Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

Follow this simple food formula. Divide your food plate in 3 portions. 50%, 25% & 25%. 50% should be filled with fruits in morning and salad/steamed veggies in afternoon and night. 25% can be cooked curries, lentils etc. And remaining 25% can be rice/wheat based foods or other grains/millets. Have almost negligible packed & processed foods made of flour, oil, sugar & dairy. Min. 45 mins of brisk walk / exercise will help, but only if done consistently always, so that it becomes pat of your life.

Few days ago I had pain in my abdomen. Ultrasonic report shows that I have infection in right ovary. So doctor prescribed me the tablets drotaverine hydrochloride and mefenamic acid tab. So my problem is that now my period has been delayed so please tell me that this is because of that tablets or I got pregnant.

That tablets never cause delayed period. Period may be delayed due to pregnancy or other reasons (hormonal problems, problems in thyroid, uterus etc). So, first get urine pregnancy test done and then consult doctor.

Failure to gain normal weight generally has a few reasons like inappropriate dietary habit specifically low in protein, physical over activity more than calorie intake and in cases were this factors are absent then most likely their is a problem in metabolism or some clinical conditions or some diseases like hyperthyroidism, protein malabsorption syndrome, etc. If you can share your more details than we can help you.

Please advise on juice of watermelon should we also utilize the white portion of watermelon or should we just avoid the same. Is the white portion also has nutrition value and should it be consumed along the red portion or it just waste. Please advice.

The white of the watermelon also called the rind of the watermelon has vitamins such as vitamin c and and b6. It is also healthy for the skin, immunity and nervous system. It may be consumed for these benefits along with the red of the watermelon.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. No one can be fit without daily physical exercise. For diabetes apart from necessary drugs (oral antidiabetics and Insulin Injections), regular exercise, maintaining normal weight and taking a restricted and balanced diet. Are the remedies. Thanks.

5ft 6 inches and 65 kg constitutes a bmi of 23.3 which is not obese. So medically there is no need to reduce weight drastically. Yes but you need to control your diet and have a proper exercise regimen to remain healthy. Drink lot of water, cut down on binge eating carbohydrate rich foods and you will be just fine.
