Myopathy is usually a progressive disorder but sometimes it is self arrested. Do physiotherapy to prevent contractures & deformities. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Following may help inj dinabol 25 mg im weekly x 6wks. You will need other supportive medicines also. This disease does not affect the intelligence of the patient use your intelligence. You can work on computer etc. Keep your moral up.

Hello, there are many causes behind backache *any strain or sprain in the muscles or ligaments of the back during lifting of heavy objects is the main cause of the lower back pain. *sitting in the wrong posture for a very long time is another cause. *people suffering from constipation may also suffer from lower back pain. *sometimes sleeping on wrong type of beds can also cause pain in the back. I am suffering from ankylosis spondylitis and today I was having severe pain in my neck just behind the ears. Why is this happening to me. My entire previous generation didn't had this incurable disease. Why me? What did I do wrong? Why am I suffering so much. I used to go to the gym every day but for the past 1 and half years my whole life has been changed just because of this chronic disease. Oh my God what should I do. I can't tolerate this anymore. I have been consuming sazo 1000 for the past 8 months and everything was quite normal (i. E reduced pain) but since I left my medications the pain has started again. Do I need to consume painkillers for my entire life. Am I going to be normal again. I don't know what to do? Is there anyone who can help me. I would really really appreciate it. Thanks.

lybrate-user AS is arthritis where long term inflammation of the joint. The cause of ankylospondylosis is unknown. It is believed to be combination of hereditary and environmental factors. More than 90 % of those affected have specific human leucocyte antigen known as HLA B 27. Homeopathy can cure this case or can palliate the condition to greater extent. It should be treated by experienced homeopath who take details of the case and select proper medicines and give the doses in judicious manner. If you have any difficult, you can ask me through Lybrate.

I am having lower back pain with burning kind of sensation from last 4 years. It pains on the both sides of the back bone. History: Almost 4 years back while lying on my elbow on bed I slipped slightly and felt a small twitch in almost middle of the back near spinal cord. Next morning I felt very strong pain in back and the back felt very stiff. I consulted a nearby doctor and he prescribed some medicines. The medicine relieved pain for some time. But after that the pain started to re occur though there was no stiffness. I consulted in Manipal Hospital Bangalore 3-4 months after that. They took x Ray and they said everything looks OK. They asked me to do some exercises. I did that for few days but I did not feel any difference. After few more months I consulted a different doctor in Bangalore. After examination he recommended for internal physio therapy sessions. They used to rub some lubricant kind of thing on the lower back and do some massage kind of thing with a vibrating patch. I went for 5-6 sessions and felt some what relieved but the pain started to occur again. I consulted an orthopedic 2 months back. He gave me some medicines and asked me do some exercises which I did for 1 month. But still it is same. If I I run for 15-20 min and the body gets little warm up it feels relaxed in the back also. Can you guide me what should I do to get cured?

Hi, kindly get mri of lumbar spine done to see disc, foramen, nerve, facet joints and sacroiliac joints which might be your source of problem. Once diagnosis is confirmed it can be treated, as per your history I don't see you have been diagnosed properly, moreover burning sensation signifies neuropathic component (nerve involvement) along with pain, which requires close assessment.

Hai lybrate-user, it's due to the strain to the vertebrae you feel pain on lifting weights. Please try to bend your knees while lifting any weight. Please try to apply heat to back using hot water bag. Prefer to have a hot water bath when you have pain. Once pain get reduced, try to do backward exercise. Like laying on bed upside down, try lifting both legs without bending knee. Like that try lifting head also hands by the side of chest.
