Some Tips From Ayurveda:

  • Indigestion : Take one spoon Harde Powder with water in morning and bed time.
  • Diarrhoea : take one spoon dry ginger powder with buttermilk every two hours and stop to intake any food for some time. You can add Cumin(jira) powder in it too.
  • Insomnia : In sleep problem take one spoon Piparimool ( Root of Long pepper) with buffalo milk at bed time.
  • Acidity : In this problem have to take two grams of Amla powder empty stomach with water in morning and two grams at bed time with water. Avoid Oily, Spicy, stale and fermented food like pickles too.

Hi Mam basic points for weight loss Rule #1: Going on extreme diets does not work. You will end up see-sawing on weight. What is important is eating right for weight loss. Rule #2: All foods are good when eaten in small quantities and in moderation. You should not avoid one group of foods in order to lose weight. Rule #3: Be aware of your over-eating threshold. Eat slowly and mindfully, and your body will mark your threshold for you. Rule #4: Best time to have fruits is in the morning – the first thing in the morning in fact. Your body is able to absorb the nutrients better. Rule #5: Eat at least 20 grams of fiber per day from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Fiber helps you feeling full longer. Rule #6: Drink water as you start your meal, and eat with hands to and chew slowly. Regards.

I've diabetics and taking one tablet of tenepam M everyday. HbA1c level came down from 8.9% to 8.0% in one month and since then maintaining fasting sugar below 95 mm/dl by regular exercise and medication. Kindly advice how long it will take to lower HbA1c level to below 7.2 %.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. It is not possible to predict within how many days HbA1c level will reduce to your expectations. Ideally in very well controlled diabetes fasting should be< 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c % ,< 6.8. I don't know why 7.2 is your target. Thanks.

You can control this with diet and lifestyle modifications. In general, the diet for fatty liver disease includes: lots of fruits and vegetables high-fiber plants like legumes and whole grains very little added sugar, salt, fried foods no alcohol daily exercises mainly Suryanamaskaras.
