This is good thing to control without medicine. Lower your intake of water. Have a max of 1 ltr water in 24 hrs. Maintain a gap of min 6 hrs in meals. Have less tea & coffee. Lower stress. Have chandraprabha vati 2 bd for 1 month before food.

I am looking for weight gain. I am going to gym regularly from last two months and also gained 5 kg weight also. My current weight is 70 kg and height is 5 ft 11 inches but hardly anyone other than notices it other than me. Some even say that I lost the weight. I am really confused what exactly happening. To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

Hi if your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Increase liquids drinking plenty of liquids helps flush out toxins from the body. Keep yourself hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, also include lassi, coconut, water, lemon water in your daily routine. Make sure to include homemade soups only, as packaged soups are not that nutritious and contain added sodium in them. 6. Carbonated beverages and alcohol these give you extended bellies and your dream of flat tummy falls flat. Alcohol gives you empty calories with zero nutrition. 7. Probiotic curds include low fat curd in your diet regime as it contains live bacteria which tame bloating by increasing intestinal motility. 8. Method of cooking no doubt salads and sprouts are good for our health but if experience distension with them then saute, blanch or steam them also fried foods are best to be avoided not only because of their high-calorie content but also because frying leads to changes in oil composition which may result in bloating. 9. Avoid chewing gums and candies while chewing them air enters our digestive system, giving us feeling of bloating, also candies are zero in nutrition but contain loads of calories. Also, eat slowly as gulping down increases air passage to the digestive system 10. Individual tolerances some individuals are more intolerant to certain foods like radish, capsicum, tea, cauliflower etc, so with your own personal experience omit them from your diet.

I feel that my body is not utilizing what I eat. When I go to answer nature call I see that I am not able to digest properly. For example: if I eat a dish which has tomato, I will see tomato floating. Digest ion very poor and I am very thin no matter how much I eat.

Hi to increase weight you should improve your digestive system...by digesting your indigested food with the help of remedy and medicines will ultimately increase your appetite and digestive system...take chitrakadi vati after meal...Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day..Take banana milk shake... Thanks for the query. Thyroid hormone deficiencey called as hypothyroidism is is a well known problem leading to excess weight gain. To over come this one needs to star treatment with the hormone levothyroxine. Since you have complained about weight gain during last few months, it is essential for you to start treatment right away. Hence if interested come back with following details like T4, T3 & TSH values, weight and height and any other symptoms being felt. Based on those details I will be able to guide in controlling the condition and regaining your original weight. You will have to come in a private conversation so that I will be able to prescribe the drugs needed and to give other specific advise. In this communication only general guidelines can be given. Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit

Your fasting glucose is too high. Shows totally uncontrolled diabetes. Ideally when on treatment Fasting should be closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c%<6.8. So please see that a better blood glucose control is achieved. Diet plan has to be very specific so I need to know present dietary habit, extent of daily exercise and current treatment to give any opinion. Thanks.

Hye. You cannot target one body part. Try to work on overall toning. Exercise along with a good diet will help. Keep a balance of good proteins, carbohydrates and healthy fats. Calcium rich foods like dairy, nuts and vitamin rich fruits and vegetables will help as well.

My grandma is 70 years old. She is under medication for heart problem and sugar. She has also developed umbilical hernia for past 10 yrs. Now she has a big lump protruding below here umbilicus. First and foremost rule out that the bowel or intestines are not going to be stuck inside hernia and it should not create strangulated hernia which causes emergency situation and to save life operation had to be done. She can easily get operated under regional anaesthesia with an experience anaesthetist. My main concern in your grand mas case is the colicky pain which could be the sign of subacute intestinal obstruction. Get it checked by surgeon.

Diabetes is not controlled > the aim should be bring hba1c to,< 7. Check your recent fbs, 2hr ppbs and hba1c and sinorm me / you take onglyza 5 mg at noon or in the morning and take glyciphage 1 gm at night and inform. Best control can be got by starting insulin.

To remain healthy and Fit ,you should follow 3 steps in your life 1.BALANCED DIET 2.EARLY MORNING BRISK MORNING WALK for 30 minutes and 10 minutes evening walk after Dinner 3.DRINK 6-8 Glasse of water daily. As 60% of our body is made of water, it acts as a carrier of essential nutrients inside our body. Loosing as little as 5% of body's weight as water can cause headache, fatigue and lower your muscle strength. To stay healthy, an adult should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. Banana is high energy fruit with good source of potassium and other nutrient. One banana contain 120 to 130 kcal so if you eat 3 banana it will be almost equal to your dinner. As you need to decrease your weight also. So instead of eating banana you should eat high fiber low calorie food. You require proper diet plan.

Your weight is normal. Change food habites over eating, havy food, non veg, rich proteins, avoid too much seating take some few minuties break walk few minuties than work. Do arobic excersices, yoga, fast walking will help you reduce belly fats take simple veg home made food with salad.

Dear sir, Please add Jou or barley flour in your diet. Roast this flour and mix 1/4th of it in normal wheat flour. Prepare chapaties wit it and Eat it daily. Eat more of fiber containing food like green leafy vegies, more of fresh seasonal fruits, drink less water with meals instead take sips of water while eating food and don?t drink before and after. Sit in Vajra asan for 2-5 mins or walk 100 steps after every meal. You can also chew 4-5 leaves of curry patta daily as it will reduce your weight, protects liver and works as antioxidants along with increasing Hb which will overcome you weakness.
