Do You Know the Sun is Adding Wrinkles To Your FACE?

Facial wrinkling occurs when the skin develops creases, folds and ridges. The formation of wrinkles is a normal part of the process of skin ageing. However, certain factors may accelerate the process and lead to premature wrinkling of the face and other parts of the body.

The main causes of facial wrinkling are:

1. Skin ageing:
as a person gets older, his/her skin becomes less taut and begins to sag. The production of natural oils and fat in the deeper layers of the skin gets reduced with age, which leads to the formation of wrinkles due to diminished skin elasticity.

2. Sun exposure: constant exposure of skin to the sun causes damage and speeds up the ageing process. The harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun break down collagen and collective tissue fibres, which is the primary cause of premature wrinkling.

3. Skin complexion: due to the absence of melanin, people with fairer (lighter) skin, experience more damage due to sun exposure. This causes them to develop wrinkles much earlier.

4. Facial muscle contraction: repeatedly making the same facial expressions and contraction of face muscles causes wrinkling. Those who constantly frown, smile or squint get facial wrinkles as it leads to reduced skin elasticity.

5. Smoking: smokers are more susceptible to premature wrinkling. This is due to the presence of nicotine, tar and other chemicals from the smoke in the bloodstream, which hamper the supply of blood and oxygen to the outer layers of skin.

6. Genetic factors: many people get facial wrinkling as a result of hereditary causes and family genetics.

However, the good news is that facial wrinkling can be prevented through these simple ways:

Sun protection

This is the most effective way of avoiding wrinkles. Keep yourself protected against sun exposure by staying out of the sun as much as possible and wearing sunscreen at all times.

Quitting the smoke

Kicking the habit will show a marked improvement in your skin quality and would help prevent further wrinkling.

Use of moisturisers

Dry skin is more prone to wrinkling. Keeping your skin supple and moisturised prevents wrinkles.

Leading a healthy lifestyle

The combination of following a nutritious diet, drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep and regularly exercising keeps the skin young and wrinkle-free.

Treatment options:

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Hi, im a 23 years women. Im suffering from pimples from last 15 days. Till now I did not get pimples. Now, the number is increases day by day. I had a swelling on my left inner lip of my vagina and it was itching on that particular spot as well. This swelling was there for around 3 days and last night I saw pus secreting out of the swollen area. After that the vaginal lip has somewhat gone back to normal size.

Hello, It is a sign of infection which from your description seems to be settling now. If symptoms persist it will require medication. Wear cotton underwear and loose-fitting pants or skirts. Avoid tight-fitting underwear.

Minimum 7hrs, sleep is required. You should be fresh after sleep. Irrespective of timings if you get sound sleep is good.

Hi welcome - any one can do work out particular ly free hand & yoga, meditation etc in your young age level. There is no problems so far reported. Further one advice that you should burn your calorie by doing exercises as needed as per body weight, bmi, rest of working styles. This all should be well balanced so no excess or unwanted fat burning.

Hi there, As I realized my body fat is increasing, I started exercise like 30 mins jogging and running. Then some small exercises like sit ups, crunches, skipping etc. For about a week and truly I don't realized any change in my body, it's still as fatty (belly fat, thigh fat, and chest fat too). Take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day. Medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day. And pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day. .avoid junk food. Oily food. Fermented food. Alcohol consumption. Sugar.milk products and sweets. Take oats and cereals more. And do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day. And do exercises. Do not sleep immediately after taking meal.

Hello, yes it can be cured. But can you please ask her to consult me once. It is important. It happens due to hormonal imbalance which are over-ruled by emotions and environment around her she is living. So need to correct it, so just consult just at least once for your betterment. And please do not take any hormonal pills to bring menses for that. It leads to obesity after 1-1.5 yrs. Take care.:)

Your height can increase for at least 2 more years. Play basketball, do swimmin. Eat a protein rich diet. Take proper sleep and drink plenty of water. Take calcium supplements, do yoga and stretching. Sit in the sunlight for at least an hour or a half everyday. You can also take help of a gym trainer if your height has been the same for last one year, don't worry.
