlic is a common folk remedy which is used to treat skin fungus at home. Garlic with its natural anti-fungal and antibacterial properties can be used on the area infected by fungus. Garlic has been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years. However, garlic may cause blisters as well as other allergic reactions in some individuals. According to Dr. Rosen or the Medical Center in New Jersey showed that studies have discovered that garlic is effective against a variety of fungal infection, including infections caused by candida as well as other common pathogens. To make use of garlic for skin fungus, you should follow the methods below: Method 1: Take 2 garlic cloves to crush and add several drops of olive oil into to create a good pasteApply the paste over your infected area and wait for 30 minutesWash your affected areas with tepid water and pat dry your skin thoroughlyApply this treatment twice per day till you cure the infection Method 2: Wrap a garlic clove in the gauze, put it in your affected vagina (for vaginal infection) for not over 30 minutesUse this method once per day for a few days Method 3: Add several garlic cloves to your daily diet to boost the healing process of fungal infections.  Or, you can take garlic supplements with the consultations of your doctor. Cautions: If you suffer from an infection causing fever, vomiting, shortness of breath, or muscle weakness, you had better seek for medical attention instantly. Allergic reactions might happen in some people upon using garlic fungus. The side effects might include itching, rash, hives, difficulty breathing, or fever. If you meet this case, eliminate the garlic dressing, consult your doctor.

5 Things To Remove Excess Hair From A Woman's Face!

5 Things To Remove Excess Hair From A Woman's Face!

Are you growing hair in unusual places where you do not want them to be such as on the neck, chest, chin and back? Hirsutism is a medical term, which refers to excess body hair and facial hair in women. It occurs because of an increased production of androgens or male hormones. The increased sensitivity of the androgen receptors in the skin follicles also causes hirsutism.

Diagnosis
Hirsutism is diagnosed using two methods:

  1. The Ferriman Gallwey model involves the visual inspection for detecting the presence of excess hair. The amount of hair growth in nine areas of your body is quantified in this model. However, this is not an ideal method as many women shave or pluck their hair.
  2. Blood test for excess androgens is another method for diagnosis of hirsutism. The different tests include free testosterone, total testosterone and DHEAS or dehydropiandosterone sulphate. Women with PCOS are likely to have increased levels of free testosterone in their body because of the absence of enough sex hormone binding globulin.

Removing excess hair
There are several ways by which you can get rid of excess body and facial hair. They are as follows:

  1. Plucking is a way of hiding hair during early stages. It is an easy fix. However, plucking from the follicle may lead to the distortion of the follicle, which may cause hair to thicken and turn darker.
  2. Depilatories is another way of removing excess hair due to hirsutism. Depilatories remove excess hair by the use of a chemical which dissolves the hair.
  3. Waxing is also effective for removing excessive hair. In waxing, warm wax is spread over the affected areas; a strip of cloth is placed over it, and rubbed on the wax. After holding the skin tight, the cloth is pulled off.
  4. Several medicines are used for dealing with hirsutism in women such as oral contraceptives, which help in removing the amount of androgens in the body. The androgen production may decrease as a result of oral contraceptives. The amount of circulating concentration of androstenediones and total testosterone are also reduced. Anti androgen medicines are also prescribed in some cases.
  5. Electrolysis is opted as a measure of managing excessive hair. In the process, a needle gets inserted along the hair shaft. After this, an electric pulse is sent to the root. This makes the hair release from the follicles and they are pulled out.

Laser hair removal is the final option for hirsutism treatment. In this method, light from the laser eliminates several hairs in the affected area. The pigment present in the hair absorbs the energy from the laser and gets destroyed.

Sensitive Skin - What Precautions Should You Take?

People tend to believe that they have sensitive skin when they use certain products that don't suit them and causes some redness, itching, blotches, rashes, etc. However, this is not true. Sensitive skin is actually used to describe a condition when skin develops rashes, skin bumps, erosions, pustules, blotches, redness and so on when exposed to harsh weather conditions such as extreme heat, wind or cold.

There are some common skin ailments for that may harm a sensitive skin; i.e. Acne, rosacea, burning and stinging as well as contact dermatitis or irritants and allergies. Skin can be sensitive on any part of the body, including legs, arms, hands, etc. but it is most noticeable on the face though. The degree of sensitivity varies from person to person. Sensitive skin easily reacts when exposed to sunlight or wind. Also, such a skin is more prone to dryness, itchiness and redness. So, in case you have a sensitive skin you need to be extra cautious with the foods you eat and the products you use.

Precautions to be taken in case of a sensitive skin:

  1. First of all, you need to find out what is causing the problem. Is it food, weather or a product and stop using/avoiding those things to protect your skin.
  2. Wash your face with a mild cleanser twice a day.
  3. Do not overload yourself with several skin care products like toners, scrubs, packs, and variety of creams.
  4. Keep a healthy, balanced diet which is rich in antioxidants such as Vitamins A, C and E. Also increase your intake of anti-inflammatory spices such as turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and black pepper.
  5. Exercise daily to ensure a good circulation to the skin.
  6. Drink at least eight glasses of water daily. Adding lemon gives your skin the much needed Vitamin C.
  7. Choose natural and soft fabrics such as silk and cotton for sensitive skin.
  8. Avoid exposing your skin to too hot or cold water .
  9. Avoid using skin care and cosmetic products that have alcohol, harsh exfoliants, petrochemicals, acids, or synthetic fragrances as these can irritate the skin.
  10. While trying a new product make sure to do a trial test on the skin especially on your inner arm or behind your ear.
  11. Use a good broad spectrum sunscreen which is non comedogenic, paraben and fragrance-free.
  12. Try to reduce stress in life by resorting to activities such as meditation, yoga, or walking.
  13. Get enough restful sleep to enable your body clock to function normally, which will give you clear skin.

However, if you do have any prolonged, unexplained skin reaction then you should visit your dermatologist who might conduct a skin allergy test to identify the root cause of the problem. Finally, limit your alcohol intake.
