Sir, My wife aged 50 years prone to migraine and back ache. Yesterday she suffered a back ache. And she felt a ache transfered to bottom of the central part of the chest. Not in the heart area. Taken tab for muscle catch. But not of a much relief. Ache still there. Can not take long breath. Any remedy is welcomed.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Back pain increading in night means may be due to lying posture or the Mattress u are using.Once check it.Some times;changing mattress will correct tgr back pain.

Hello sir/madam, I am 22 years old female. I am not married. I have immune problem from my birth onwards. Now I have zinc deficiency problem and also now paining my hand and legs nerves. I couldn't work and walk speedily. My hands nerve paining. Always I feel so tired. I couldn't eat (not hungry), my parents always give healthy food and fruits. But nowadays I got weightless (now I am in 46kgs, height 150cm). I felt my hair growth also stopped. I want a solution for my nerve pain? What I do now? Please help me. (doctors said and give vitamin tab only always)

You may have immune deficiency but your harmonic imbalances as well as metabol ism also taking a greater part in your life. Better advice is to follow regular routines of getting all yoga and exercise with proper dietary measures and practice meditation twice daily then you feel better result. You continue it for six months regular and hot water sipping boiled with ginger and tulasi leaves every half-hour. If you trust me then continue it and I assure you for your complete cure without any medicine.

good evening my Lybrate user, u do some exercise. walk one hour daily. Take water minimum 3-4 ltrs per day. Take a medicine Rhus Tox -200/8 doses twice daily in empty stomach. One dose means If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills. If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly. Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Dear lybrate user, my advise would be to consult a specialist either ortho/pain specialist for diagnosis, as low back pain can arise from disc, facet joints, sacroiliac joints, piriformis muscles, ql muscles etc. It is important to find out the source of problem and treat it rather than taking pain killer or doing physiotherapy without knowing the problem. Hope it will guide and help you understand your problem and you take steps accordingly. Thanks.

Hi Doctor, My wife have Back pain issue. Her Arthritis, Typhoid, Bone X-ray all test done and all are negative. She has thin body and 5'3" height. When she takes any medicine of calcium then his pain increased and excessive white discharge happens. She is really frustrated after taking so many medicine their is no significant change in pain. She had miscarriage in Mar 2014. Please help.

Dear lybrate-user, get a mri done to pin point the cause and site of pain. Meanwhile go for ayurveda's panchkarma therapy - we have many option for you - kati basti (specialised panchakarma procedure for backpains), localised massgae with herbal oils, localised medicated steam, pottali massage. Continue these procedures for atleast 15 days. Regular oiling of the joint will improve the lubrication also. These procedures will relax your back muscles and give strength to your nerves and muscles of back. Also start some yogic exercises - tadasana, dhanurasan, halasana along with these therapies. This will greatly help. Please avoid pushing / pulling heavy objects, long sittings, long two-wheeler drives. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. I have pain in calf of left leg and lower left back. Intensity increases after going to bed. Is it appendicitis? Or something related to kidney? Or else?

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Wall calf stretch Stand about two feet away from a wall. Place the ball of your right foot against the wall while your heel remains on the ground. Slowly and gently lean into the wall while keeping your knee straight. Hold this for 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Hold this for the 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Sir, I use lemon in normal water and I am taking this without honey, I am using black solt with water and lemon. I am doing this activity 10 times in a day but since 7 days I have lots of pain in my right& left leg knee. Kindly suggest what will I do because I am not able to join jim.

Dont take black salt for 10 times a day. Use it twice a day. Lemon & honey can be used more also but avoid black salt.

I am a 21 year old male and have a backache last 3-4 years long. What should I do in such situations?

Hi, You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. Also 3-4 years is a long time so it will require a detailed clinical examination and investigations so that the condition can be understood in detail. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc and with no other associated constitutional symptoms like evening rise in temperature, loss of weight, excessive sweating at night etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Dear sir, My age is 37 years, I had back pain and sciaticasince 28 april 2010. I was continuing treatment in all Ayurveda, allopathy, homeopathy. I had a temporary relief at the time of taking medicine. But no permanent relief. My family back ground got married in June 2009. We lived together around five months, she was pregnant and she left me for delivery to his home. A male child born after that she did not returned to me. Many family councils attended but no use finally we got divorce. She got married by october 2016. Now also am getting thoughts of her. Unable to forget her. My father aged 72 years and prepares food for me, now am in search of bride and no one is coming forward to marry me because of second marriage. My present behaviour/symptoms as on November 2016. Numbness in both foots, hands, some thing wrong in my head that I can not say clearly about it. Feeling uneasy when I sit, walk, lethargy mind, forgetfulness, when I speak to some other person, I think of my behaviour that how I behaved with the person, some times laughing, speaking the same lonely. As I am from a poor family please suggest me a good govt. Ayurvedic hospital or else private. Thanking you

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises. 3. Get your lumber spine x ray done. 4. Don't sit on floor. 5. Don't lift heavy things. 6. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 7. Do Hot fermentation twice a day. 8. Wear lumber spine belt. 9. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.
