I am 21 years old and I am suffering from the problem of halitosis and I dont know whether it's occurrence is from liver or from internal parts or from mouth but mostly I know it is come from internal body organs. So, suggest me what to do.?

Bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: practice good oral hygiene. Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. Don't forget to brush the tongue, too. Replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. Use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. See your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. Drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. Chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.

Sir my friend has mouth ulcers for over 2 days can you please tell me what should I do?

Sir my friend has mouth ulcers for over 2 days can you please tell me what should I do?
Try to find out what is causing the ulcers. Is this happening again and again? is this related to your monthly periods? are you always biting your cheek or lip? did you bite your tongue accidently? do you have sharp, pointed teeth near the ulcers? are you under some stress? for relief of pain, just apply plain glycerin liquid three times a day and let it remain n contact with the ulcer by closing your mouth, not swallowing for at least 30 seconds after applying it.

I have serious cavity problem over 8 months. Toothpaste are not working. What should I do?

BDS
Dentist, Ahmedabad
I have serious cavity problem over 8 months. Toothpaste are not working. What should I do?
First of all toothpaste don't have any role for the prevention of cavities. And having cavities is not a serious problem at all. Cavities which are not too deep can be excavated and be restored by a dental cement. Cavities that are very deep can be cured by root canal treatment followed by crown ( cap ). For better prevention of cavities , 1- Follow proper brushing technique. 2- Brush twice a day 3-clean your teeth immediately every time after you eat fiid or liquids. 4- Undergo scaling ( cleaning of teeth) at the interval of every 5-6 months. 5- Visit dentist for regular oral cavity check up every 4 months for the early diagnosis and prevention of dental diseases.

Don’t drink soda. People who tend to drink three or more glasses of soda daily have 62 percent more tooth decay, fillings and tooth loss than those who do not drink it at all. In fact, there was a sudden massive surge of patients with tooth decay the year Coke was launched!

Use thermoseal ra toothpaste. Rub gently on sensitive area wait for 5 minutes and then rinse. If you cant get relief after one month. Then you need to go for laminating or veneering. Sensitivity can be due to enamel erosion because of bruxism, hard brushing and aging, and after the orthodontic treatment.
