Pale comb in chicken is a sign of anemia .you need to take it to a veterinarian after taking proper history and examination he will rule out what is the actual cause.

These's been a lot of hair loss in my dog I have been using petglow tonic from a couple of days but there's no improvement.

Master of sciences, B.V.Sc. & A.H.
Veterinarian, Salem
Please continue with any tonic which contain omega 3 and 6 oil at least for a month and see for the results they all can't produce results in hours. Sir need to wait./// as the damage caused took so much time to disintegrate the skin and you need same or twice time to repair it.

How to identify that my dog has fever for two days he is not eating anything there is changes in him.

Masters Of Veterinary Science In Veterinary Surgery And Radiology
Veterinarian, Gurgaon
If possible you can take Rectal temperature. If it’s more than 102.5 degree Fahrenheit, it may be fever. If fever is there go for routine blood test to know the cause of fever.

I have a cat of 4 months old. I need to prevent it from pregnancy so is that possible through any injection or pill. Other then spay?

MVSc, BVSc
Veterinarian, Mumbai
Hormone injection or pills could be given as contraception, but these come with sideffects. This can lead to some serious health issues to your kitten. Safest and reliable way is spaying.

Is Kennel Cough Vaccine Really Necessary for Dogs?

B.V.Sc. & A.H., M.V.Sc.-Pathology
Veterinarian, Bangalore
Is Kennel Cough Vaccine Really Necessary for Dogs?

Many animals receive “kennel cough” vaccines that include bordetella and cpi and cav-2 every 6 to 9 months without evidence that this frequency of vaccination is necessary or beneficial. In contrast, other dogs are never vaccinated for kennel cough and diseases are not seen. Cpi immunity lasts at least 3 years when given intranasally and cav -2 immunity lasts a minimum of 7 years parenterally for cav-i. These two virus in combination with bordetella bronchiseptica are the agents, which are often associated with kennel cough, however, other factors play an important role in diseases (eg. Stress, dust, humidity, molds, mycoplasma, etc.).

Thus, kennel cough is not a vaccine preventable disease because of the complex factors associated with this disease. Furthermore, this is often a mild to moderate self limiting disease. It's just like common cold in humans. A course of antibiotics usually is enough to treat the condition. I generally do not recommend kennel cough vaccines unless dogs are staying in a boarding facility that requires them.
