I do not think that the pain is due to sitting on floor and or peddling the sewing machine. It could be due to any vaginal infection/injury/infection. Please take a note if there is any eruption on the area or not. Take Belladonna 30 - twice daily for pain when required.

Hi back pain usually occurs due to prolonged sitting in a bad posture hence the pressure on the back increases and you get back pain as your muscle don't support any undue pressure so for this now you can start with a hot packs for ten minutes twice a day and also start strengthening your core muscles.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

Dear lybrateuser, -apply ice compress on the part which pains, can apply any pain relieving gel 3-4 times a day, give rest to the limb if pain is more after walking, apply shin splint while walking -consult orthopedician for exact diagnosis & medication.

May be strain n deficiency of calcium levels ok firstly avoid running do only walk for 2 days tk muscle relaxant medicine and apply heat formation with rest time and tk a roll of towel put the under knee and press for 10 second then released ok do 10 to 15 times if it ok otherwise tk vitd and calcium oral ya medicine.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young and there is no reason for a low bone density. But since you have mentioned it, can you kindly tell me whether you have done proper two site dexa test or is it just being done by a small machine which estimates your bone density by your heels or any one region? also what do you mean by strengthening of arms, is it muscles you want to build then best way is to do regular exercises in gymn, take adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation as is required and lead a heavy lifestyle, your muscles will build up subsequently. My mom 42 years old is being suffered from knee pain from around 2-3 years she was also feeling pain in arms of hand.

Start with physiotherapy sessions and learn exercise for knee joint. Don't sit on floors. Wear knee cap open patella also. Take calcium and methylcobalamine supplement with glucosamine for three months minimum.

I fell on my back while swinging chair in 2000 (+-1). I had severe pain in my back which subsided in a month. However it never went away completely. I have always remained a bit overweight. Last year I had reduced to 65 kg. I believe I did not experience much pain in that period. However I have regained weight (fat) and lately the pain increased manifolds. Could it be that the pain is because I am overweight by more than 10 kilos or should I consult a doctor. If I consult then would the doctor suggest anything other then the exercise because I know the exercises as I had used them to curb the pain during 2000 period. Thanks.

Ankle Pumps •Lie on your back. •Move ankles up and down. Repeat 10 times. •Repeat 10 times. Heel Slides Lie on your back. Abdominal Contraction •Lie on your back with knees bent and hands resting below ribs. •Tighten abdominal muscles to squeeze ribs down toward back. •Be sure not to hold breath. •Hold 5 seconds. •Relax. •Repeat 10 times. ••Slowly bend and straighten knee. •Repeat 10 times Wall Squats •Stand with back leaning against wall. •Walk feet 12 inches in front of body. •Keep abdominal muscles tight while slowly bending both knees 45 degrees. •Hold 5 seconds. •Slowly return to upright position. •Repeat 10 times.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
