Sir I am 31 yrs old for 13 yrs suffering from diabetes, doctors advised insulin of lantex & novo rapid.Which are costly can I use any cheap alternatives, kindly advise.
You have to use lantus but instead novo rapid, you can use actrapid or insuman rapid, but shift it under strict doctor's monitoring.

I am 39 years old male and 10 months back hba1c was 7% and was advised by one of the doctors to take xmet sr 1 gram daily morning along with breakfast, but due to unavoidable circumstances I discontinued after 3 months and suddenly last week diagnosis says my hba1c is 10.2%. Please advice.
Don't stop the medications, diabetes is lifelong and will require life long medications. Restart the medications or visit your concerned doctor.

I used to take eslo 5 for the last couple of years and due to swelling in my both ankles, Dr. Changed my medicines to tazloc 40 but I have noticed that in the evening my bp starts shooting upward and with the medicine it came down and in the morning it is normal. Can you suggest whether this new medicines is not working properly or due to something else my bp starts shooting upward in the evening.
May be you will need slightly higher dose or will need combination of tazloc with other anti hypertension rx.

Cholesterol. 47 ldl. 80 vldl. 29 tc/hdl. Ratio. 3.3 ldl/hdl. 1.7 bilirubin. Total. 0.8 sgot. 63 sgpt. 120 alkaline. Phosphatase. 74 total protein. 7.2 albumin. 4.3 globulin. 2.9 on treatment. 1. Gluformin g2.1--'-0---1 2. Jalram. 50-500 1----0---1 3. Ecospin. Av. 75 0-----0----1 Is this the correct treatment?
Well with diabetes with long duration and with hba1c of 7.5 is good. But still the more you approach to make hba1c < 7, the pp blood sugar is responsible for hba1c in between 7-8 %. And thats what we are seeing, you pp is raised. My suggestion is take ppg 0.3 or stabose 0.3 thrice a day, immediately after meals.

Doctor I am diabetic patient and under medication. Is it possible if I stop medicine and instead take care of my diet habit and go for walking everyday. Thanks.
Its not possible. Because your body doesnt produce enough insulin to keep your blood sugar normal with diet and walking alone.

I am 54 yr male. On 25.4.2014 my random fasting and pp sugar level was 165, 125 and 180. Should I visit a doc? I have started walking 1 hour morning and half hour evenings. No other complaint till now.
You will never have complaints with diabetes, until you develop complications, and thats why many diabetes people ignore this disease or don't take it seriously. Diabetes is silent killer, and it kills slowly if not controlled, obviously you should see a doc and start your rx. Do your hba1c.
My husband is 29 years old. He has 126 sugar level on fasting and post food its 176. What should we do?
Do your hba1c. Hba1c will show you exact diabetes control. Fasting and post meals sugar will show particular day glucose reading. Fbs and ppbs is trailer of diabetes, hba1c is entire movie. Do your hba1c from srl or metropolis. Start lifestyle modifications and medications.
