My last period is 19th januvary now26th my periods1st day then wat is the my safety period?

The 8th to 21st day of the menstrual cycle counting from first day is considered as fertile period or the UNSAFE period. Days other than this are considered SAFE, that is, the 1st-7th day of the cycle and then again from the 22nd to the 28th day. But this may not exactly be correct for all women though. It depends on the length of their menstrual cycle . This calculation only holds good if the woman has a exact 28 day cycle or maybe slightly lesser than that. If the cycle is longer than that, it isn?t reliable.

Control Hair Fall With These Ayurvedic Remedies!

Hair loss can be harrowing for both men and women, especially if it tends to be above normal for extended periods of time. Losing more hair than that can signify problems within the body such as hormonal changes, ageing, lifestyle-related issues etc. 

Lifestyle change tips to avoid hair fall: Even before getting into Ayurvedic remedies to control the loss of hair, it is important to reduce the problems which may be contributing to the problem in the first place. Some of the things that you may be required to do are:

  1. Maintain or start of on a healthy diet and cut fatty, oily and processed foods from your diet.
  2. Start exercising to ensure that your body is in the best shape it possibly can be and thus everything within, is functioning optimally.
  3. Start doing yoga, breathing exercises and other meditative techniques to ensure that your stress levels are kept under control.
  4. Get head massages regularly as they improve blood circulation within the scalp 
  5. Quit smoking, excessive alcohol consumption and inculcate good sleep habits which help prevent hair loss problems. 

Controlling hair loss with Ayurvedic tips:

  1. Indian gooseberry or amla: A pack of amla, bramhi and henna powder can be made with curd and water. Apply it and keep it for a couple of hours and then wash it off. Amla juice mixed with lemon juice can be massaged on the scalp after the wash. This will make the follicles on your scalp stronger. 
  2. Ritha: An age old solution to hair problems, Ritha is also known as soapberry as it contains naturally foamy and cleansing agents. Crush the Ritha seeds and keep them soaked in water overnight. Wash your hair with the mixture in the morning and continue for a month to see visible results.
  3. Aloe vera with cumin seeds: Mix about one-third cup of aloe vera juice with a little bit of cumin or Jeera powder. Use this mixture at least twice a day, for a few months to see results in the prevention of hair thinning.
  4. Bhringaraaj: One of the most effective Ayurvedic herbs used in many medicines, it can be taken internally to help the system repair the hair related problems, or applied externally as Bhringaraaj oil to encourage hair growth and stopping hair loss.
  5. Brahmi oil: Considered brain food in its herb form, Brahmi oil is known to be very good for hair-related ailments and is very effective at stopping hair loss and help new hair growth. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.

I am 24 years old and I got married before two months. My problem is that my period time is 15th to 18th day of month but after one of marriage my period came on date 9th day of month means it had come only in 20 days. What about this? please reply me very soon I am worried about that.

Hi, after marriage cycles changes it will get post or preponed due to body and hormonal changes as you r with you partner some few people have delayed cycles to due emergency pills r and other contraceptive pills so don't worry.

I am suffering from anxiety. I think so. Kind of social anxiety. Whenever am going to a new place for interview or to meet a peraon on a blind date. I started feeling dizzyness light headed and also pukes sometime. After puking I feel normal. What is it?

To a certain extent all of us feel like that but we do not react so severely. Perhaps you have an inferiority complex or are afraid of new situations and people. Blind dates can be exciting or frightful, anyway. If the fear is too much for you, then you may react with dizziness and vomiting? like it is unbearable. Together with stress your imagination will tend to go wild with possibilities. Talk to a counselor and deal with this extreme fear, you will no longer have these reactions. It is very useful to also have a fit body by regular exercise; and to be emotionally fit so that you can develop resilience to combat most situations with much composure. Your understanding of people in authority may stem from a strict parent at home to cause much anxiety. Relating to the opposite sex will get better over time with every outing. Many girls are as anxious as you would be and it helps to feel at ease yourself before making them comfortable. You will be a hit with females, if you display composure. Well, men are supposed to be the stabilizing and steadying force especially in crisis: so practice, learn the routines and become adept at it. Not too far into the future you will be walking with the girl of your dreams making her feel secure and safe because of you!

Hello respected doctors .My sis is having cold cough and fever since 7 days .Since 6 Days she's taking azicip 500 mg one tablet for 3 days ,reaction plus 2 tablets in a day for 4 days as per doctors prescription .But still cough cold and fever haven't reduced .could you please help?

Dear lybrateuser, -Do steam inhalation three times a day -take tablet Sinarest, 1 tablet three times a day after food with water or milk -avoid cold fluids, have more of warm fluids like water, tea, coffee, milk (mix 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric in 1 cup of milk, have twice a day) & warm soup -avoid sour, fried & spicy food -do warm salt water gargles three times a day if itching or pain in throat -if still not much relief then do blood cbc, x-ray chest & consult a doctor you may require a change in medication or new medication. -

If you have been putting on weight and had missed your period, you need to be investigated. Get a sonography done and then consult a gynaecologist who would examine you and get certain blood tests. Please be physically very active like go for walks, do yoga and exercises. As far as your diet is concerned you should be taking its of fruits, vegetables and salad. Take less oily stuff.

You can avoid premature ageing by avoid:- Ake care of your neck, shoulders and hands Your face may look younger than your age, but your neck, shoulders and hands can instantly reveal your true age. It’s crucial to take care of those parts of your body each day to prevent premature aging. Moisturize your neck, shoulders and hands before sleep and use a sunscreen during the day. Avoid too much sun exposure. Wash your face twice a day Sometimes you are too sleepy to wash your face in the morning and too tired to remove your makeup before sleep. It’s one of the worst habits that lead to premature aging. It only takes a few minutes to wash your face so don’t find excuses to avoid doing it regularly. Not only will you prevent premature wrinkles, you can also prevent acne. Get enough sleep. Avoid to touch your face frequently.

I am 20 year old and having more hair fall now due to place change. Can I use filtered water for hair to stop hair loss caused due to hard water.

1.Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon mustard oil, and 1 cup yogurt. Apply this to the hair 30 minutes to 1 hour before washing the head and hair. 2.Soak 50 gm methi dana in 2 cups of water overnight, next day in the morning make the paste and apply on scalp for 15 minutes. 3..Mix powdered Indian gooseberry (amla) and sesame seeds in equal amounts. Take 1 teaspoon twice a day with water. 4.Massage with bhrigraj oil thrice a week. 5.Wash hair regularly 2-3 times a week with a mild shampoo. 6.Avoid scratching the scalp with hands or any other objects. 7.Avoid spicy, greasy, hot and penetrating foods, junk food, and aerated drinks. 8.Have food with good nutritive value; include fiber-rich foods, salads, fruits, and lentils 9. continue jaborandi oil.

1. Take one tablet of crocin advance sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily 2. Do warm saline gurgling 3-4 times daily 3. Take viscodyne d syrup 2tsf thrice daily if it is a dry cough or viscodyne syrup if cough is associated with sputum 4. You may have to take antibiotic along with it after consulting doctor, if no relief.

Follow these methods to get rid of tanning: * take one teaspoon of lemon with 1/2 teaspoon of glycerine on tanned areas and leave for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with cold water. * you can use cucumber with lemon juice to apply on tanned area. * gently rub the slices of raw tomatoes on tanned area for 5 minutes and then clean with water. You can apply pulp of tomatoes on skin and leave on for 20 minuteon and then rinse with water. * mix one teaspoon of curd with one teaspoon of fuller' s earth (multani mitti) mix and apply it on face for 5 - 7 minutes and then rinse of with water. * apply rose water on tanned area. * mix one teaspoon of curd with one teaspoon of besan apply it for 10 minutes and rinse with water. It remove dead layer of skin and tanning.

If you are suffering from viral fever it is best that you take enough rest and have warm soothing food like soup and khichidi till you get better. If you have very severe symptoms like high fever, extreme body ache, etc. you should visit your doctor for some medicines to give you some symptomatic relief. No, once a person is infected by a virus, he/she cannot be infected by the same virus again because the body makes antibodies (infection fighters) for that specific virus. These antibodies fight the virus before it has a chance to infect you once again. If you suffer from recurrent viral fever it is likely that you have been infected by different types of viruses at different stages. Finally, remember that you should not ignore a fever, do not self-medicate and visit a doctor at once if you notice symptoms like high fever with chills, one that won’t subside with medication, one that lasts for a long time and one that is intermittent in nature.

I don't want to give you false hopes and at the same time discourage you. Changes do take place with proper exercise and diet. Your diet must include a glass of juice (any juice), fresh fruits and a full serving of salads at every meal: cucumber, tomato, carrot, beetroot, radish, onion slices or spring onion, raw cauliflower, cabbage leaf, sprouted seeds etc. All this is essential to give you a balanced nutrient boost. Cut out any junk food and aerated drinks totally. Generally foods that come out of a packet, or can, or bottle shud be avoided. Exercise to increase circulation:- 2 mins of hard exercise then 1 min rest - do this four times a day. You can either do it all in one go or split it into sessions through the day. In total it is only 12 mins a day so should not be a big issue. A very useful exercise is to jump in one place simulating skipping. Build up your time to 2 mins. Of jumping. The benefits of this is ungaugeable, and cannot be explained medically as yet, it effects the entire body. In conclusion, live and eat healthy and you will develop energy, a glowing skin and a healthy'go' in life -regardless of age.
